Core Glossary
Core Glossary — Jude — English → Azerbaijani
This glossary lists every load-bearing theological/lexical term identified in 07_semantic_analysis.md, drawn from all 25 verses of Jude. Terms marked REUSED carry over the exact rendering already fixed in the baseline Romans translation_memory.json and must not be altered. Terms marked NEW require entry into translation_memory.json at the start of Phase 2 processing for Jude, per the Translation Memory Load and Enforcement Instructions in 12_ai_translation_requirements.md.
| # | English Term | Greek (transliteration) | Azerbaijani Rendering | Status | Risk | Verse(s) | Rationale / Collision Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | servant/bondservant | δοῦλος (doulos) | qul | NEW | Medium | 1:1 | Shared with Islamic qul-Allah submission vocabulary; resonance point, but note Jude applies it to Christ, a human-Christ figure occupying the position Islam reserves for God alone. |
| 2 | beloved (in God) | ἠγαπημένοις (ēgapēmenois) | sevilənlər | NEW | Medium | 1:1 | Pairs with REUSED Ata (Father); carries same adoption-relational sensitivity as Romans baseline. |

| 5 | mercy | ἔλεος (eleos) | mərhəmət | NEW | High | 1:2, 21, 22(×2) | Deeply resonant with Islamic Rəhman/Rəhim divine-name theology; must be taught as a certainty grounded in Christ’s finished work, not a hoped-for Judgment-Day outcome. Distinct from REUSED Lütf (grace). |
| 6 | peace | εἰρήνη (eirēnē) | Sülh | REUSED | Medium | 1:2 | Exact reuse from Romans TM. |
| 7 | love (noun) | ἀγάπη (agapē) | məhəbbət | NEW | Low–Medium | 1:2, 12, 21 | Distinct from REUSED Ünsiyyət (fellowship/koinōnia); plain noun for love. |

| 12 | faith | πίστις (pistis) | İman | REUSED | High | 1:3, 20 | Exact reuse; here activates the “body of doctrine” sense alongside the personal-trust sense. |
| 13 | ungodly | ἀσεβεῖς (asebeis) | allahsızlar | NEW | High | 1:4, 15(×3), 18 | Central charge of “Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers”; repetition in v.15 must be preserved, not smoothed away. |

| 15 | judgment/verdict | κρίμα / κρίσις (krima / krisis) | hökm | NEW | Medium | 1:4, 6, 9, 15 | Avoid “məhkəmə” (court-as-institution); keep as verdict/sentence. |

| 47 | rebellion | ἀντιλογία (antilogia) | üsyan | NEW | High | 1:11 | Culturally loaded positive resonance via the Karbala narrative; teaching must clarify rebellion against divinely appointed authority (Moses) is condemned here, unlike righteous-resistance narratives elsewhere in Azerbaijani religious culture. |

| 63 | most holy faith | ἁγιωτάτῃ πίστει (hagiōtatē pistei) | ən müqəddəs iman | NEW compound of two REUSED roots | High | 1:20 | ”Ən müqəddəs” modifies the faith (doctrine), not a class of especially holy persons — guard against an övliyalar-style elite-piety misreading. |
| 64 | keep yourselves (in God’s love) | τηρήσατε (tērēsate) | özünüzü qoruyun | NEW | High | 1:21 | τηρέω thread; pairs human responsibility with divine keeping (v.24) — clarify the relationship in teaching notes. |

Critical Risk Terms
Salvation
Approved rendering: Xilas
Transliteration: khee-LAHS
Doctrine: Assurance of Salvation and Eternal Life
Rejected alternatives: nicat, cənnətə girmək
Original: σωτηρία
Category: Salvation
Inherited from Romans package. Jude 1:3’s ‘common salvation’ is a settled, shared possession assumed as the letter opens, not a deferred hope; must never be softened toward nicat/Imamate-intercession framing.
