Capitalize as ‘la Loi’ for Torah/Mosaic law to distinguish from civil ‘loi’. Catholic natural-law theology (loi naturelle, Thomistic) carries different theological freight than a Reformed law-gospel emphasis; keep the referent narrowly Mosaic in this curriculum.
