D. Notes on Highest-Priority New Critical-Risk Terms
স্বৰ্গৰাজ্য (Kingdom of Heaven). The single highest-frequency new term in Matthew (32 occurrences) and a genuinely new risk class beyond the Romans baseline’s Medium-risk ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্য. Every occurrence requires awareness of the Svarga (Indra’s temporary heavenly realm) collision. Recommend a standing translator note template for Phase 2: “স্বৰ্গৰাজ্য names God’s own eternal, sovereign reign breaking into history through Christ — not স্বর্গ (Svarga), the temporary heavenly realm of Hindu cosmology reached by merit and departed from again through rebirth.”
মানুহৰ পুত্ৰ (Son of Man). Requires the Daniel 7:13-14 background note at first occurrence (8:20) in every teaching document, to prevent this title — Jesus’ own most frequent self-designation — from being flattened into a mere statement of ordinary humanity.
উদ্ধাৰ-মূল্য (Ransom), অনন্ত জীৱন (Eternal Life), অনন্ত দণ্ড/অনন্ত জুই (Eternal Punishment). These three terms share a single collision family — the moksha/mukti liberation-from-rebirth concept — and must never be built on the মুক্তি root under any circumstance, consistent with and extending the baseline’s existing prohibition.
আৰাধনা কৰা (Worship of Christ). The clearest single Assamese-language datapoint for the Deity-of-Christ and Lordship-of-Christ doctrines in the entire Gospel (28:9,17); must never be rendered with পূজা.
নিয়মৰ তেজ (Blood of the Covenant). A genuinely new, Assam-specific collision not present in the Romans baseline: the regional Shakta blood-sacrifice tradition centered at Kamakhya. Mandatory translator note required at 26:28.
All fourteen new Critical-risk terms and all High-risk terms in Section B require human theologian review before Phase 2 translation, per the same escalation logic established in the baseline 12_ai_translation_requirements.md. This routing should be formalized in the forthcoming Matthew-specific doctrine_risk_registry.json update.

