Signing in with an emailed code
How to sign in to My materials with a one-time code sent to your email, how long it lasts, and what to do if it does not work.

What is this?
You can sign in with a six-digit code we email you, instead of a password. It is an extra way in. You can still sign in with a password, Google or Microsoft if you already do.
How to sign in
- Open Log in and type your email address.
- Choose Email me a sign-in code instead.
- Open the email titled “Your tri-bible.ai sign-in code” and type the six digits into the box.
If this is your first time, the same steps create your account. The code is how we confirm the address is really yours. You land on My materials, where your projects live.
How the code works
- It works once and expires after 10 minutes.
- A newer code replaces an older one, so only the latest email works.
- After three wrong guesses a code stops working. Request a new one.
- You can ask for up to five codes an hour for one address. If you reach that, wait and try again.
If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, make sure the address is spelled correctly, and wait a minute. For your privacy, the page says the same thing whether or not an account exists for the address, so a missing email is not a sign that something is wrong with your account.
Administrators
People who administer the platform are asked to use Google or Microsoft sign-in once one of those is linked to their account, because those providers can require a second step. If that is you and the code never arrives, use Google or Microsoft instead.
Staying signed in
You stay signed in on that browser for up to 30 days, and you can sign out at any time from the account menu. On a shared computer, sign out when you are done.