Holy Spirit
Approved rendering: Müqəddəs Ruh
Transliteration: myoo-kad-DASS ROOKH
Doctrine: Spirit-Indwelling and Apostasy
Rejected alternatives: Cəbrail (archangel Gabriel)
Original: πνεῦμα ἅγιον
Category: God
Inherited from Romans package. Jude 1:19-20: those lacking the Spirit are categorically distinguished from believers who pray ‘in the Holy Spirit’; must be explicitly taught as God himself, the third Person of the Trinity, wherever first encountered in Jude lesson material.
Lord
Approved rendering: Rəbb
Transliteration: RAHBB
Doctrine: Exclusive Lordship and Mastery of Christ
Rejected alternatives: ağa (human master, non-divine)
Original: κύριος
Category: Christology
Inherited from Romans package. Used throughout Jude (1:4, 5, 9, 14, 17, 21, 25); in 1:4 paired with the NEW term Hökmdarımız as a double exclusive title for Christ. Never reduce to ağa.
God
Approved rendering: Allah
Transliteration: ahl-LAHKH
Doctrine: Doxology and God’s Preserving Power
Rejected alternatives: Tanrı (Turkish-package convention)
Original: θεός
Category: God
Inherited from Romans package. Used throughout Jude (1:1, 4, 21, 25); in 1:25 paired with ‘yeganə’ (only) as a strong tawhid-resonant affirmation, to be taught alongside Christ’s mediating Lordship.
Jesus
Approved rendering: İsa
Transliteration: ee-SAH
Doctrine: Exclusive Lordship and Mastery of Christ
Rejected alternatives: bare ‘İsa Peyğəmbər’
Inherited from Romans package. Always paired with Məsih in Jude (İsa Məsih); see the NEW compound entry jesus_christ below for the fixed combined rendering used throughout this letter.
Messiah
Approved rendering: Məsih
Transliteration: mah-SEEKH
Doctrine: Exclusive Lordship and Mastery of Christ
Rejected alternatives: sadəcə bir peyğəmbər
Inherited from Romans package. Component of the fixed compound İsa Məsih used throughout Jude; must always carry full Davidic-covenant, atoning-Savior content, not a bare familiar honorific.
Father
Approved rendering: Ata
Transliteration: ah-TAH
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Rejected alternatives: Yaradan (Creator)
Original: πατήρ
Category: God
Inherited from Romans package. Jude 1:1: ‘beloved in God the Father’ (Allah Atada sevilənlər). Teach the relational, adoptive sense directly; never implies literal divine offspring, which tawhid forbids.
Master Sovereign
Approved rendering: Hökmdarımız
Transliteration: hyookm-dah-ruh-MUHZ
Doctrine: Exclusive Lordship and Mastery of Christ
Rejected alternatives: ağa (human master, non-divine)
Original: δεσπότην
Category: Christology
Jude 1:4. Direct Christological title of exclusive divine ownership, always paired with Rəbb as ‘yeganə Hökmdarımız və Rəbbimiz İsa Məsih.’ Must never collapse into a single Rəbb-only rendering (see NWT-style forbidden pattern in 12_ai_translation_requirements.md).
Angels
Approved rendering: mələk(lər)
Transliteration: mah-LAHK(-lair)
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Angels
Original: ἄγγελος
Category: Angelology
Jude 1:6. Direct doctrinal collision with mainstream Sunni and Shia angelology, which teaches angels cannot disobey/sin (unlike jinn). No lexical alternative exists — the gap is doctrinal, not lexical — every occurrence requires explicit theological teaching support, not silent vocabulary substitution.
Savior
Approved rendering: Xilaskar
Transliteration: khee-lahs-KAHR
Doctrine: Doxology and God’s Preserving Power
Original: σωτήρ
Category: Salvation
Jude 1:25. Built on the inherited Xilas root as a direct divine/Christological title; must be used consistently across all Jude lesson material and cross-checked against every other Xilas-root occurrence to prevent drift.
Jesus Christ
Approved rendering: İsa Məsih
Transliteration: ee-SAH mah-SEEKH
Doctrine: Exclusive Lordship and Mastery of Christ
Rejected alternatives: bare ‘İsa’ in doctrinally significant contexts
Original: Ἰησοῦς Χριστός
Category: Christology
Fixed compound built from the inherited jesus and messiah roots; used throughout Jude (1:1, 1:4, 1:17, 1:21, 1:25). İsa must never stand alone in doctrinally significant references.
