Assurance of Salvation

Assurance rests in God’s unchanging character, not a karmic ledger. Also distinct from the Buddhist framework, where the very notion of a continuous ‘someone’ who could hold assurance across time is philosophically contested under anatta teaching; this doctrine should be taught relationally rather than resting on a particular metaphysics of selfhood.
