Jehu’s Purge of Baal Worship

Jehu’s purge accomplishes God’s judgment against the house of Ahab and Baal worship, but his own methods and motives are narratively ambiguous (and later criticized in Hosea 1:4) — do not present his zeal as unambiguously righteous.
