Romans 10:9’s confession ‘Jesus is Lord’ = イエスは主です. 主君 (shukun, a feudal-era liege lord) can be a helpful bridge given samurai loyalty-to-lord culture, but risks reducing exclusive divine Lordship to feudal political fealty if used without qualification; avoid 主人 in the ‘husband/master of the house’ sense entirely.
