tri-bible.ai — terms of use

Welcome to tri-bible.ai (the "Site" or "Service"), operated by Ben Lorence, an individual ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The service

tri-bible.ai provides free access to compiled Bible text and related tools, including features that use artificial intelligence to search, compare, summarize, or answer questions about Bible content. The Service is provided free of charge and does not currently require you to create an account.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for general audiences. If you are under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  1. use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  2. attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or related networks;
  3. use automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to extract Content from the Site at a scale beyond normal personal use, except as separately authorized under a Content License Agreement with us;
  4. interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site; or
  5. misrepresent AI-generated output as an official or authoritative Bible translation or as professional theological, legal, medical, or other advice.

4. AI-generated content disclaimer

Some features of the Site use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, answers, comparisons, or other output based on Bible text. AI-generated output may be incomplete, out of context, or inaccurate, and does not represent an official position, denomination, or theological authority. AI-generated output is provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be treated as a substitute for consulting a qualified pastor, theologian, or the primary source text itself.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, software, and original compilation of Content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Use of any Bible text or dataset made available through the Site is governed separately by our Content License Agreement. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Site itself without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

10. Modifications

We may modify or discontinue the Site or any feature at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
