Doctrine Analysis
Doctrine Analysis — Revelation (Vahiy), Full-Book Coverage
This document is the complete doctrine matrix for Revelation, chapters 1–22. It is fully consistent with assets/doctrine_risk_registry.json: same 23 doctrines, same risk tiers, same review routing. Per the PRD Phase 1 full-book-coverage mandate, every chapter of Revelation is walked through explicitly below (Section B) — chapters that introduce no new doctrine or Critical/High term beyond what has already been logged are noted as “Reviewed — no new doctrine” rather than silently omitted. The core passage, Revelation 21:1-8, is the theological anchor of the curriculum but not its scope; all 22 chapters are analyzed.
Section A — Doctrine Matrix (23 Doctrines)
| # | Doctrine | Turkish Name | Risk | Supporting Passages (this book) | Translation Risk | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Symbolic and Apocalyptic Interpretation | Sembolik ve Kıyamet Edebiyatı Yorumu | High | 1:1; 4:1-11; 7:1-8; 13:1-18; 16:16; 17:1-18; 20:1-10 | Governing methodological doctrine for the whole book. Turkish readers bring rich pre-existing apocalyptic categories (kıyamet/mahşer, Deccal, Mehdi, Ye’cüc-Me’cüc, mizan, sırat). Must avoid both wooden decoding-manual literalism and content-free allegorizing; numbers/colors/beasts rendered concretely, never flattened to abstraction. | Human theologian |
| 2 | Inspiration and Preservation of Scripture | Kutsal Yazıların İlhamı ve Korunması | Critical | 1:1-3; 19:9; 21:5; 22:6; 22:18-19 | Directly engages the tahrif (textual-corruption) objection. The book’s own canon-closing preservation formula (22:18-19) and “faithful and true” divine-speech guarantee (19:9; 21:5; 22:6) are major teaching assets; must not be softened into literary flourish. | Human theologian |
| 3 | The Sovereignty of God over History | Tanrı’nın Tarih Üzerindeki Egemenliği | Critical | 1:8; 4:1-11; 5:1-14; 11:15-18; 21:5-6 | ”Almighty” (Pantokrator) must NEVER render as Kadir/Kadir-i Mutlak (echoes Kadir Gecesi / el-Qādir, risking kader/kudret fatalism forbidden since the Romans baseline). Teach as personal, purposive, covenant-keeping governance, not impersonal decree. | Human theologian |
| 4 | The Deity and Lordship of Christ | Mesih’in Tanrılığı ve Rabliği | Critical | 1:17-18; 4:11; 5:9-14; 19:13; 19:16; 22:8-9 | Sharpest tawhid-engagement point: the Lamb receives the identical worship-worthiness formula given the Father (4:11 / 5:9-14), while an angel explicitly refuses the same worship (19:10; 22:8-9). This asymmetry is the doctrine’s non-negotiable core and must be preserved. | Human theologian |
| 5 | The Return and Reign of Christ | Mesih’in Dönüşü ve Egemenliği | Critical | 1:7; 11:15; 19:11-16; 20:4-6; 22:20 | Christ’s visible, personal, bodily return grounded in his already-accomplished death/resurrection; must not be conflated with a competing eschatological return-figure narrative. Millennium’s contested nature presented with range of legitimate views, not resolved as dogma. | Human theologian |
| 6 | Perseverance and Faithful Witness under Persecution | Baskı Altında Sebat ve Sadık Tanıklık | Critical | 1:9; 2:2-3,10,19; 3:10; 6:9-11; 11:3-12; 12:11,17; 13:10; 14:12; 21:7-8 | FORBIDDEN: şehit (imports Islamic paradise-guarantee + Turkish secular-nationalist martial framing). Required: tanık, with death-for-testimony rendered periphrastically (“tanıklıkları için öldürülenler”). Hypomonē/sabır resonance taught explicitly, distinguished from qadar-resignation. | Human theologian |
