Doctrine Analysis
Doctrine Analysis — Revelation 1–22 (Full-Book Coverage)
This document is the PRD Phase 1 Step 4 doctrine matrix for the Revelation curriculum. It is consistent with, and does not re-tier, assets/doctrine_risk_registry.json (Revelation) — every doctrine name, risk tier, and review-routing assignment below is identical to that registry. This document adds the chapter-by-chapter and section-by-section mapping the registry itself does not spell out: which doctrine(s) are load-bearing in each of Revelation’s 22 chapters, with supporting passages, translation risk notes, and review routing. Chapters that carry no new translation-relevant doctrinal weight are noted explicitly as reviewed, per the full-book-coverage mandate — never silently omitted.
The core passage, Revelation 21:1-8, is the theological anchor of this curriculum and receives a dedicated deep-dive section, but scope is the entire book.

Part 2 — Chapter-by-Chapter Doctrine Matrix
Revelation 1 — Prologue and Vision of the Glorified Christ
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inspiration and Preservation of Prophetic Scripture | 1:1-3 | High | ἀποκάλυψις (ప్రకటన) must be conveyed as an authoritative divine unveiling given to John, not a private mystical experience; opening beatitude (ధన్యుడు, 1:3) is the first of the book’s seven. | Human theologian |
| The Holy Spirit and the Churches | 1:4 (“seven spirits”) | High | ఏడు ఆత్మలు must be glossed as one symbolic sevenfold description of the single పరిశుద్ధాత్మ (Critical, baseline), not seven spirit-beings. | Human theologian |
| Sovereignty of God over History | 1:8 (Alpha/Omega, Almighty) | Critical | First occurrence of సర్వసమర్థుడు; lock rendering here for consistency across all seven later occurrences. | Human theologian |
| Deity and Eternality of Christ | 1:8,17-18 (Alpha/Omega, “the first and the last”) | Critical | Verify ఆల్ఫా, ఓమెగా is identical to the two later occurrences (21:6; 22:13); this is Christ’s first co-equal-deity claim in the book. | Human theologian |
| Return and Reign of Christ | 1:5,7 (“coming with the clouds”), 1:5 (ruler of kings) | Critical | Present, active reign, not solely future; భూరాజులకు అధిపతి must read as a current title. | Human theologian |

| Perseverance and Faithful Witness under Persecution | 2:2-3,10,13,19 | High | ”The one who overcomes” (జయించువాడు) begins its repeated pattern here (2:7,11,17,26); lock the verb root across all nine occurrences through ch.21. | Human theologian |
| The Holy Spirit and the Churches | 2:7,11 (“what the Spirit says to the churches”) | High | Recurring refrain closing each letter; must remain unambiguously పరిశుద్ధాత్మ. | Human theologian |
| Defeat of Satan and Evil | 2:9-10,13 (“synagogue of Satan,” Satan’s throne) | Critical | సాతాను as personal, defeated-in-principle enemy, not an impersonal evil force. | Human theologian |

| Worship of the Lamb | 4:8-11 (Trisagion, 24 elders, living creatures worship God) | Critical | ఆరాధించు’s object (దేవునికి) must be unmistakable; this chapter sets the worship-pattern the Lamb will share in ch.5. | Human theologian |

| Symbolic and Apocalyptic Interpretation | 4:6-9 (living creatures), 4:6 (sea of glass) | Medium | Requires Ezekiel/Isaiah background teaching, not literal-zoo reading. | Native speaker |

| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Worship of the Lamb | 5:6-14 (Lamb worthy, receives worship equal to God) | Critical | Central chapter of this doctrine; 5:13-14’s shared worship of Father and Lamb is the strongest single evidence of Christ’s undiminished deity in the book — must never be softened or split into two separate acts of lesser/greater worship. | Human theologian |
| Deity and Eternality of Christ | 5:6-14 (Lamb), 5:5 (Lion of Judah, Root of David) | Critical | గొఱ్ఱెపిల్ల locked; దావీదు వేరు reuses baseline దావీదు. | Human theologian |

| Worship of the Lamb | 7:9-12 (multitude and elders worship) | Critical | Continues 5:13-14 pattern; salvation belongs to “our God and to the Lamb” (7:10) — reuse baseline రక్షణ exactly. | Human theologian |
| Symbolic and Apocalyptic Interpretation | 7:4-8 (144,000, twelve tribes) | Medium | Numeric symbol; teach as representative completeness, not a literal census, resisting folk-numerological reading habits. | Native speaker |

