Grace

فضل is the established Urdu Christian Bible term for unmerited divine favor. رحمت (mercy) is a genuine Quranic divine attribute (al-Rahman, al-Rahim) but in Islamic theology operates alongside a deeds-weighed-at-judgment framework, not apart from merit as Romans requires; رحمت may be used for God’s mercy/compassion generally but not as the primary rendering of grace specifically, to keep the unmerited, apart-from-works sense unambiguous.
