1. The five commissioned doctrines
1.1 Salvation by Grace through Faith — Critical
Supporting passages: Ephesians 2:1-10 (thesis at 2:8-9); Ephesians 1:7.
The letter’s compressed soteriology: dead people are made alive by God, by grace, through faith, not works, so that no one may boast. Every element has a Tamil collision:
| Element | Tamil rendering | Collision | Why Critical |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grace | கிருபை | புண்ணியம் (merit), prapatti surrender | Substitution converts gift into transaction |
| Through faith | விசுவாசம் | பக்தி (bhakti as devotional discipline) | Bhakti is a means/work; faith is receptive trust |
| Saved (perfect tense) | இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள் | Future-aspirational renderings | Multi-lifetime liberation timeline re-enters |
| Gift | ஈவு | வரம் (boon earned by penance/vow) | Boon is merited; gift is not |
| Not of works | கிரியைகளினால் அல்ல | புண்ணியம் framework | The exact framework the verse excludes |
Review routing: human theologian, every occurrence.
1.2 Unity of Jews and Gentiles — High
Supporting passages: Ephesians 2:11-22; Ephesians 3:6.
Christ demolished the dividing wall, abolished the hostility, and created one new man from two peoples — reconciling both to God and to each other in one body (2:16). In Tamil Nadu, where caste remains the deepest social division and the 20th-century Dravidian and Self-Respect movements made caste language politically central, this doctrine reads as a direct claim that no birth-based division survives inside the church.
- புறஜாதியார் (Gentiles) sits near ஜாதி (caste); reviewers must verify the text reads as ending caste-like distinction, never as caste classification (inherited Romans caution, intensified here because the doctrine is this letter’s center).
- The one-new-man creation (2:15) uses creation vocabulary (சிருஷ்டித்து), not social-reform vocabulary: unity is God’s act, not a program.
- Review routing: human theologian.
1.3 The Church as the Body of Christ — High
Supporting passages: Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:4, 4:11-16; Ephesians 5:23-30.
One body, many members, Christ the head from whom growth flows. The specific Tamil risk is the culturally dominant counter-metaphor: the Purusha Sukta (Rig Veda 10.90), where the four varnas emerge ranked from the cosmic Person’s body parts — head to feet as a hierarchy of worth. Ephesians’ body is its inversion: difference of function without rank of worth, every joint supplying growth (4:16).
- சரீரம் (formal register), never a building/institution term; சபை remains the assembly.
- Member-difference language must never map onto rank; gift-lists (4:7-12) are distributions of grace, not statuses.
- Review routing: human theologian.
1.4 Election and Predestination — Critical
Supporting passages: Ephesians 1:4-5, 1:11.
Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world; in love predestined for adoption; working all things according to the counsel of his will. This is the curriculum’s highest-stakes new doctrine because Tamil popular religion offers three ready-made but fatal receptor concepts:
| Forbidden receptor | Meaning | Why fatal |
|---|---|---|
| தலைவிதி | ”Forehead-writing” — fate inscribed at birth | Impersonal, loveless, purposeless script |
| விதி | Destiny/fate | Removes the personal subject (God who chooses) |
| ஊழ் / ஊழ்வினை | Classical Tamil fate / karmic destiny (Thirukkural’s ஊழ் chapter) | Grounds outcome in past deeds, not divine love |
The Tamil rendering must preserve four elements every time: personal subject (கடவுள் chose), sphere (கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்), motive (அன்பில் — in love), and goal (holiness, adoption). Election terminology: தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதல் (inherited); predestination: முன்குறித்தல் (new, established Tamil Bible form). Predestination is a Father’s loving plan, not a script — that sentence is the test every translated segment must pass.
Review routing: human theologian, every occurrence.
1.5 Spiritual Warfare — High
Supporting passages: Ephesians 6:10-18; Ephesians 2:2; Ephesians 4:27; Ephesians 3:10.
Tamil folk religion has one of India’s most vivid living demonologies: afflicting spirits (பேய், முனி, மோகினி), possession and exorcism (மந்திரவாதி), and material protections (தாயத்து amulets, threads, lime-and-ash). Ephesians teaches something structurally different:
- The enemy is defeated first. Christ is already enthroned far above every rule and authority (1:20-22); believers stand (v. 11, 13, 14 — the verb is defensive) in an accomplished victory. Warfare is FROM victory, not FOR it.