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints | 9:1-21 (locusts, Abaddon/Apollyon, plagues) | Critical | Continue trumpet-judgment sequence; అగాధం (abyss) as the bound realm of evil, distinct from పాతాళలోకం. | Human theologian |

| The Return and Reign of Christ | 11:15 (“the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord”) | Critical | Programmatic thesis verse; లోకరాజ్యము మన ప్రభువు రాజ్యమాయెను must be locked identically wherever referenced elsewhere in lesson materials. | Human theologian |

| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Assurance of God’s Final Victory over Evil — Defeat of Satan | 12:1-17 (dragon cast down, war in heaven) | Critical | Central chapter; మహాసర్పం/ఆదిమ సర్పము must always pair with 12:9’s own explicit identification (సాతాను, అపవాది) — never leave “serpent/dragon” unqualified given live regional Naga-veneration practice. | Human theologian |
| Perseverance and Faithful Witness under Persecution | 12:11 (“they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony”) | Critical | Thesis-level verse combining గొఱ్ఱెపిల్ల, జయించు-, and సాక్ష్యవాక్యము; lock the full sentence identically wherever quoted in lesson content. | Human theologian |

| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| False Worship and Idolatry | 13:1-18 (beast, image, worship demanded) | Critical | Central chapter; ఆరాధించు’s object (మృగమునకు/దాని ప్రతిమకు) must be stated with total clarity as the wrongly-directed counterpart to ch.4-5’s worship of God/Lamb. | Human theologian |
| Perseverance and Faithful Witness under Persecution | 13:10 (patient endurance under the beast’s power) | High | సహనం as active faithfulness under real threat, not resignation. | Human theologian |
| Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints | 13:8 (book of life), 13:16-18 (mark of the beast) | Critical | Deliberate contrast pair జీవముగల దేవుని ముద్ర / మృగము గుర్తు from ch.7/14 must be visually and lexically preserved. | Human theologian |

|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Church as Bride of Christ | 19:6-9 (marriage supper of the Lamb) | High | గొఱ్ఱెపిల్ల వివాహ విందు; guard Christ’s exclusivity as sole bridegroom against South Indian bhakti bridal-devotion parallels (Āṇḍāḷ, padam-kīrtana tradition). | Human theologian |

| Deity and Eternality of Christ | 19:11-13 (Faithful and True; the Word of God) | Critical | నమ్మకమైనవాడును సత్యవంతుడును must match 3:14/21:5 verbatim; దేవుని వాక్యము kept visibly distinct from generic వాక్యము (Scripture/message) used elsewhere. | Human theologian |

| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Millennial Reign and Interpretive Range | 20:1-6 (thousand years, first resurrection) | Medium | వెయ్యి సంవత్సరాలు lexically simple; lesson framing (not translation) must present the certainty of Christ’s reign without forcing one specific millennial scheme. | Native speaker |
| Assurance of God’s Final Victory over Evil — Defeat of Satan | 20:1-3,7-10 (Satan bound, then finally defeated) | Critical | Final, decisive, non-repeating defeat; distinguish from an ongoing, still-contested cosmic struggle. | Human theologian |
| Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints | 20:11-15 (great white throne, book of life, lake of fire, second death) | Critical | రెండవ మరణం must be explicitly taught EVERY occurrence as one-time, final, and non-repeating — direct counter to the region’s dominant పునర్జన్మ (rebirth) framework, parallel in weight to the baseline’s పునరుత్థానం/పునర్జన్మ caution. గొప్ప తెల్లని సింహాసనం reuses సింహాసనం. | Human theologian |
| Sovereignty of God over History | 20:11-13 (books opened, all judged) | Critical | Universal, certain divine governance. | Human theologian |
Revelation 21 — The New Heaven and New Earth (CORE PASSAGE, 21:1-8)
This chapter contains the curriculum’s theological anchor and receives the deepest treatment in this analysis.
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The New Heaven and New Earth | 21:1-8 (core passage); 21:9-27 | Critical | καινός (“new”) must convey genuinely qualitative, non-repeating renewal — NOT the next turn of a cosmic cycle, given the surrounding saṃsāra/yuga cosmological background in Andhra/Telangana folk religious culture. The thesis verse 21:5 (“ఇదిగో, నేను సమస్తమును క్రొత్తగా చేయుచున్నాను”) must be locked identically across ALL lesson materials referencing it, on the same principle as the baseline’s Romans 1:16-17/8:28 consistency rule. 21:3’s తండ్రి-cognate “God will dwell with them” (నివసించును) requires OT tabernacle background teaching. 21:4 (“no more death, mourning, crying, pain”) is the pastoral heart of the passage and must retain full, unqualified finality. | Human theologian |
| Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints | 21:7-8 (inheritance for the overcomer vs. the list of the excluded, “second death”) | Critical | 21:8’s వేరు జాబితా (idolaters, sorcerers, etc., ending in “the second death”) must be rendered with full doctrinal clarity per ch.20’s second-death caution, without gratuitous harshness toward the specific groups named — the same pastoral standard applied throughout to విగ్రహారాధకుడు. | Human theologian |
| The Church as Bride of Christ | 21:2,9-10 (holy city as bride), 21:9-27 (New Jerusalem described) | High | పరిశుద్ధ పట్టణమైన క్రొత్త యెరూషలేము and వధువు imagery merge in this chapter — the city IS the bride corporately, not a private mystical union; guard against individualistic bhakti-style bridal reading. | Human theologian |
| Unity of the Redeemed from Every Nation | 21:12-14,21 (twelve gates/tribes/apostles), 21:24,26 (nations bring their glory) | High | Use జనములు/జాతులు at 21:24,26 for the full inclusive multitude, distinct from baseline అన్యజనులు; reuses ఇశ్రాయేలు and అపొస్తలుడు for the gates/foundations. | Human theologian |
| Deity and Eternality of Christ | 21:6 (Alpha and Omega) | Critical | Third of three occurrences (1:8; 21:6; 22:13); must match verbatim. | Human theologian |
| Adoption into God’s Family (baseline, extended) | 21:7 (“he will be my son”) | High | దత్తపుత్రత్వం concept; distinguish from the Critical baseline term దేవుని కుమారుడు, which is Christ’s unique title, not a term for adopted believers. | Human theologian |
Revelation 22 — The River of Life and the Epilogue
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The New Heaven and New Earth | 22:1-5 (river of the water of life, tree of life, no more curse, they will see his face) | Critical | జీవజలనది, జీవవృక్షము, ఇక శాపము ఉండదు continue the ch.21 thesis; “no more curse” must be distinguished from folk ancestral/deity-curse-removal ritual practice. Beatific-vision line (22:4) is a high pastoral-warmth passage. | Human theologian |
| Unity of the Redeemed from Every Nation | 22:2 (healing of the nations) | High | జనముల స్వస్థత reuses the inclusive జనములు/జాతులు sense from 21:24,26. | Human theologian |
| The Return and Reign of Christ | 22:7,12,20 (“I am coming soon/quickly”) | Critical | నేను త్వరగా వచ్చుచున్నాను must be locked identically across all three occurrences. | Human theologian |
| Deity and Eternality of Christ | 22:13 (Alpha and Omega) | Critical | Final of three occurrences; must match 1:8 and 21:6 verbatim. | Human theologian |
