CRITICAL: Use the established Bengali Christian form যীশু. ঈসা is the Qur’anic name used by Bengali Muslims and by some Muslim-idiom contextualized translations; it carries a distinct Islamic Christology (a prophet, not the divine Son) and is not used in this mainstream Christian curriculum.
