Incarnation

CRITICAL: NEVER use अवतार. This carries unusually recent, concrete political weight in Nepal: the Shah dynasty kings, who ruled until the monarchy’s 2008 abolition, were officially venerated as living avatars of Vishnu, making royal avatar-incarnation not an abstract textual idea but the very legitimating ideology of the Nepali state within living memory. देहधारण is the eternal Son permanently and uniquely assuming human nature, once, not a repeatable royal or divine descent.