- The weapons are gospel realities — truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the word, prayer — appropriated by faith, not objects with intrinsic power. சர்வாயுதவர்க்கம் must never read as a Christianized amulet-set.
- The enemy is not people. “Not against flesh and blood” (6:12) forbids mapping the powers onto other communities or religions — a sentence with real communal-peace consequences in the Indian context.
- The devil (பிசாசு) works primarily by deception (தந்திரங்கள், schemes; 4:27 foothold through unresolved anger and falsehood), not primarily by possession.

3. Doctrine classification notes
- Explicit doctrines: everything in the matrix above is textually explicit except where marked implicit; Ephesians is doctrinally dense and direct.
- Implicit doctrines: the Trinity’s structure (1:3-14; 2:18; 4:4-6) is implicit-but-pervasive — three Persons, one God, never named “Trinity” in the text. Tamil renderings must keep the three Persons lexically distinct wherever the text does.
- Contested doctrines (inter-tradition): election/predestination (Reformed vs Arminian vs Catholic readings), baptism (4:5; 5:26 — mode and efficacy), the fullness/deification language of 3:19 (Eastern Orthodox theosis readings), and the household code’s application. Per the inherited Romans approach, translate what the text says without importing any tradition’s systematizing gloss; contested passages get theologian review plus a translator note where a rendering choice unavoidably leans.
- Secondary doctrines: office structure (4:11) and household-code applications are secondary — important, but mistranslation does not destroy the gospel. They sit at Medium accordingly.
- Essential doctrines: the nine Critical entries are essentials: any of them mistranslated alters the gospel itself for a Tamil reader.
4. Where this letter extends the Romans doctrine registry
| Romans registry doctrine | Ephesians extension |
|---|---|
| Grace (High) | Sharpened at 2:8-9 into the full anti-merit confession; gift-language (ஈவு) added |
| Effectual calling (High) | Expanded into full election-predestination doctrine (1:4-5, 1:11) at Critical |
| Unity of Jews and Gentiles (High) | Moves from olive-tree metaphor to one-new-man creation and dividing-wall demolition — now the letter’s structural center |
| Church as God’s people (Medium) | Elevated: body/temple/household/bride metaphors make ecclesiology High-tier in this curriculum |
| Assurance of salvation (High) | Re-grounded in the Spirit’s seal and down payment (1:13-14) |
| Providence (High) | Intensified to “works ALL things according to the counsel of his will” (1:11) |
| — (not in Romans registry) | Spiritual warfare (6:10-18) — new doctrine domain with its own Tamil folk-religion risk surface |
| — (not in Romans registry) | Fullness/plērōma (Vedantic collision) and mystery/mystērion (esoteric collision) — new Ephesian vocabulary domains |
Critical Risk Doctrines
Salvation by Grace through Faith
Tamil name: கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக்கொண்டு இரட்சிப்பு
Key terms: grace, faith, saved, gift, works, boast
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: Ephesians 2:8-9 sits directly against the karma-merit accounting framework (புண்ணியம்/பாவம்) shared by Tamil Hindu and Jain thought, and against the Sri Vaishnava prapatti framework of ritual surrender. Grace must be கிருபை (never புண்ணியம்), the gift ஈவு (never வரம், a boon earned by penance), works கிரியைகள் (never புண்ணியம்), and ‘you have been saved’ must keep its completed perfect-tense force, never a future multi-lifetime aspiration.
Regeneration and Union with Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவுடனான ஐக்கியத்தில் புது ஜீவன்
Key terms: dead in trespasses, made alive with, raised with, seated with, in Christ
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: the three σύν-verbs of 2:5-6 (made alive with, raised with, seated with Christ) carry the letter’s soteriology; the கூட (‘with’) element must survive in all three, and vivification vocabulary must never drift toward மறுபிறவி (rebirth). Spiritual death must read as a state before a personal God, not a station in a rebirth cycle.
