Resurrection

NEVER use 輪廻転生 (rinne tenshou, the Buddhist cycle of reincarnation). A distinct, non-syncretistic risk here: 復活 is heavily used in ordinary secular Japanese for a band’s ‘comeback,’ a discontinued product’s ‘return,’ or a sports team’s rally — the word is doctrinally correct but rhetorically deflated by pop-culture overuse. Teaching materials must actively restore its weight as a unique, bodily, historical event, not simply supply the correct word.
