What to check before you publish, and deleting your work

The limits of an AI-assisted translation, what a bilingual reader should check, and how to permanently delete a project and everything stored for it.

Last updated October 1, 2026

What is this?

Your translation is a careful draft, not a finished publication. This page says plainly what it cannot do, so you know what to check, and how to remove your work whenever you want to.

What to check before you publish

Have a bilingual reader review it. Ideally someone who knows your audience and your tradition. The fidelity score helps them know where to look, but it has not yet been validated against reviewers’ judgment.

Replace Scripture quotations with an approved Bible text. When your document quotes Scripture, the quotation was translated by the AI. It is not taken from an approved Bible translation, and we do not hold a licensed Bible text for each language. Your report counts the quotations. Replace each with the text your audience uses, and check any rights or quotation limits that apply.

Check Scripture references. We check that every reference in your document survives unchanged. They are kept in their original form in the translation, so you may want to write them the way your readers expect.

Check the formatting. Your translated file follows your headings, lists and quotations. It does not reproduce your original fonts, colours, spacing or page layout. Right-to-left direction is applied and the first font in our guidance for the locale is used where there is one.

Notice when guidance was general. If we did not have specific guidance for your locale, your report says so.

Mind the English-first design. The service works from English text. Meaning is checked in English, by comparing your text with the back-translation, because that is where the checking is reliable.

Where your document goes

To check and translate your document, we send its text to the AI services we use. Your uploaded file, every version of your text, and your translation are stored privately and are visible only to you. Nothing is shared or published. See the Privacy policy and Terms of use.

Deleting a project

At the bottom of every project page is Delete this project. It takes two steps, and it permanently removes:

  • your uploaded document,
  • every version of your text,
  • the translation, your decisions, and the report,
  • and any files you downloaded links for, from our storage.

It cannot be undone. Files you already saved to your own computer are not affected.

If a stored file could not be removed at that moment, you are told. In that case, email translation-success@tri-bible.ai and we will remove it.