| 7 | Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints | Kötülerin Yargılanması ve Kutsalların Aklanması | Critical | 6:9-11; 6:16-17; 14:14-20; 20:11-15; 21:8 | HIGHEST-SENSITIVITY doctrine: “judged according to what they had done” (20:12-13) maps closely onto Islamic mizan/İlliyyin-Sicin. Must clarify destiny is determined by the book of life (grace-received relationship via faith), deed-books as testimony/basis for reward-differentiation, never a competing merit-scale. | Human theologian |
| 8 | Assurance of God’s Final Victory over Evil | Tanrı’nın Kötülük Üzerindeki Kesin Zaferinin Güvencesi | Critical | 12:7-11; 17:14; 19:11-21; 20:7-10; 22:20-21 | Multiple genuine contact points with Turkish-Islamic eschatology (İblis/Şeytan, Deccal-resonant beast figures, Ye’cüc-Me’cüc by exact Qur’anic name) create strong bridge AND high conflation risk. Outcome already secured at the cross (12:11); never presented as contingent. | Human theologian |
| 9 | Worship of the Lamb | Kuzu’ya Tapınma | Critical | 4:1-11; 5:6-14; 7:9-12; 15:3-4; 19:1-8; 22:8-9 | Kuzu (ἀρνίον) is a distinct Greek word from John 1:29’s ἀμνός (Tanrı Kuzusu) naming the same reality; every occurrence must cross-reference that baseline doctrine. Slain-yet-standing Lamb receiving Father-identical worship is the central deity-of-Christ claim. | Human theologian |
| 10 | The Church as Bride of Christ | Mesih’in Gelini Olarak Kilise | Critical | 19:6-9; 21:2; 21:9-11; 22:17 | Gelin has strong positive Turkish wedding-culture resonance but must stay strictly corporate (whole Church), never individualized into a private mystical “marriage.” Bridal garment of “righteous deeds” (19:8) taught as fruit, not ground, of salvation. | Human theologian |
| 11 | The New Heaven and New Earth | Yeni Gökler ve Yeni Yeryüzü | Critical | 21:1-8; 21:22-27; 22:1-5 | CORE PASSAGE DOCTRINE. “Yeni” never equated with entering a pre-existing “cennet” (Islamic Paradise-garden); this is new-in-kind cosmic renewal descending FROM God, not an ascended-to destination decided at an undisclosed future Judgment. Tabernacling presence (21:3) cross-referenced to Incarnation doctrine. | Human theologian |
| 12 | Adoption and Sonship, Consummated | Evlatlığa Alınmanın ve Oğulluğun Tamamlanması | Critical | 21:7 | Redeemed believer’s adoptive sonship, categorically distinct from Christ’s unique, eternal, co-equal Sonship (Tanrı’nın Oğlu) despite cognate vocabulary. Must be distinguished explicitly to avoid inflating believers’ status or diluting Christ’s unique Sonship. | Human theologian |
| 13 | The Seven Churches and the Call to Repentance | Yedi Kiliseye Çağrı ve Tövbe | High | 2:1-29; 3:1-22 | Synagogue-of-Satan polemic (2:9; 3:9) requires the same mandatory anti-generalization discipline as Matthew 23/27:25: strictly a first-century local conflict, never extended to Jewish people collectively. Overcomer-refrain taught as Spirit-empowered perseverance, never self-achieved merit. | Human theologian |
| 14 | God’s Sovereign Plan of History: The Scroll and the Seals | Tanrı’nın Tarih Planı: Tomar ve Mühürler | High | 4:1-11; 5:1-14; 6:1-17; 8:1-5 | Only the worthy, slain-yet-victorious Lamb may open the scroll — extends Christ’s exclusive mediatorial authority (baseline mediator/intercession doctrines). 24 elders and 4 living creatures rendered literally; interpretive options recorded, not adjudicated. | Human theologian |
| 15 | Martyrdom and the Vindication of the Saints | Tanıklık Uğruna Ölüm ve Kutsalların Aklanması | Critical | 6:9-11; 7:13-14; 11:3-12; 20:4-6 | Turkish doctrine name deliberately avoids şehit; teaching material uses periphrastic construction throughout. Blood-washing imagery (7:14) taught as substitutionary, forensic cleansing, never literal ritual blood-magic. | Human theologian |