High Risk Terms
Faith
Approved rendering: İman
Transliteration: ee-MAHN
Doctrine: Faith / Contending for the Faith Once Delivered
Rejected alternatives: etiqad (doctrinal conviction/creed)
Original: πίστις
Category: Faith
Inherited from Romans package. In Jude 1:3 and 1:20, this term additionally activates the ‘body of apostolic doctrine’ sense alongside its established personal-trust sense; must remain distinguishable from etiqad-style bare creedal assent without losing the relational-trust root meaning.
Grace
Approved rendering: Lütf
Transliteration: LYUTF
Doctrine: Grace / Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Rejected alternatives: mərhəmət (mercy), kərəm (Persian-influenced divine generosity)
Original: χάρις
Category: Salvation
Inherited from Romans package. In Jude 1:4, this is specifically the grace the false teachers pervert into a license for immorality; keep distinct from Jude’s separate term for mercy (mərhəmət).
Called
Approved rendering: Çağırılmış(lar)
Transliteration: chah-guh-ruhl-MUSH
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Rejected alternatives: dəvət olunmuş (invited)
Original: κλητοῖς
Category: Salvation
Inherited from Romans package. In Jude 1:1, the effectual call to salvation/sainthood, consistent with the Romans 8:28-30 sense; must not read as an optional, declinable invitation.
Saints
Approved rendering: Müqəddəslər
Transliteration: myoo-kad-dass-LAIR
Doctrine: Contending for the Faith Once Delivered
Rejected alternatives: övliyalar (venerated shrine-figures)
Original: ἁγίοις
Category: Church
Inherited from Romans package. Jude 1:3: all believers corporately, entrusted with the once-for-all faith; not an elite class of specially graced figures venerated at shrines.
Holy
Approved rendering: Müqəddəs
Transliteration: myoo-kad-DASS
Doctrine: Contending for the Faith Once Delivered
Rejected alternatives: təmiz (ritually clean)
Inherited from Romans package. Combines with İman in Jude 1:20’s ‘most holy faith’ (ən müqəddəs iman); modifies the body of doctrine, not a class of especially holy persons.
Glory
Approved rendering: Ehtişam
Transliteration: eh-htee-SHAHM
Doctrine: Kept by God and Presented Blameless / Doxology and God’s Preserving Power
Rejected alternatives: nur (Shia Imamate light theology)
Original: δόξα
Category: God
Inherited from Romans package. Used in Jude 1:24 (presented before his glory) and 1:25 (doxology). Explicitly NOT used for the ‘glorious ones’ (δόξαι) of Jude 1:8, which take the separate NEW term əzəmətli varlıqlar to avoid confusing God’s own glory with reviled celestial beings.
Abba
Approved rendering: Abba
Transliteration: AH-bah
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Inherited from Romans package. Not present in Jude’s own text, but retained here for cross-document consistency with the Romans 8:15 usage, since both curricula share the Ata/adoption doctrinal thread.
Sin
Approved rendering: Günah
Transliteration: goo-NAHKH
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Rejected alternatives: xəta (mistake/error)
Inherited from Romans package (root). Jude 1:15’s günahkarlar (sinners) reuses this root within Enoch’s judgment oracle.
Prophet
Approved rendering: Peyğəmbər
Transliteration: pay-gam-BAIR
Doctrine: Inspiration and Authority of Scripture
Rejected alternatives: falçı (fortune-teller)
Inherited from Romans package (root risk elevated to High in Jude context). Care needed when Enoch’s role is discussed (1:14) not to certify Enoch as a peyğəmbər within the formal Islamic prophetic line via the shared Idris identification.
