Messiah

CRITICAL: مسیح is transliterated directly from Arabic, shared with the Quranic title for Isa (al-Masih). This shared vocabulary must not be mistaken for shared belief: mainstream Islamic theology denies Christ’s divinity, atoning death, and resurrection while still calling him ‘the Messiah.’ This curriculum must build on the shared title while explicitly teaching the very different content Romans gives it.