Election and Predestination
Tamil name: தெரிந்துகொள்ளுதலும் முன்குறித்தலும்
Key terms: chose, chosen, predestined, before the foundation of the world, purpose of his will, counsel of his will
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: Tamil popular religion is saturated with impersonal-destiny vocabulary — தலைவிதி (forehead-writing), விதி (fate), ஊழ்/ஊழ்வினை (classical Tamil fate/karmic destiny, treated in Thirukkural). Ephesians 1:4-5 attributes election to the personal love and will of கடவுள், in Christ, with the purpose of holiness and adoption. Every fatalism term is forbidden; the subject must stay personal, the motive love. Highest-stakes new vocabulary in this curriculum.
Exaltation and Session of Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் உயர்த்தப்படுதல்
Key terms: seated at his right hand, far above all rule and authority, all things under his feet, ascended
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: Christ enthroned far above EVERY rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name named — in a religious landscape of many enthroned deities, the universal supremacy claim must not be softened into ‘a great lord among lords’. Grounds both assurance (2:6) and spiritual warfare (6:10-12).
Deity of Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் தெய்வத்துவம்
Key terms: Lord, one Lord, kingdom of Christ and of God, fullness of him
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: connects directly to the God-word decision (கடவுள் over தேவன்) inherited from the Romans package. Ephesians 5:5’s single kingdom ‘of Christ and of God’ and 4:5’s ‘one Lord’ must present Christ’s deity as unambiguously monotheistic — never one divine figure within a pantheon or avatar lineage.
Resurrection of Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்த்தெழுதல்
Key terms: raised him from the dead, resurrection, power
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: inherited convention — உயிர்த்தெழுதல், never மறுபிறவி (rebirth, shared by Tamil Hindu and Jain frameworks). In Ephesians the stakes double: believers are raised WITH Christ, so any rebirth-drift corrupts both Christology and soteriology at once.
Redemption through Christ’s Blood
Tamil name: இரத்தத்தினாலே மீட்பு
Key terms: redemption, blood, forgiveness of trespasses, brought near
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: மீட்பு (ransom-release), never விடுதலை (moksha-adjacent and politically loaded Dravidian-movement liberation vocabulary) or முக்தி. Christ’s blood is a once-for-all self-given sacrifice — never framed like the recurring appeasement offerings of village Amman shrines.
Personhood and Sealing Work of the Holy Spirit
Tamil name: பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் ஆளத்துவம்
Key terms: sealed with the Holy Spirit, grieve the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, access in one Spirit
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: inherited rule — பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர், never பிரம்மம் (Brahman) or பரமாத்மா (universal Self). Ephesians 4:30 (‘do not grieve the Spirit’) is a decisive personhood text: an impersonal force cannot be grieved. 5:18’s filling is personal indwelling, not absorption into a world-spirit.
Lordship of Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் கர்த்தத்துவம்
Key terms: Lord, one Lord, in the Lord
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: inherited convention — கர்த்தர், exclusive and supreme, never எஜமான் (household master). 4:5’s ‘one Lord’ excludes henotheistic accommodation.
High Risk Doctrines
Unity of Jews and Gentiles (One New Man)
Tamil name: யூதர்களுக்கும் புறஜாதியாருக்கும் இடையேயான ஒற்றுமை
Key terms: one new man, middle wall of partition, both one, fellow citizens, fellow heirs, brought near
Review routing: Human theologian
Ephesians 2:14-16 demolishes the dividing wall and creates ONE new humanity — in Tamil Nadu this is a direct, live anti-caste-hierarchy claim, sharpened by the state’s Dravidian and Self-Respect political history. புறஜாதியார் sits near ஜாதி (caste) in form; the text must read as ENDING caste-like distinction in Christ, never as a caste classification. Retain unqualified universality.
The Church as the Body of Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் சரீரமாகிய சபை
Key terms: body of Christ, one body, members, joined and knit together, grows
Review routing: Human theologian
The body metaphor must carry difference-without-rank. The culturally dominant body-image is the Purusha Sukta, where the four varnas emerge RANKED from the cosmic Person’s body parts; Ephesians’ body has diverse members of equal worth under one head. Member-difference must never read as caste-like rank, and the church must remain an organism (சபை), never a building or institution.