Prophecy
Approved rendering: Peyğəmbərlik sözü
Transliteration: pay-gam-bair-LEEK suh-ZEW
Doctrine: Inspiration and Authority of Scripture
Rejected alternatives: falçılıq (divination)
Inherited from Romans package (root). Jude 1:14’s ‘peyğəmbərlik etdi’ (prophesied) applies this root to Enoch’s quoted words from the non-canonical 1 Enoch; requires direct theological handling of bounded apostolic citation practice.
Kept Preserved
Approved rendering: qorumaq / saxlamaq
Transliteration: goh-roo-MAHK / sahkh-lah-MAHK
Doctrine: Kept by God and Presented Blameless
Rejected alternatives: stylistic verb variation across occurrences (forbidden)
Original: τηρέω
Category: Preservation
τηρέω thread — the verbal backbone of Jude, occurring at 1:1, 1:6 (x2), 1:13, 1:21, and via the synonym φυλάξαι at 1:24 (rendered qorumağa). MUST use one consistent verb family across every occurrence, both directions (creaturely failure to keep; God’s power to keep), or the letter’s rhetorical structure collapses.
Mercy
Approved rendering: mərhəmət
Transliteration: mar-hah-MAHT
Doctrine: Mercy and Rescue of the Wavering
Rejected alternatives: kərəm (devotional generosity, same as Romans Grace caution)
Original: ἔλεος
Category: Salvation
Jude 1:2, 1:21, 1:22, 1:23. Shares its root with Rəhman/Rəhim, two of the most invoked Qur’anic divine names, an exceptionally crowded semantic neighborhood. Jude anticipates this mercy with settled confidence as the ground of certain eternal life (1:21), not as an appeal pending an uncertain Judgment-Day verdict; this distinction must be taught explicitly at every occurrence.
Contend For The Faith
Approved rendering: mübarizə aparmaq
Transliteration: moo-bah-ree-ZAH ah-pahr-MAHK
Doctrine: Contending for the Faith Once Delivered
Rejected alternatives: möhkəm inanmaq (believe firmly — too passive)
Original: ἐπαγωνίζεσθαι
Category: Faith
Jude 1:3. Preserves the athletic/military effort-metaphor of ἐπαγωνίζεσθαι. Because mübarizə carries political/armed-struggle connotations in Azerbaijani public discourse, always anchor the verb to its explicit object (‘iman üçün’) in the same clause.
Once For All Delivered
Approved rendering: bir dəfə (həmişəlik) verilmiş
Transliteration: beer da-FAH (hah-mee-shah-LEEK) veh-reel-MEESH
Doctrine: Contending for the Faith Once Delivered
Original: ἅπαξ παραδοθείσῃ
Category: Inspiration of Scripture
Jude 1:3. Collides with the widely held progressive/serial-revelation view common across Sunni and Shia tradition; requires a recurring teaching gloss every occurrence, not a one-time fix.
Ungodly
Approved rendering: allahsızlar
Transliteration: ahl-lah-suhz-LAHR
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Rejected alternatives: günahkar (mere sinner, too weak)
Original: ἀσεβεῖς
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:4, 1:15 (x5), 1:18. Names defiant irreverence toward God himself, not ordinary secular ‘irreligious/atheist’ usage. The fivefold repetition in v.15 is deliberate rhetorical emphasis and must be preserved, not smoothed into varied vocabulary.
Marked Out Beforehand
Approved rendering: əvvəlcədən (bu hökmə) təyin edilmiş
Transliteration: av-vel-jah-DAHN boo hyook-MAH tah-YEEN eh-deel-MEESH
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Rejected alternatives: qismət, alın yazısı (fatalistic decree)
Original: προγεγραμμένοι
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:4. Must never be abbreviated to a bare ‘təyin edilmiş’ without the qualifying judicial phrase; must read as God’s purposive foreknowledge operating through the false teachers’ own culpable ungodliness, not impersonal fate.
