Бог is the standard, universally recognized term across all Ukrainian Christian traditions and secular usage alike; no competing polytheistic default sense exists. Risk is mainly registerial familiarity flattening the term in casual idiom (‘слава Богу’, ‘дай Боже’), which the wartime religious revival has, if anything, partly reversed compared to more secularized neighboring contexts.