The Church as God’s Temple and Dwelling
Tamil name: கடவுளுடைய ஆலயமாகிய சபை
Key terms: holy temple, dwelling place of God, cornerstone, foundation of the apostles and prophets
Review routing: Human theologian
ஆலயம், never கோவில் (Hindu temple). In temple-dense Tamil Nadu the doctrinal point — God’s dwelling is now a people indwelt by the Spirit, not a consecrated building housing a deity image — is load-bearing and must not be blurred by temple-cult vocabulary.
Headship of Christ
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் தலைமைத்துவம்
Key terms: head, head over all things, grow up into him who is the head
Review routing: Human theologian
தலை must keep both authority AND organic union (the body grows FROM the head, 4:16). In 5:23 the husband-parallel must always travel with the savior-of-the-body clause and 5:25’s self-sacrificial love, or headship collapses into cultural male dominance.
Spiritual Warfare
Tamil name: ஆவிக்குரிய போராட்டம்
Key terms: armor of God, stand against, schemes of the devil, not against flesh and blood, principalities, powers, shield of faith, sword of the Spirit
Review routing: Human theologian
Tamil folk religion answers spirit-affliction with amulets (தாயத்து), threads, lime-and-ash, and exorcists (மந்திரவாதி). Ephesians 6 must present warfare as standing in Christ’s finished victory (1:20-22) with truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation, the word, and prayer — appropriated by faith, not a Christianized protection-object set. The devil (பிசாசு) is one defeated personal ruler whose weapons are primarily deception, not an afflicting spirit to be ritually managed. Believers’ enemies are NOT other people (‘not against flesh and blood’) — keep that clause sharp.
Grace
Tamil name: கிருபை
Key terms: grace, riches of his grace, grace was given
Review routing: Human theologian
Inherited from Romans package: கிருபை, never புண்ணியம் or ஊழ்வினை பலன். The Sri Vaishnava prapatti debate (Tenkalai cat-grace vs Vadakalai monkey-grace) is a sophisticated comparison point but Christian grace comes through faith in Christ’s finished work, not ritual surrender to a deity. Ephesians’ 12 grace-occurrences make this the letter’s most enforced term.
Faith
Tamil name: விசுவாசம்
Key terms: faith, through faith, shield of faith, one faith
Review routing: Human theologian
Inherited from Romans package: விசுவாசம், never பக்தி (bhakti). In 2:8 the Ephesians-specific subtlety: bhakti functions in Sri Vaishnavism as a devotional MEANS toward liberation, which would re-classify faith as a work — exactly what 2:9 excludes. Faith is receptive trust in a finished work.
Good Works as Fruit of Salvation
Tamil name: இரட்சிப்பின் கனியாகிய நற்கிரியைகள்
Key terms: good works, prepared beforehand, created in Christ Jesus, walk in them
Review routing: Human theologian
The single most merit-vulnerable verse in the curriculum: a karma-framework reader converts 2:10 back into புண்ணியம் accumulation. Works are the God-prepared FRUIT of salvation, never its cause; sentence order and connectives in Tamil must keep works downstream of grace. முன்னதாக ஆயத்தம்பண்ணின (prepared beforehand), never fatalism vocabulary.
Wrath of God
Tamil name: கடவுளுடைய கோபாக்கினை
Key terms: children of wrath, wrath of God comes, sons of disobedience
Review routing: Human theologian
கோபாக்கினை (judicial anger-judgment compound), never bare கோபம் (temper). Tamil village goddess tradition associates divine anger with capricious affliction appeased by vow and ritual; God’s wrath is the settled judicial verdict of the holy கடவுள் against sin, answered at the cross. ‘By nature’ (சுபாவத்தினாலே) excludes karmic-accumulation framing of the condition.
The Mystery of God’s Will (Gentile Inclusion Revealed)
Tamil name: கடவுளுடைய சித்தத்தின் இரகசியம்
Key terms: mystery, made known, revealed, fellow heirs, hidden for ages
Review routing: Human theologian
இரகசியம் must read as a formerly hidden plan NOW OPENLY REVEALED to everyone (3:9), never esoteric initiate knowledge — a live risk given Tamil esoteric categories (மறைபொருள், மறை as a name for the Vedas, guarded Siddhar knowledge). மறைஞானம் forbidden.
