Faith
İman is an Arabic loanword shared with Islamic vocabulary, where it denotes assent to the six pillars (Allah, angels, books, prophets, last day, qadar). Romans’ iman is personal trust in Christ specifically; the object of faith must always be stated explicitly in context, not left implicit as in generic Islamic usage.
