This doctrine is a direct flashpoint for Fulani Islamic scholarly tradition, which places unusually strong historical emphasis on strict Tawhid (God’s absolute oneness) and the impossibility of God having a son (echoing Quran 112). Given the depth and prestige of Quranic scholarship in Fulani communities, this objection should be anticipated and addressed directly in teaching materials, not avoided by softening the doctrine.