Doctrine: Jesus’ Relationship to the Law and Tradition
Rejected alternatives: গুৰু-পৰম্পৰা (avoided as direct analogy in teaching notes)
Original: ἡ παράδοσις τῶν πρεσβυτέρων
Category: Law
New for Matthew. 15:2-6. Requires care in a culture where guru-paramparā (unbroken teacher-lineage tradition) itself carries strong independent authority.
Defile
Approved rendering: অশুচি কৰা
Transliteration: oxuci kora
Doctrine: Righteousness Exceeding the Pharisees
Original: κοινόω
Category: Righteousness
New for Matthew. 15:11,18,20. Reinforces the pure-in-heart teaching (5:8): moral/heart purity, not ritual food-purity, is decisive — important for an audience with strong caste/ritual-purity food categories.
Stumbling Block
Approved rendering: বিঘ্ন
Transliteration: bighnô
Doctrine: Discipleship and the Cost of Following Jesus
Original: σκάνδαλον / σκανδαλίζω
Category: Discipleship
New for Matthew. 18:6-9 (implied 5:29-30). No major syncretism risk; retain the strong warning tone against causing another’s spiritual harm.
Lose Find Life
Approved rendering: প্ৰাণ
Transliteration: pran
Doctrine: Discipleship and the Cost of Following Jesus
Rejected alternatives: আত্মা (rejected in this specific idiom — risks a Vedantic ātman/self-realization association)
Original: ψυχή (ἀπολέσει τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ / εὑρήσει αὐτήν)
Category: Discipleship
New for Matthew. 10:39; 16:25. Render ψυχή as প্ৰাণ (life/self), not আত্মা, in this idiom specifically; this text is about self-denying allegiance to Christ, not metaphysical self-realization.
Judge
Approved rendering: বিচাৰ কৰা
Transliteration: bicar kora
Doctrine: Judgment and the End of the Age
Original: κρίνω
Category: Eschatology
New for Matthew. 7:1-5; 19:28. Foundational vocabulary for the Judgment doctrine; here the sense prohibits presumptuous condemnation of others, not a denial that God himself judges rightly.
False Prophet
Approved rendering: ভুৱা ভাববাদী
Transliteration: bhuwa bhabôbadi
Doctrine: False Prophets and False Messiahs
Original: ψευδοπροφῆται
Category: Eschatology
New for Matthew. 7:15; 24:11,24. Built on ভাববাদী negated with ভুৱা (false); must retain deliberate-deception sense, not mere error, especially in the intensifying eschatological discourse.
Magi
Approved rendering: পণ্ডিত
Transliteration: pôndit
Doctrine: Jesus as the Promised Messiah
Rejected alternatives: জ্যোতিষী (rejected — occult/fortune-telling association, per baseline’s prophet entry)
Original: μάγοι
Category: Christology
New for Matthew. 2:1-12. A brief note that God providentially used a star to guide seekers — not that stargazing itself is a legitimate spiritual practice — is recommended.
Scribes Pharisees
Approved rendering: অধ্যাপক / ফৰীশী
Transliteration: odhyapôk / Farixi
Doctrine: Righteousness Exceeding the Pharisees
Original: γραμματεῖς καὶ Φαρισαῖοι
Category: Righteousness
New for Matthew. Throughout; concentrated ch. 23. Avoid rendering অধ্যাপক in a way confusable with a general Brahmin priestly caste category; the critique targets externalized religious performance, not Jewish identity or ethnicity — a safeguard against feeding anti-Jewish sentiment.
Mercy Interpersonal
Approved rendering: দয়া / দয়ালু
Transliteration: dôya / dôyalu
Doctrine: Righteousness Exceeding the Pharisees
Original: ἔλεος / ἐλεήμων
Category: Righteousness
New for Matthew. 5:7; 9:13; 18:33. Consistent with the baseline’s restriction of দয়া to ordinary interpersonal compassion in non-salvific contexts, reserving অনুগ্ৰহ for saving grace.
Reward
Approved rendering: পুৰস্কাৰ
Transliteration: puroskar
Doctrine: Grace and Reward
Rejected alternatives: কৰ্মফল (rejected, per baseline’s grace entry)
Original: μισθός
Category: Discipleship
New for Matthew. 5:12; 6:1-18; 10:41-42; 16:27; 19:29; 20:8. Must be held together with অনুগ্ৰহ (grace) so it is never misread as a merit-transaction of the boon-for-devotion (বৰ) type.

Prophet
Approved rendering: ভাববাদী
Transliteration: bhabôbadi

Doctrine: Compassion and Mercy in Ministry
Original: σπλαγχνίζομαι
Category: Kingdom
New for Matthew. 9:36; 14:14; 15:32; 20:34. No major syncretism risk; note the intensity of the term (deep, gut-level feeling) versus generic দয়া.
Hosanna
Approved rendering: হোচান্না
Transliteration: Hocanna
Doctrine: Jesus as the Promised Messiah
Original: ὡσαννά
Category: Christology
New for Matthew. 21:9,15. Retained transliteration, per established convention for retained liturgical exclamations (cf. আমেন, হাল্লিলূয়া); brief gloss recommended.
Woe
Approved rendering: সন্তাপ
Transliteration: xontap
Doctrine: Righteousness Exceeding the Pharisees
Rejected alternatives: দুৰ্ভোগ (acceptable synonym)
Original: οὐαί
Category: Righteousness
New for Matthew. 23:13-29, the sevenfold refrain. Standard vocabulary; no significant doctrinal risk.
Angel
Approved rendering: দূত / স্বৰ্গৰ দূত
Transliteration: dut / svargôr dut
Doctrine: Jesus as the Promised Messiah (birth/resurrection narrative)
Original: ἄγγελος
Category: Christology
New for Matthew. 1:20,24; 2:13,19; 28:2,5. Distinguish from দূত as already rejected for ‘apostle’ in the baseline; here the base word is acceptable since no apostleship claim is implied.
Eunuch
Approved rendering: নপুংসক
Transliteration: nôpungxôk
Doctrine: Discipleship and the Cost of Following Jesus
Original: εὐνοῦχος
Category: Discipleship
New for Matthew. 19:12. Distinguish from ascetic renunciation vows within the institutionally structured Satra bhakat tradition; this names an individual calling, not entry into a monastic order.
