Saints
Kutsallar = all believers, corporately, set apart in Christ. Evliyalar carries strong Sufi-folk-Islam connotations of specially graced holy men with shrines and intercessory power; azizler carries similar venerated-figure overtones. Neither should be used for the ordinary corporate ‘saints’ of Romans 1:7.