Pervert Grace
Approved rendering: lütfü pozğunluğa gətirən vasitəyə çevirmək
Transliteration: LYUT-fyu pohz-goon-loo-AH gah-tee-RAHN vah-see-tah-YAH cheh-veer-MAHK
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Rejected alternatives: təhrif (FORBIDDEN — the loaded Islamic term for claimed scriptural corruption)
Original: μετατιθέντες
Category: Salvation
Jude 1:4. NEVER use təhrif as the main verb; it would misdirect readers toward the unrelated scriptural-corruption controversy rather than the moral-theological perversion of grace Jude names. Accept the verbose compound as the cost of avoiding contamination.
Sexual Immorality
Approved rendering: əxlaqsızlıq etmək / cinsi əxlaqsızlıq
Transliteration: akh-lahk-suhz-LUHK et-MAHK / jeen-SEE akh-lahk-suhz-LUHK
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Sodom
Rejected alternatives: zina (FORBIDDEN — Islamic legal hadd-offense category)
Original: ἐκπορνεύσασαι
Category: Sin
Jude 1:7. Avoid zina entirely, paralleling the baseline’s Qanun/şəriət caution; keep this moral-theological, not legal-penal.
Dispute Waver
Approved rendering: mübahisə etmək (v.9) / şübhə etmək, tərəddüd etmək (v.22)
Transliteration: moo-bah-hee-SAH et-MAHK / shoob-HAH et-MAHK, tah-rahd-DOOD et-MAHK
Doctrine: Angelic Boundaries and Restraint / Mercy and Rescue of the Wavering
Rejected alternatives: using one Azerbaijani word for both senses (FORBIDDEN)
Original: διακρίνομαι
Category: Faith
διακρίνομαι is polysemous within Jude itself: ‘dispute/contend’ at 1:9, ‘waver/doubt’ at 1:22. Using the same Azerbaijani word for both erases the doctrinal distinction between Michael’s restraint and the congregation’s pastoral care for doubting insiders.
Korah
Approved rendering: Qorah
Transliteration: goh-RAKH
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Cain, Balaam, and Korah
Rejected alternatives: Qarun (FORBIDDEN as a direct substitute — the Qur’anic wealth-arrogance figure)
Original: Κόρε
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:11. Deliberately transliterated distinct from Qarun (Q28), whom many Muslim commentators identify with Korah but whose narrative foregrounds wealth-arrogance rather than the priestly-authority rebellion Jude has in view; requires a clarifying note.
Rebellion
Approved rendering: üsyan
Transliteration: ews-YAHN
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Cain, Balaam, and Korah
Original: ἀντιλογία
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:11. Carries strong positive resonance in Azerbaijani Shia culture via the Karbala narrative (Imam Hussein’s resistance to Yazid); Jude condemns rebellion against God’s own appointed leader (Moses), the opposite moral valence, and this must be taught explicitly.
Enoch
Approved rendering: Hənuk (Enox)
Transliteration: hah-NOOK (EH-noks)
Doctrine: Inspiration and Authority of Scripture
Original: Ἑνώχ
Category: Inspiration of Scripture
Jude 1:14. Two-layer risk: Islamic tradition identifies the Qur’anic İdris with the biblical Enoch (resonance, but imports its own legend content); and Jude quotes non-canonical 1 Enoch as true prophecy, requiring direct theological handling. Route to human theologian review.
Prophesied
Approved rendering: peyğəmbərlik etdi
Transliteration: pay-gam-bair-LEEK et-DEE
Doctrine: Inspiration and Authority of Scripture
Original: προεφήτευσεν
Category: Inspiration of Scripture
Jude 1:14. Root reused from Peyğəmbərlik; care needed not to certify Enoch as a peyğəmbər within the formal Islamic prophetic line via the shared İdris identification.
Last Time
Approved rendering: axır zaman
Transliteration: ah-KHUHR zah-MAHN
Doctrine: Eschatological Last Days and the Rise of Scoffers
Original: ἔσχατος χρόνος
Category: Eschatology
Jude 1:18. Heavily loaded with Shia Twelfth-Imam-return eschatology. No unloaded substitute exists; pair with a clarifying clause every occurrence distinguishing the NT ‘last days’ (already inaugurated at Christ’s first coming) from popular Mahdist expectation. Flag for theologian review on first occurrence per lesson.
