Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 each introduce new doctrinally load-bearing vocabulary as tabulated in Section B; recurring baseline terms across all six chapters are consolidated once in Section A rather than repeated per chapter.

Transliteration: kṛpā
Doctrine: Grace
Rejected alternatives: મહેરબાની, કર્મફળ, પુણ્ય, નિર્જરા
Original: χάρις
Category: Salvation
Inherited from Romans package. CRITICAL: must make explicit that grace is unearned and through Christ alone; never નિર્જરા or પુણ્ય. Ephesians usage: central to 2:5,2:8 and explicitly contrasted with ἔργα (works) at 2:9; 1:6-7 names it ‘the riches of his grace.‘
Righteousness
Approved rendering: ન્યાયીપણું
Transliteration: nyāyīpaṇũ
Doctrine: Salvation
Rejected alternatives: ધર્મ, પુણ્ય, સમ્યક્ ચારિત્ર્ય

Transliteration: uddhār
Doctrine: Salvation
Rejected alternatives: મોક્ષ, મુક્તિ, કેવલજ્ઞાન, સિદ્ધત્વ
Original: σωτηρία
Category: Salvation
Inherited from Romans package. CRITICAL: NEVER મોક્ષ, મુક્તિ, કેવલજ્ઞાન, or સિદ્ધત્વ. Ephesians usage: 2:8 names it explicitly as a completed, gifted state (‘you have been saved’); also the ‘helmet of salvation’ (6:17).

Transliteration: punarutthān
Doctrine: Resurrection of Christ
Rejected alternatives: પુનર્જન્મ, ફરી અવતરવું
Original: ἀνάστασις / ἐγείρω
Category: Christology
Inherited from Romans package. CRITICAL: NEVER પુનર્જન્મ. Ephesians usage: 1:20 grounds Christ’s own resurrection-power; is the fixed root for the new compound co-resurrection verbs at 2:5-6, which must never be assimilated to rebirth/reincarnation.
Lord
Approved rendering: પ્રભુ
Transliteration: prabhu
Doctrine: Lordship of Christ
Rejected alternatives: સ્વામી, તીર્થંકર
Original: κύριος
Category: Christology
Inherited from Romans package. CRITICAL DISAMBIGUATION FOR EPHESIANS: in 6:5 and the second κύριος of 6:9, the sense shifts to an ordinary human master/employer and must instead be rendered શેઠ/માલિક (see ‘master_human’ entry) — NEVER પ્રભુ. Every occurrence in 6:5-9 must be individually checked.
Messiah
Approved rendering: મસીહા
Transliteration: Masīhā
Doctrine: Messianic Promise
Rejected alternatives: અવતારી પુરુષ
Inherited from Romans package. CRITICAL: transliterated term; the unique OT-promised deliverer. Ephesians background term for ‘Christ’ (see new entry ‘christ’ for the proper-name transliteration used throughout the letter).

Doctrine: Sanctification
Rejected alternatives: પરમાત્મા, બ્રહ્મ
Original: πνεῦμα ἅγιον
Category: God
Inherited from Romans package. CRITICAL: never પરમાત્મા or બ્રહ્મ. Ephesians usage: uniquely personalizes the Spirit as capable of being ‘grieved’ (4:30) and calls believers to be continually ‘filled’ with him (5:18) — both reinforce his personhood.
Father
Approved rendering: પિતા
Transliteration: Pitā
Doctrine: Adoption into God’s Family

Original: πατήρ
Category: God
Inherited from Romans package. Ephesians usage: 3:14-15 extends fatherhood imagery to ‘every family’ named from him.
Christ

Transliteration: Khrist
Doctrine: Deity and Lordship of Christ
NEW entry for this curriculum, though based on the established proper-name transliteration already fixed in the baseline’s 12_ai_translation_requirements.md (‘Christ = ખ્રિસ્ત’). Used pervasively throughout Ephesians (e.g., 1:1 ‘ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુ’); distinct from મસીહા (Messiah, the OT-promise concept) though referring to the same person — both terms must remain internally consistent and never interchanged carelessly.

Transliteration: rahasya
Doctrine: The Mystery of Christ Revealed
Rejected alternatives: ગુપ્ત જ્ઞાન
Original: μυστήριον
