Orthodox culture has a strong, historically prominent monastic vocation tradition (‘chemare monahală’); as with Catholic-heritage ‘vocación’/‘vocação,’ this risks narrowing the general call of every believer in Romans to a specialized religious calling. Use ‘chemare’ with context making clear it addresses every believer.