Worldly Minded Soulish
Approved rendering: nəfsani (ruhsuz) insanlar
Transliteration: nafs-AH-nee (rookh-SOOZ) een-sahn-LAHR
Doctrine: Spirit-Indwelling and Apostasy
Original: ψυχικοί
Category: Sanctification
Jude 1:19. Draws a hard doctrinal line (having the Spirit vs. not) that must not blur with the universal ruh-by-creation anthropology common in Islamic teaching; requires direct theological unpacking tied to Müqəddəs Ruh.
Most Holy Faith
Approved rendering: ən müqəddəs iman
Transliteration: AHN myoo-kad-DASS ee-MAHN
Doctrine: Contending for the Faith Once Delivered
Original: ἁγιωτάτῃ … πίστει
Category: Faith
Jude 1:20. Compound of two already-sensitive inherited terms; ‘ən müqəddəs’ modifies the faith (body of doctrine), not a class of especially holy persons — guard against an övliyalar-style elite-piety misreading.
Keep Yourselves
Approved rendering: özünüzü Allahın məhəbbətində qoruyun
Transliteration: uh-zoo-noo-ZOO ahl-lah-HUHN mah-hab-bah-tin-DAH goh-roo-YOON
Doctrine: Kept by God and Presented Blameless
Original: τηρήσατε ἑαυτοὺς ἐν ἀγάπῃ θεοῦ
Category: Preservation
Jude 1:21. τηρέω thread; must use the same qorumaq/saxlamaq root as elsewhere in the letter. Pairs believer responsibility with God’s ultimate keeping (v.24) — teach as complementary, not contradictory.
Guard Present Blameless
Approved rendering: qorumağa
Transliteration: goh-roo-mah-AH
Doctrine: Kept by God and Presented Blameless
Original: φυλάξαι
Category: Preservation
Jude 1:24. φυλάξαι, a τηρέω-synonym; MUST use the same qorumaq verb family as the letter’s whole keeping-motif so the doxology reads as its climactic resolution.
Blameless
Approved rendering: qüsursuz / ləkəsiz
Transliteration: kew-soor-SOOZ / lah-kah-SEEZ
Doctrine: Kept by God and Presented Blameless
Rejected alternatives: Salehlik (FORBIDDEN as a substitute — the forensic-righteousness category is distinct)
Original: ἀμώμους
Category: Preservation
Jude 1:24. Stresses the result (no blemish found) of God’s keeping/presenting work, a sanctification-adjacent category distinct from, though cohering with, forensic Salehlik.
Medium Risk Terms
Peace
Approved rendering: Sülh
Transliteration: SYULKH
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Rejected alternatives: rahatlıq (inner calm)
Original: εἰρήνη
Category: Salvation
Inherited from Romans package. Jude 1:2 salutation blessing: ‘mercy, peace, and love be multiplied.‘
Apostle
Approved rendering: Həvari(lər)
Transliteration: heh-vah-REE
Doctrine: Inspiration and Authority of Scripture
Rejected alternatives: peyğəmbər, imam (Shia infallible-successor sense)
Inherited from Romans package. Jude 1:17: readers are to remember the words spoken by the apostles; guard against Shia Imamate-shaped associations of an infallible successive spiritual authority line.
Servant Of Christ
Approved rendering: qul
Transliteration: GOOL
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Rejected alternatives: xidmətçi (worker/helper, too weak)
Original: δοῦλος
Category: Church
Jude 1:1 self-designation. Resonates positively with Islamic qul-Allah submission vocabulary; teaching note required that Jude applies this title to a human’s relationship to Christ, placing Christ in the position Islamic usage reserves for Allah alone.
Beloved In God
Approved rendering: Allah Atada sevilənlər
Transliteration: ahl-lah ah-tah-DAH seh-vee-lan-LAIR
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Original: ἠγαπημένοις ἐν θεῷ πατρί
Category: God
Jude 1:1. Built on the inherited Ata term; carries the same adoption-relational sensitivity documented in the Romans baseline.
