Imputed Righteousness

CRITICAL: a provisional compound (‘righteousness given as a gift’) distinguishing credited from earned righteousness; this concept must be explicitly taught, since Manipuri Vaishnavism’s bhakti framework (devotional service building toward divine favor) has no ready native equivalent for a status credited apart from any devotional achievement. This rendering should be confirmed with a Manipuri-speaking theologian before wide deployment.
