CRITICAL: the Kurds are widely described as the largest stateless ethnic group in the world, with a century-long, deeply emotional national aspiration for an independent Kurdistan. ‘Kingdom of God’ risks being heard as validating or blending with this specific political aspiration for statehood; this doctrine must be taught as clearly and exclusively about God’s spiritual reign.
