Faith

Personal trust placed in Christ specifically; object of faith must be stated in context. 虔诚 (qiánchéng, generic piety/devoutness) describes an attitude toward any deity and is too broad. 信仰 (xìnyǎng, ‘a belief system/religion’) is acceptable as a noun for ‘the faith’ but not as the verb-like trust described in Romans 4 and 10.