| 16 | The Beast, the False Prophet, and the Mark of Allegiance | Canavar, Sahte Peygamber ve Bağlılık İşareti | Critical | 13:1-18; 14:9-11; 16:13; 19:20; 20:10 | ”Sahte peygamber” engages the High-risk baseline Peygamber term shared with the exclusive Islamic prophetic category; never commentary on a real religious leader. Beast figures resonate with, but must be explicitly distinguished from, the Deccal tradition. Mark/666 require discipline against tech-identification speculation and folk-numerology. | Human theologian |
| 17 | Babylon and Idolatrous World Systems | Babil ve Putperest Dünya Düzenleri | Critical | 14:6-8; 17:1-18; 18:1-24 | MANDATORY note: Babylon/the great prostitute is a symbolic, composite figure for corrupt, God-opposing world power/culture (historically first applied to imperial Rome). Never applied in teaching material to any specific real contemporary nation, city, or religious/ethnic group. | Human theologian |
| 18 | The Millennium and the Binding of Satan | Bin Yıllık Egemenlik ve Şeytan’ın Bağlanması | Critical | 20:1-6 | Exegetically contested among faithful interpreters (pre-/a-/postmillennial readings). Translate “bin yıl” literally and consistently; present the range of legitimate views, not a single adjudicated scheme. | Human theologian |
| 19 | Gog and Magog: The Final Rebellion | Yecüc ve Mecüc: Son Ayaklanma | Critical | 20:7-10 | SINGLE HIGHEST-PRIORITY RESONANCE POINT IN THE BOOK. Direct Qur’anic name-overlap (Sura al-Kahf 18:94; al-Anbiya 21:96). Turkish readers bring extensive pre-existing eschatological expectations differing in sequence/agency/timeline from Revelation’s own account. Mandatory theologian review noting shared category without conflating narratives. | Human theologian |
| 20 | The Great White Throne: Final Judgment | Büyük Beyaz Taht: Son Yargı | Critical | 20:11-15 | Distinct structural role as the book’s climactic judgment scene immediately preceding ch. 21. Shares the full mizan/İlliyyin-Sicin surface-parallel hazard documented under doctrine #7. | Human theologian |
| 21 | The Universal Scope of Gospel Proclamation | Müjde Çağrısının Evrensel Kapsamı | High | 14:6-7 | Extends Romans 1:16/10:12-13 universal-scope doctrine into apocalyptic vision. Reuse Müjde exactly; retain unqualified universal scope of the proclamation’s audience (every nation, tribe, tongue, people). | Native speaker |
| 22 | Sevenfold and Numerical Structural Symbolism | Yedili ve Sayısal Yapısal Sembolizm | Medium | 1:4; 1:12,16,20; 5:1,6; 21:12-14 | Recurring structural numbers (7, 12) symbolize completeness/covenant-unity, not numerological calculation. Seven spirits (1:4) require mandatory Trinitarian safeguard note distinguishing symbolic-numeric fullness of the ONE Holy Spirit from polytheistic multiplication or angel-conflation. | Native speaker |
| 23 | Distinct Afterlife and Confinement Categories | Farklı Ölüm Sonrası ve Hapis Kategorileri | High | 1:18; 6:8; 9:1-11; 20:1-3,13-15; 21:8 | Three distinct categories (Hades = interim; abyss = temporary demonic confinement; lake of fire = final judgment) must not collapse into one generic “cehennem,” nor map onto Islamic barzakh/kabir azabı, which operate on a different framework. | Human theologian |

New terms: yaşam suyu ırmağı/yaşam ağacı, artık lanet olmayacak, bu peygamberlik sözlerine…eklerse…/çıkarırsa, Rab İsa, gel! This chapter closes both Revelation and the entire nine-book Language Package; the 22:18-19 preservation formula is a major, non-negotiable teaching asset against tahrif. Human theologian.