| Inspiration and Preservation of Prophetic Scripture | 22:6-10 (angel’s testimony), 22:18-19 (do not add or take away) | High | The canonical self-sealing statement reuses baseline ప్రవచనం; must be distinguished from ordinary editorial caution — this is a claim about the book’s divine authority. | Human theologian |
| Grace as the Frame of Redemptive History | 22:17 (Spirit and Bride say “Come”; water of life freely given), 22:21 (grace be with all) | Medium | Bookends 1:4’s opening grace-greeting; కృప reused exactly; the “freely” (ఉచితంగా) register must echo the baseline’s grace-not-merit contrast. | Native speaker |
| Worship and Liturgical Refrains | 22:20-21 (Amen), 22:7,14 (blessed — seventh beatitude) | Low | ఆమేన్ reused exactly per baseline. | Automated |
Part 3 — Full-Book Coverage Confirmation
Every chapter of Revelation (1–22) has been reviewed above. No chapter is silently omitted. Chapters 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 16, and 18 carry comparatively lighter new-doctrine weight relative to the book’s major set-piece chapters (4–5, 12–13, 17, 19–22) but each is explicitly documented above with its own active doctrines, supporting passages, and review routing rather than being passed over. Critical Risk Doctrines
The Sovereignty of God over History
Telugu name: చరిత్రపై దేవుని పరిపాలన
Key terms: throne, almighty_pantokrator, seven_spirits, providence_sovereignty, kingdom_of_world_thesis
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: the book’s most-repeated divine title, παντοκράτωρ, must be rendered సర్వసమర్థుడు, never సర్వశక్తిమంతుడు — the శక్తి root would place God’s total sovereignty in the same lexical family as Andhra Pradesh’s prominent Śākta goddess tradition (Kanaka Durgamma at Vijayawada) at the single most-repeated title in the book. This is a higher-stakes version of the baseline’s existing power_of_god caution, since παντοκράτωρ occurs far more often here than δύναμις θεοῦ does in Romans.
The Return and Reign of Christ
Telugu name: క్రీస్తు తిరిగి రావడం మరియు ఆయన రాజ్యపరిపాలన
Key terms: coming_soon, king_of_kings_lord_of_lords, ruler_of_kings_of_earth, kingdom_of_world_thesis, thousand_years
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: “King of kings and Lord of lords” reuses the baseline’s Critical ప్రభువు and must convey exclusive, non-comparative supremacy; “I am coming soon” (22:7,12,20) must be locked identically at each occurrence. The thousand-year reign (20:1-6) is lexically simple but hermeneutically loaded — lesson content must present the certainty of Christ’s reign without forcing one specific millennial scheme as the only orthodox position, since faithful evangelical interpreters hold a range of views.
Deity and Eternality of Christ (extends baseline Deity of Christ)
Telugu name: క్రీస్తు దేవత్వం మరియు నిత్యత్వం
Key terms: alpha_omega, word_of_god_title, lamb, faithful_and_true
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: the title “Alpha and Omega” is shared verbatim between Father (1:8; 21:6) and Son (22:13) and must be rendered identically all three times as direct evidence of Christ’s co-equal deity — the strongest such evidence in this curriculum. “The Word of God” (19:13) as a personal Christological title must be kept visibly distinct from వాక్యము used generically for Scripture elsewhere in the same book, or the Christological claim collapses into a common noun.
Worship of the Lamb
Telugu name: గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లకు ఆరాధన
Key terms: lamb, worship_proskyneo, worthy, living_creatures, twenty_four_elders, hallelujah
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: ఆరాధించు is the ordinary Telugu verb for temple/deity worship generally, so the object of worship (దేవునికి/గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లకు versus మృగమునకు/దాని ప్రతిమకు/దూతకు) must always be stated unambiguously, since the book’s central ethical drama is precisely the contest over who receives this act. The Lamb’s own worthiness to receive the SAME worship as God the Father enthroned (5:13-14) is the book’s clearest evidence for Christ’s undiminished deity and must never be softened.
False Worship and Idolatry (Beast, Image, Babylon)
Telugu name: అబద్ధ ఆరాధన మరియు విగ్రహారాధన
Key terms: idolaters, beast, false_prophet, mark_of_beast, babylon_great_prostitute, worship_proskyneo
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: విగ్రహారాధకుడు (“idolater”) is doctrinally necessary and must not be softened, but Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are majority-Hindu regions where image/murti worship is a living, normal devotional practice in the extended families of many Telugu Christian learners, including recent converts — every learner-facing use requires human theologian review to ensure doctrinal clarity without gratuitous offense toward believers’ own relatives, following the same pastoral standard the baseline applies to caste sensitivity.
