Ruuhu Ceniiɗo must always be used in full. ruuhu alone (an Arabic loanword for ‘spirit/soul/breath’) is broadly ambiguous; jinna/jinnaaji (jinn) name a class of spirit beings widely believed in across West African Islamic and traditional folk contexts and must never be confused with, or used to describe, the Holy Spirit.
