Intercession

Orthodox piety gives intercession of the saints, and especially of the Theotokos (Maica Domnului), a central and liturgically constant role (akathists, litanies). Romans 8:26-27, 34 describe the Spirit and Christ interceding directly; this curriculum should not argue against requesting others’ prayers, but must not let ‘mijlocire’ default to saint or Marian mediation as the primary model.