Assurance of God’s Final Victory over Evil (Defeat of the Dragon/Satan)
Telugu name: సాతానుపై దేవుని అంతిమ విజయం
Key terms: dragon_ancient_serpent, devil_satan, overcame_by_blood_of_lamb_thesis, abyss, lake_of_fire
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: Telugu-speaking regions retain a living serpent-veneration tradition (Nagula Chavithi festival, anthill/పుట్ట shrines, Naga-devata worship at many village and temple sites); an unqualified నాగు or plain పాము for “dragon/serpent” risks dignifying the very figure the text unmasks as God’s defeated enemy. మహాసర్పం/ఆదిమ సర్పము must always be paired with the text’s own explicit identification (సాతాను, అపవాది), exactly as 12:9 supplies both symbol and interpretation together.
Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints
Telugu name: దుష్టుల తీర్పు మరియు పరిశుద్ధుల నిర్దోషత్వం
Key terms: great_white_throne, second_death, lake_of_fire, souls_under_altar, book_of_life, wrath
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: “the second death” (2:11; 20:6,14; 21:8) risks being heard through the region’s dominant పునర్జన్మ (rebirth) framework, as though implying an intervening “second life” within a repeating cycle. Lesson content must state explicitly, every time this term appears, that the second death is a ONE-TIME, FINAL, ETERNAL state — the same class of risk the baseline documents for resurrection (never పునర్జన్మ), applied here with equal weight. Additionally, ఉగ్రత (“wrath”) must be taught as judicial and moral, not the capricious, appeasable deity-anger of regional folk-devotional frameworks.
The New Heaven and New Earth
Telugu name: క్రొత్త ఆకాశము మరియు క్రొత్త భూమి
Key terms: make_all_things_new_thesis, holy_city_new_jerusalem, tabernacle_dwell, no_more_curse, river_of_water_of_life, tree_of_life
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL, and the curriculum’s core passage: καινός (“new”) must convey a genuinely qualitative, non-repeating renewal, not the next turn of a cosmic cycle — Andhra/Telangana’s surrounding saṃsāra/yuga cosmology could tempt a reading of “new heaven/earth” as simply the next age in an ongoing wheel rather than a final, once-for-all consummation. The thesis verse 21:5 (“Behold, I make all things new”) must be locked identically across all lesson materials, on the same principle as the baseline’s Romans 1:16-17/8:28 consistency rules.
High Risk Doctrines
The Church as Bride of Christ
Telugu name: క్రీస్తు వధువుగా సంఘము
Key terms: bride, marriage_supper_of_lamb, holy_city_new_jerusalem, twelve_gates_foundations
Review routing: Human theologian
వధువు itself is an ordinary, safe Telugu word for “bride,” but South Indian Vaishnava bhakti poetry (Āṇḍāḷ’s bridal-mysticism, the Kṣetrayya/Annamācārya padam-kīrtana tradition) already has a live “soul as bride of the Lord” devotional convention. This can aid comprehension but risks presenting Christ as one devotional bridegroom among several possible divine bridegroom-figures (e.g. Krishna); the Lamb’s exclusivity as sole bridegroom of the one Bride (the corporate church, not a private mystical union) must be actively guarded in lesson content.
Perseverance and Faithful Witness under Persecution
Telugu name: హింస మధ్యలో సహనం మరియు నమ్మకమైన సాక్ష్యము
Key terms: overcomer_ho_nikon, witness_martys, two_witnesses, patient_endurance, tribulation, come_out_of_her_my_people
Review routing: Human theologian
సాక్షి (witness) must be kept distinct from అమరవీరుడు, a secular/nationalist “martyr-hero” term carrying Indian freedom-struggle connotations rather than biblical testimony-unto-death. ఓర్పు/సహనం (patient endurance) must be translated as active, hope-filled steadfastness, not fatalistic resignation — avoid any wording resembling విధి (“fate”), per the baseline’s existing providence caution, since this doctrine is easily flattened into mere passive suffering in casual religious speech.
Assurance of God’s Final Victory over Evil
Telugu name: కీడుపై దేవుని అంతిమ విజయపు నిశ్చయత
Key terms: overcame_by_blood_of_lamb_thesis, keys_of_death_hades, book_of_life, great_white_throne
Review routing: Human theologian
The assurance is grounded in God’s own settled sovereignty and Christ’s finished victory, not a precarious cosmic balance that could still tip either way — a live pastoral concern given that regional folk-religious cosmology sometimes frames good and evil as locked in ongoing, unresolved struggle. Keys of Death and Hades (1:18) must keep పాతాళలోకం distinct from నరకం/lake of fire per the text’s own later distinction (20:13-14).