Love Agape
Approved rendering: məhəbbət
Transliteration: mah-hab-BAHT
Doctrine: Divine Calling and the Love of God the Father
Original: ἀγάπη
Category: Church
Jude 1:2, 1:12, 1:21. Distinct from the inherited Ünsiyyət (fellowship/koinōnia); plain noun for selfless, God-oriented love.
Judgment Verdict
Approved rendering: hökm
Transliteration: HYOOKM
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Rejected alternatives: məhkəmə (court-as-institution)
Original: κρίμα / κρίσις
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:4, 1:6, 1:9, 1:15. God’s judicial verdict/sentence; forbid məhkəmə across all occurrences.
Sensuality Licentiousness
Approved rendering: pozğunluq / əxlaqsızlıq
Transliteration: pohz-goon-LOOK / akh-lahk-suhz-LUHK
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Original: ἀσέλγεια
Category: Sin
Jude 1:4. Standard moral-vice vocabulary; no significant collision risk.
Deny
Approved rendering: inkar etmək
Transliteration: een-KAHR et-MAHK
Doctrine: Exclusive Lordship and Mastery of Christ
Original: ἀρνούμενοι
Category: Christology
Jude 1:4. Ensure the object of denial (Christ’s exclusive Master/Lord status) stays explicit in surrounding context.
Saved Exodus Type
Approved rendering: xilas etdi
Transliteration: khee-LAHS et-DEE
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Israel
Original: σώσας
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:5. Verb form of the inherited Xilas root; must be framed as a historical type of deliverance (Exodus), distinct from the settled New-Covenant referent of the noun Xilas.

Approved rendering: iman etməyənlər
Transliteration: ee-mahn et-may-an-LAIR
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Israel
Original: πιστεύσαντας

Sodom And Gomorrah
Approved rendering: Sodom və Homorra
Transliteration: SOH-dom vah hoh-MOHR-rah
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Sodom
Original: Σόδομα καὶ Γόμορρα
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:7. Strong Qur’anic parallel (Lot’s people, Q7:80-84, Q11:77-83) — genuine cross-traditional resonance. Do not soften the sexual-immorality charge into an ‘inhospitality-only’ reading.
Strange Flesh
Approved rendering: başqa cinsdən olan bədənə can atma
Transliteration: bahsh-KAH jeens-DAHN oh-LAHN bah-dah-NAH jahn aht-MAH

Transliteration: ah-bah-DEE ohd
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Sodom
Original: πυρὸς αἰωνίου
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:7. Resonates with Cəhənnəm-fire imagery; clarify Sodom’s fire is a historical ‘sample’ (nümunə) foreshadowing final judgment, not itself the final judgment.
Dreaming False Visionaries
Approved rendering: xəyala qapılanlar
Transliteration: khah-yah-LAH gah-puh-lahn-LAHR
Doctrine: Judgment on Ungodly False Teachers
Original: ἐνυπνιαζόμενοι

Transliteration: BAHSH mah-LAHK mee-kah-EEL
Doctrine: Angelic Boundaries and Restraint
Original: Μιχαὴλ ὁ ἀρχάγγελος
Category: Angelology
Jude 1:9. Mikail is a familiar archangel name in Islamic angelology (resonance point), but his role here (disputing with the devil, appealing to the Lord’s authority) differs from his role in Islamic tradition (sustenance/rain); teaching note required, not a translation change.
Devil
Approved rendering: iblis
Transliteration: eeb-LEES
Doctrine: Angelic Boundaries and Restraint
Original: διάβολος
Category: Angelology
Jude 1:9. Shares its name with the Qur’anic Iblis; the differing origin-narrative (fallen angel vs. defiant jinn) belongs in teaching notes, not the translation.
Cain
Approved rendering: Qabil
Transliteration: gah-BEEL
Doctrine: OT Warnings as Types: Cain, Balaam, and Korah
Original: Κάϊν
Category: Judgment
Jude 1:11. Familiar via the shared Qur’anic Qabil-Habil narrative; brief Genesis-background gloss recommended since Jude’s application is narrower than the full account.
