Prophecy

God-inspired declaration of what he will do; distinguish from 算卦/占卜 (divination, e.g. I Ching hexagram-casting), a widely practiced Chinese predictive-fortune tradition. Biblical prophecy is revelation from a personal God, not a technique for reading fate.