Unity of the Redeemed from Every Nation (extends baseline Unity of Jews and Gentiles)
Telugu name: ప్రతి జాతి నుండి రక్షింపబడినవారి ఐక్యత
Key terms: nations_inclusive_sense, twelve_gates_foundations, healing_of_nations, gentiles_jew_gentile_sense
Review routing: Human theologian
This curriculum requires a deliberate refinement of baseline usage: use జనములు/జాతులు for ἔθνη when it names the full inclusive multitude of every redeemed nation together (21:24,26; 22:2), reserving the baseline’s అన్యజనులు strictly for contexts retaining Romans’ specific Jew/Gentile contrast. Collapsing these two senses would blur Revelation’s climactic, positive vision of every nation’s inclusion — a claim with direct historical resonance for Telugu Christian communities descended from 19th-century mass movements seeking exactly this equality, per the baseline’s universal_scope_of_gospel note.
Inspiration and Preservation of Prophetic Scripture (extends baseline Inspiration of Scripture)
Telugu name: ప్రవచన గ్రంథ ప్రేరణ మరియు పరిరక్షణ
Key terms: prophecy, do_not_add_or_take_away, revelation_apocalypse
Review routing: Human theologian
The book’s self-authenticating claim (ἀποκάλυψις, an authoritative divine unveiling) and its closing seal against addition or subtraction must be distinguished from a private mystical vision or from devotional Telugu religious literature that is treasured but does not claim the status of God’s own spoken word — the same distinction the baseline draws for inspiration_of_scripture in Romans, now anchored to this book’s own explicit canonical self-claim.
The Holy Spirit and the Churches
Telugu name: పరిశుద్ధాత్మ మరియు సంఘములు
Key terms: seven_spirits, holy_spirit
Review routing: Human theologian
The symbolic “seven Spirits” (1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6) must be taught explicitly as one description of the single [BASELINE — Holy Spirit, పరిశుద్ధాత్మ, Critical], not seven distinct spirit-beings, to avoid a polytheistic or numerological misreading in a cultural context accustomed to multiple named deities/spirits. The abbreviated liturgical phrase ఆత్మ at 22:17 must remain unambiguous as this same Holy Spirit.
Medium Risk Doctrines
Grace as the Frame of Redemptive History (extends baseline Grace)
Telugu name: విమోచన చరిత్రకు చట్రంగా కృప
Key terms: grace, grace_be_with_all, river_of_water_of_life
Review routing: Native speaker review
The book opens (1:4) and closes (22:21) with కృప, and the water of life is given δωρεάν/ఉచితంగా (freely) at 21:6 and 22:17 — this unmerited-gift register must echo, not merely resemble, the baseline’s grace-not-merit contrast already flagged High-risk for Romans 4:4-5 and 11:5-6; Telugu’s settled grace-hymnody tradition lowers this to Medium risk relative to the baseline’s own High rating, since the vocabulary itself is well established, but internal consistency across both curricula should still be reviewed by a native speaker.
Symbolic and Apocalyptic Interpretation
Telugu name: సూచనార్థక మరియు అపొకలిప్టిక్ వ్యాఖ్యానం
Key terms: revelation_apocalypse, mystery, number_of_beast, armageddon, thousand_years, woman_clothed_with_sun, scroll_and_seal
Review routing: Native speaker review
This is a genre-and-hermeneutics risk rather than a lexical one: numbers (144,000; 666; 1,000 years), colors, and composite creature-imagery must be taught as symbolic communication requiring interpretation, not literal description or speculative date-setting/identity-guessing — a live risk in any culture with strong folk-numerological or astrological habits of reading omens, which exist in the Telugu-speaking regions alongside the Christian tradition.
The Millennial Reign and the Range of Faithful Interpretation
Telugu name: వెయ్యేండ్ల పరిపాలన మరియు దాని వ్యాఖ్యాన వైవిధ్యం
Key terms: thousand_years, first_resurrection
Review routing: Native speaker review
వెయ్యి సంవత్సరాలు is lexically simple and carries no syncretism risk in Telugu; the risk is entirely in lesson framing, since historic evangelical interpreters (premillennial, amillennial, postmillennial) disagree on this passage’s structure while agreeing on Christ’s certain reign. Lesson content, not translation choice, should present this range honestly.
Low Risk Doctrines
Worship and Liturgical Refrains (Hallelujah, Amen, Doxology)
Telugu name: ఆరాధనా పల్లవులు (హల్లెలూయా, ఆమేన్, స్తుతిపాటలు)
Key terms: hallelujah, amen, blessed_beatitude, new_song
Review routing: Automated review
Standard, long-established Telugu Christian liturgical vocabulary shared across every denominational tradition; minimal risk beyond routine consistency checks.
