‘Církev’ (the institution/community) must be kept distinct from ‘kostel’ (the building). Given generally low religious practice, many readers’ primary association with either word may be architectural or historical/touristic (Czech churches are widely visited as heritage sites) rather than living community, which should be actively corrected in this curriculum.