Section C — Escalation Summary (Consistent with 12_ai_translation_requirements.md Framework)
All 17 Critical-tier doctrines and all 5 High-tier doctrines route to human theologian review for every occurrence, with the sole exceptions of doctrine #21 (Universal Scope of Gospel Proclamation, High but native-speaker-routed per the established Romans-baseline precedent for this doctrine family) and doctrine #22 (Sevenfold Numerical Symbolism, Medium, native-speaker-routed). This yields, across the full 22 chapters: 21 doctrines requiring theologian review, 2 requiring native-speaker review, 0 automated-only — consistent with doctrine_risk_registry.json’s risk_summary (Critical 17, High 5, Medium 1; theologian-review 22 doctrine-entries counting sub-listed duplicates in the registry, native-speaker-review 2, automated-only 0).
No chapter of Revelation is silently omitted from this analysis: chapters 8, 10, and 18 are explicitly logged above as contributing no new doctrine beyond what adjacent chapters already establish, while remaining under the same review routing as their governing doctrine family.
Critical Risk Doctrines
Inspiration and Preservation of Scripture
Turkish name: Kutsal Yazıların İlhamı ve Korunması
Key terms: book_title_revelation, faithful_and_true_formula, words_of_prophecy_do_not_add
Review routing: Human theologian
Directly engages the Islamic tahrif (textual-corruption) objection already flagged Critical in the Romans baseline. Revelation’s own canon-closing preservation formula (22:18-19) and its repeated ‘faithful and true’ divine-speech guarantee (19:9; 21:5; 22:6) are major teaching assets that must be rendered with full force, not softened into a generic literary flourish, since they constitute Scripture’s own claim to guarded textual integrity from the moment of its composition.
The Sovereignty of God over History
Turkish name: Tanrı’nın Tarih Üzerindeki Egemenliği
Key terms: throne, alpha_and_omega, almighty_pantokrator, one_who_is_was_coming, scroll_seven_seals, making_all_things_new, it_is_done_gegonen
Review routing: Human theologian
The Almighty title must NEVER use ‘Kadir’ or ‘Kadir-i Mutlak,’ which would echo Kadir Gecesi (Night of Power) and the Islamic divine name el-Qādir, risking a drift toward the kader/kudret fatalism the Romans baseline already forbids for providence and election. God’s sovereignty in Revelation must be taught as the personal, purposive governance of a covenant-keeping Father bringing his own promises to completion, not an impersonal fatalistic decree.
The Deity and Lordship of Christ
Turkish name: Mesih’in Tanrılığı ve Rabliği
Key terms: worthy_axios, worthy_is_the_lamb, word_of_god_title, king_of_kings_lord_of_lords, worship_god_alone_angel_refuses
Review routing: Human theologian
The book’s sharpest tawhid-engagement point: the Lamb receives the IDENTICAL worship-worthiness formula given to God the Father (4:11 and 5:9-14 are structurally parallel), while an angel explicitly refuses the same worship offered to it (19:10; 22:8-9). This asymmetry must be preserved and taught explicitly as a direct affirmation of Christ’s full, undiminished deity, continuing the Critical-tier deity-of-Christ engagement already established across every prior book in this Language Package (Philippians 2:6; Colossians 2:9; John 1:1; 20:28).
The Return and Reign of Christ
Turkish name: Mesih’in Dönüşü ve Egemenliği
Key terms: kingdom_of_the_world_becomes_christs, thousand_years_millennium, king_of_kings_lord_of_lords, come_lord_jesus
Review routing: Human theologian
Christ’s visible, personal, bodily return and consummated reign must be taught as a certain future event grounded in his already-accomplished death and resurrection, not conflated with any competing eschatological return-figure narrative. The millennium’s contested nature (20:2-7) must be presented with the range of legitimate historic Christian interpretive views rather than resolved as settled dogma.