Fullness of Christ and of God
Tamil name: கிறிஸ்துவின் பரிபூரணம்
Key terms: fullness, fills all in all, filled to all the fullness of God, stature of the fullness of Christ
Review routing: Human theologian
பரிபூரணம் is established but collides with Vedantic pūrṇam (the complete undifferentiated Brahman). 3:19’s ‘filled to all the fullness of God’ must remain relational indwelling by a personal God, never ontological merger of the soul into the divine. Never pair with merger verbs (கலத்தல்).
Inheritance of the Saints
Tamil name: பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சுதந்தரம்
Key terms: inheritance, obtained an inheritance, guarantee of our inheritance, riches of his glorious inheritance
Review routing: Human theologian
சுதந்தரம் (inheritance) is one letter from modern Tamil சுதந்திரம் (freedom/independence, politically charged vocabulary). Enforce the spelling; flag any back-translation returning ‘freedom’. Inheritance is a guaranteed family possession in Christ, not attainment.
New Creation and the New Self
Tamil name: புதிய சிருஷ்டிப்பும் புதிய மனுஷனும்
Key terms: created in Christ Jesus, one new man, new self, created after the likeness of God, put off / put on
Review routing: Human theologian
New CREATION (சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட) vocabulary, never rebirth (மறுபிறவி) and never self-reformation. The put-off/put-on movement of 4:22-24 is God’s creative act appropriated, not an ascetic self-remaking program in the தவம் (austerity) mold.
Reconciliation
Tamil name: ஒப்புரவாக்குதல்
Key terms: reconcile, one body through the cross, killing the hostility, peace
Review routing: Human theologian
Double object must be preserved: reconciled to God AND to one another in one body — the vertical and horizontal are one act at the cross. In the Tamil context the horizontal dimension is a direct anti-caste-division claim; dropping either dimension guts the passage. Christ HIMSELF is our peace (2:14) — a person, not a state.
Unity of the Spirit (One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism)
Tamil name: ஆவியானவரின் ஒற்றுமை
Key terms: unity of the Spirit, one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father
Review routing: Human theologian
The sevenfold ‘one’ of 4:4-6 excludes religious pluralism — Christianity is not one மார்க்கம் (path) among the Saiva/Vaishnava/other paths. Do not soften the exclusive claims. Unity is Spirit-created across caste and ethnic lines, and is unity, not uniformity.
Sealing of the Spirit and Assurance
Tamil name: முத்திரையிடப்படுதலும் இரட்சிப்பின் உறுதியும்
Key terms: sealed, guarantee, down payment, day of redemption
Review routing: Human theologian
Assurance rests on God’s ownership-seal and the Spirit as அச்சாரம் (earnest/down payment — natively understood Tamil commercial vocabulary), not on the believer’s progress. Inherited Romans note applies: no uncertain, gradual, possibly-multi-lifetime progress framework.
God’s Sovereign Plan for the Fullness of Time
Tamil name: கடவுளுடைய சர்வாதிகார திட்டம்
Key terms: plan for the fullness of time, unite all things in him, counsel of his will, eternal purpose
Review routing: Human theologian
A single, linear, purposive divine plan culminating in Christ has no analogue in cyclical Hindu/Jain cosmology (yuga cycles). திட்டம் (plan), never விதி (destiny) or யுகம் framing. God ‘works all things according to the counsel of his will’ (1:11) is personal governance, never ஊழ் (fate).
Medium Risk Doctrines
Adoption into God’s Family
Tamil name: புத்திரசுவிகாரம்
Key terms: adoption, predestined us for adoption, children
Review routing: Native speaker review
Inherited from Romans package: புத்திரசுவிகாரம், full son-status with complete inheritance rights; established vocabulary with relatively low ambiguity. In 1:5 keep adoption attached to its ground (in love, through Jesus Christ).
Christ’s Gift-Offices for Equipping the Saints
Tamil name: சபையை பக்திவிருத்தி செய்யும் ஊழிய வரங்கள்
Key terms: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, equip the saints, grace was given to each
Review routing: Native speaker review
All five offices are Christ’s gifts FOR equipping the saints for ministry — never a spiritual-status hierarchy, and never குரு for any office (inherited rule; the guru-sishya frame flattens gift-office into master-status). மேய்ப்பர் (pastor), போதகர் (teacher), சுவிசேஷகர் (evangelist).
