Incarnation
ukwenza inyama (‘became flesh,’ echoing John 1:14) is the doctrinally accurate phrase. ukungena kumuntu (‘to enter into a person’) must be avoided, as it would suggest a spirit temporarily entering or possessing an already-existing person, a traditional category (associated with amadlozi or ancestral-spirit presence) quite different from the eternal Son permanently and uniquely taking on full humanity from conception.
