CRITICAL: Use খ্রীষ্ট, the established NT rendering. মশীহ is the transliteration shared with Bengali Muslim usage (ঈসা মসীহ); Islamic theology denies Christ’s divinity, crucifixion, and resurrection, so retaining মশীহ without extensive qualification would imply a shared theology that does not exist. Reserve মশীহ, with an explanatory note, only for outreach materials addressed specifically to Muslim-background readers.