Perseverance and Faithful Witness under Persecution
Turkish name: Baskı Altında Sebat ve Sadık Tanıklık
Key terms: one_who_overcomes, testimony_witness_martyr, patient_endurance, two_witnesses, tribulation, great_tribulation
Review routing: Human theologian
FORBIDDEN: şehit for μάρτυς/testimony-death vocabulary. Şehit carries both a specific Islamic theological guarantee of automatic paradise-entry for one who dies in Allah’s path and a powerful secular-nationalist meaning (state-honored fallen soldiers/police), neither of which matches μάρτυς’s plain sense of ‘witness/testifier.’ Required rendering is tanık, with death-for-testimony described periphrastically. Separately, ὑπομονή (patient endurance) resonates genuinely with the celebrated Islamic virtue of sabır, a real point of contact, but must be taught as active, Christ-directed covenant-faithfulness while awaiting his certain return, not fatalistic resignation to qadar.
Judgment of the Wicked and Vindication of the Saints
Turkish name: Kötülerin Yargılanması ve Kutsalların Aklanması
Key terms: wrath_of_the_lamb, souls_under_the_altar, great_white_throne, books_opened_book_of_life, lake_of_fire_and_sulfur, second_death, excluded_vice_list
Review routing: Human theologian
HIGHEST-SENSITIVITY DOCTRINE IN THE BOOK: the great-white-throne judgment ‘according to what they had done’ (20:12-13), read carelessly, maps almost exactly onto the Islamic mizan (deeds-weighing scale) and the recording-books of İlliyyin/Sicin — a genuinely close surface parallel unmatched elsewhere in this Language Package. Teaching material MUST clarify that final destiny is determined by whether one’s name is written in the book of life (a matter of grace-received relationship through faith, per the established Doğruluk/Aklanma doctrine), with the deed-books functioning as testimony/basis for accountability and reward-differentiation, NOT as a competing merit-scale substituting for that relationship.
Assurance of God’s Final Victory over Evil
Turkish name: Tanrı’nın Kötülük Üzerindeki Kesin Zaferinin Güvencesi

Multiple genuine points of contact with Turkish-Islamic eschatology (İblis/Şeytan as a real personal evil being; Deccal as a climactic deceiver figure; Ye’cüc ve Me’cüc by exact Qur’anic name) make this doctrine simultaneously a strong bridge and a high conflation risk. Every resonance must be taught explicitly and distinguished from its Islamic counterpart’s differing sequence, agency, and timeline (e.g., Revelation’s Gog and Magog uprising follows, and is decisively and immediately crushed after, Christ’s own reign — a different narrative shape than the Islamic Ye’cüc-Me’cüc account). The certainty of the outcome (already secured at the cross per 12:11) must never be presented as still contingent or uncertain.
Worship of the Lamb
Turkish name: Kuzu’ya Tapınma
Key terms: lamb_arnion, as_though_slain, worthy_is_the_lamb, song_of_moses_and_lamb, hallelujah, worship_god_alone_angel_refuses

The Lamb (Kuzu, ἀρνίον) uses a different Greek word from John 1:29’s ἀμνός (Tanrı Kuzusu) but names the same reality; every occurrence must be cross-referenced in teaching material to that established baseline doctrine so readers connect the two rather than treating Kuzu as an unrelated new image. The slain-yet-standing Lamb receiving worship identical to God the Father is this doctrine’s central, non-negotiable deity-of-Christ claim.
The Church as Bride of Christ
Turkish name: Mesih’in Gelini Olarak Kilise
Key terms: bride_nymphe, marriage_supper_of_the_lamb, fine_linen_righteous_deeds, holy_city_new_jerusalem
Review routing: Human theologian
Gelin (bride) enjoys strong positive resonance with Turkish wedding culture and is a genuine teaching asset, but must be kept strictly corporate — the whole Church prepared together — never individualized into a private mystical ‘marriage’ to Christ for each believer separately. The bridal garment of ‘righteous deeds’ (19:8) must be explicitly taught as fruit, not ground, of salvation, guarding against an amel-mizan misreading of the image (her good deeds are her earned dowry).