Baptism
Tamil name: ஞானஸ்நானம்
Key terms: one baptism, washing of water with the word
Review routing: Native speaker review
ஞானஸ்நானம் (established Protestant term). Never தீர்த்தம்/sacred-bathing framing — baptism is once-for-all covenant initiation into Christ, not a repeatable purifying bath in the Hindu tirtha pattern.
The Worthy Walk (Christian Conduct)
Tamil name: அழைப்புக்கு தகுதியான நடத்தை
Key terms: walk worthy, walk in love, walk as children of light, walk carefully, no longer walk as the Gentiles
Review routing: Native speaker review
நடத்தல்/நடக்கை transfers naturally. Guard the order: the walk RESPONDS to the calling (4:1 ‘therefore’); ethics are fruit of grace, not merit toward it. Do not use மார்க்கம் (religious path) for the walk metaphor.
Household Code (Marriage, Children, Work)
Tamil name: குடும்ப உறவுகள்
Key terms: submit to one another, wives, husbands love your wives, children obey, fathers do not provoke, bondservants, masters
Review routing: Native speaker review
Keep 5:21 (mutual submission out of reverence for Christ) attached as the heading of the whole code; the husband’s duty is Christ-like self-sacrificial love (5:25) and the master is told he has the same Master (6:9). In a strongly hierarchical, honor-conscious family culture, one-directional servility readings and caste-service readings must be prevented by preserving the reciprocal clauses intact.
Children of Light
Tamil name: ஒளியின் பிள்ளைகள்
Key terms: you were darkness, now light in the Lord, children of light, fruit of light, expose the works of darkness
Review routing: Native speaker review
Note the ontological force: ‘you WERE darkness… now you ARE light in the Lord’ — identity, not just environment. Light imagery is common in Tamil religious contexts (Deepavali, temple lamps, Saiva light-symbolism); the passage’s light is moral-relational union with the Lord, not ritual illumination. Preserve the identity verbs.
Prayer and Intercession
Tamil name: ஜெபமும் பரிந்துபேசுதலும்
Key terms: praying at all times in the Spirit, bow my knees before the Father, access, supplication for all the saints
Review routing: Native speaker review
Inherited from Romans package: direct access to the Father through Christ in one Spirit (2:18), distinct from temple ritual (பூஜை) or petitioning through intermediary figures. Ephesians adds 2:18’s explicit trinitarian access structure — preserve all three Persons.
The Love of God and of Christ
Tamil name: கடவுளுடைய அன்பு
Key terms: great love with which he loved us, rooted and grounded in love, surpasses knowledge, Christ loved the church
Review routing: Native speaker review
அன்பு is deeply resonant Tamil vocabulary — an asset. Single caution: the Saiva formula அன்பே சிவம் (‘love is God’) must not turn 2:4 or 3:19 pantheistic; love is the personal God’s motive and act toward specific people, not an impersonal divine principle.
Forgiveness
Tamil name: மன்னிப்பு
Key terms: forgiveness of trespasses, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you
Review routing: Native speaker review
மன்னிப்பு is clear and established. Preserve the 4:32 order: believers forgive BECAUSE and AS God in Christ forgave them — grace-grounded, not merit-generating. Never let மன்னிப்பு alone stand in for redemption or justification vocabulary (inherited rule).
The Hope of His Calling
Tamil name: அழைப்பின் நம்பிக்கை
Key terms: hope to which he has called you, one hope, without hope
Review routing: Native speaker review
நம்பிக்கை spans hope/trust/wishful optimism in ordinary Tamil; context must carry certain expectation grounded in God’s promise. 2:12 defines the Gentile past by hope’s ABSENCE — keep the contrast sharp.
Low Risk Doctrines

Tamil name: ஸ்தோத்திரம்
Key terms: giving thanks always, thanksgiving, I do not cease to give thanks
Review routing: Automated review
Inherited from Romans package: ஸ்தோத்திரம், warmly established in Tamil Christian usage. No significant doctrinal risk.
