Righteousness

ukulunga (‘being right/straight/good’) is the established term. Risk is that it can be heard as achieved good character or good social standing within the community rather than a right standing before God received as a gift by faith; the distinction must be made explicit, especially since ubuntu culture places strong positive weight on being seen as a person of good, upright character.