The New Heaven and New Earth
Turkish name: Yeni Gökler ve Yeni Yeryüzü
Key terms: new_heaven_and_new_earth, tabernacling_of_god, wipe_away_tears_no_more_death, spring_of_water_of_life, river_and_tree_of_life, no_more_curse, no_temple_god_and_lamb

CORE PASSAGE DOCTRINE. ‘Yeni’ (new) must NEVER be rendered or taught as equivalent to entering a pre-existing ‘cennet’ (Islamic Paradise-garden); this is a genuinely new-in-kind cosmic renewal of the whole created order, descending FROM God, not an ascended-to garden-destination decided at an undisclosed future Judgment. God’s tabernacling presence (21:3) must be cross-referenced explicitly to the already-established Incarnation doctrine (John 1:14; Matthew 1:23) as its final, unmediated completion, not an unrelated new image.
Adoption and Sonship, Consummated
Turkish name: Evlatlığa Alınmanın ve Oğulluğun Tamamlanması
Key terms: i_will_be_his_god_he_my_son, overcomer_inherits
Review routing: Human theologian
This is the redeemed believer’s adoptive sonship (2 Samuel 7:14 covenant-formula extended to every overcomer), categorically distinct from Christ’s own unique, eternal, co-equal Sonship (Tanrı’nın Oğlu) despite using cognate vocabulary. Teaching material MUST distinguish the two explicitly; conflating them risks either inflating believers’ status improperly or diluting Christ’s unique Sonship into ‘one son among many,’ the exact reduction the baseline son_of_god entry forbids given the Qur’an 112:3 tawhid tension.
Martyrdom and the Vindication of the Saints
Turkish name: Şehadet(Tanıklık Uğruna Ölüm) ve Kutsalların Aklanması
Key terms: souls_under_the_altar, testimony_witness_martyr, two_witnesses, first_resurrection, washed_robes_blood_of_lamb
Review routing: Human theologian
The Turkish doctrine name deliberately avoids the noun şehit while still needing to name the reality of death-for-testimony; teaching material must use the periphrastic ‘tanıklıkları için öldürülenler’ construction throughout rather than any single noun that would import either the Islamic paradise-guarantee framework or the Turkish secular-nationalist martial framework attached to şehit. Blood-washing imagery (7:14) must be taught as substitutionary, forensic cleansing, never literal ritual blood-magic.
The Beast, the False Prophet, and the Mark of Allegiance
Turkish name: Canavar, Sahte Peygamber ve Bağlılık İşareti
Key terms: beast_from_the_sea, beast_from_earth_false_prophet, mark_of_the_beast, number_of_the_beast_666
Review routing: Human theologian
‘Sahte peygamber’ directly engages the already-High-risk baseline term Peygamber, shared with the exclusive Islamic prophetic category; must never be read as commentary on any real historical or contemporary religious leader. The beast figures resonate with, but must be explicitly distinguished from, the Islamic Deccal tradition. The mark and number (666) require explicit teaching discipline against contemporary technology-identification speculation and folk-numerology superstition.
Babylon and Idolatrous World Systems
Turkish name: Babil ve Putperest Dünya Düzenleri
Key terms: babylon_the_great, great_prostitute_babylon, eternal_gospel
Review routing: Human theologian
MANDATORY teaching note: Babylon/the great prostitute is a symbolic, composite figure for corrupt, idolatrous, God-opposing world-power and culture (historically first applied to imperial Rome). This designation must NEVER be applied in teaching material to any specific real contemporary nation, city, or religious/ethnic group, given the well-documented history of such passages being misused this way in various contexts.
The Millennium and the Binding of Satan
Turkish name: Bin Yıllık Egemenlik ve Şeytan’ın Bağlanması
Key terms: thousand_years_millennium, first_resurrection, dragon_serpent_devil_satan
Review routing: Human theologian
An exegetically and historically contested period among faithful interpreters (premillennial/amillennial/postmillennial readings differ on its nature and timing). Translate ‘bin yıl’ literally and consistently; present the range of legitimate interpretive views in teaching material rather than adjudicating a single scheme as required curriculum dogma.
