Imputed Righteousness

‘Reckoned/credited righteousness’ distinguishes righteousness credited to a believer from righteousness earned through deeds (ukulunga okuzuzwe ngemisebenzi, explicitly rejected). This has no ready equivalent in ubuntu’s emphasis on demonstrated good character built through relationship and conduct, and must be explicitly taught rather than assumed.
