Beyond Islam’s fitrah doctrine shared with Arabic and Persian, Pashtunwali’s honor-shame ethics primarily track violations of nang (honor) and tribal code, not transgression against a personal God. Sin in Romans’ sense needs bridging from an honor-shame-primary framework to a guilt-before-God framework.
