Election

suɓagol (‘to choose/select’) is God’s sovereign personal choice. natal (fate, tied to the Islamic concept of al-qadar, divine predetermination) is a legitimate parallel concept but should be introduced only with explicit definition, since Reformed election in Romans 9 is personal and relational, not the more impersonal predetermination associations natal can carry.
