Righteousness

CRITICAL: justicia de Dios in Romans is a right standing granted by God through faith, not self-achieved moral rectitude. Both Catholic and Protestant Bibles use the same word ‘justicia,’ so the doctrinal distinction (see imputed_righteousness) must be carried by teaching notes, not by a different lexical choice.