Gog and Magog: The Final Rebellion

Key terms: gog_and_magog

SINGLE HIGHEST-PRIORITY RESONANCE POINT IN THIS BOOK. These exact names appear directly in the Qur’an (Sura al-Kahf 18:94; al-Anbiya 21:96) as Ye’cüc ve Me’cüc, a major, widely known sign of the Last Hour in Islamic eschatology with extensive hadith development. Turkish readers will recognize this term immediately and bring substantial pre-existing eschatological expectations to it that differ in sequence, agency, and relationship to other figures (Dajjal, Mahdi) from Revelation’s own account (a brief, decisively crushed uprising released after — not before — Christ’s millennial reign). Mandatory theologian review noting the shared category explicitly without conflating the two distinct narratives.

See judgment_of_the_wicked_and_vindication_of_saints doctrine above for the full discussion of this passage’s close and hazardous surface parallel to the Islamic mizan/deeds-recording-books framework (İlliyyin/Sicin). Listed separately here because of its distinct structural role as the book’s own climactic judgment scene, immediately preceding the New Heaven and New Earth of chapter 21.

This is a governing methodological doctrine for the whole book. Turkish readers bring an unusually rich set of pre-existing apocalyptic categories from Islamic eschatology (kıyamet/mahşer, Deccal, Mehdi, Ye’cüc ve Me’cüc, mizan, sırat) that surface repeatedly in Revelation more than in any other book in this Language Package. Teaching material must resist both wooden literalism (treating Revelation as a decoding manual for current events) and content-free allegorizing, while numbers, colors, beasts, and cosmic imagery must be rendered concretely in the Turkish text itself, never flattened into abstract paraphrase.
The Seven Churches and the Call to Repentance
Turkish name: Yedi Kiliseye Çağrı ve Tövbe
Key terms: one_who_overcomes, lukewarm, synagogue_of_satan, key_of_david, crown_of_life
Review routing: Human theologian
The synagogue-of-Satan polemic (2:9; 3:9) requires the same mandatory anti-generalization discipline already established for Matthew 23 and Matthew 27:25: strictly anchored to a specific first-century local conflict, never extended to Jewish people collectively. The repeated overcomer-refrain must be taught consistently as Spirit-empowered perseverance, never self-achieved merit.
God’s Sovereign Plan of History: The Scroll and the Seals
Turkish name: Tanrı’nın Tarih Planı: Tomar ve Mühürler
Key terms: scroll_seven_seals, twenty_four_elders, four_living_creatures

Only the worthy, slain-yet-victorious Lamb may open the scroll and execute God’s plan for history — a direct extension of Christ’s exclusive mediatorial authority already established via the baseline mediator and intercession doctrines. The 24 elders and 4 living creatures should be rendered literally with interpretive options recorded, not adjudicated, per the Symbolic Interpretation discipline.
The Universal Scope of Gospel Proclamation
Turkish name: Müjde Çağrısının Evrensel Kapsamı
Key terms: eternal_gospel
Review routing: Native speaker review
Extends the established universal_scope_of_gospel doctrine (Romans 1:16; 10:12-13) into apocalyptic vision: the eternal gospel proclaimed to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. Reuse Müjde exactly; retain the unqualified universal scope of the proclamation’s audience.
Distinct Afterlife and Confinement Categories (Hades, Abyss, Lake of Fire)

Revelation maintains three distinct categories — Hades (interim realm of the dead), the abyss (temporary demonic confinement), and the lake of fire (final judgment) — that must not collapse into a single generic ‘cehennem’ concept in teaching material, nor be mapped onto the Islamic barzakh (intermediate state) or kabir azabı (grave-torment) categories, which operate on a different theological framework.

Sevenfold and Numerical Structural Symbolism
Turkish name: Yedili ve Sayısal Yapısal Sembolizm
Key terms: seven_spirits_of_god, twelve_gates_tribes_apostles, song_of_moses_and_lamb

Recurring structural numbers (seven, twelve) function symbolically for completeness and covenant-unity, not as an invitation to numerological calculation. The seven spirits (1:4) require a mandatory Trinitarian safeguard note distinguishing symbolic-numeric fullness of the ONE Holy Spirit from any polytheistic multiplication-of-spirits or angel-conflation misreading.
