Standard modern Russian Orthodox and Synodal spelling Иисус (with double и). The single-и spelling Исус is associated with Old Believer (старообрядцы) liturgical tradition, a distinct and historically persecuted minority; using it would send an unintended sectarian signal, so Иисус is required throughout.
