This glossary consolidates every load-bearing theological term identified in analysis/07_semantic_analysis.md, drawn from the core passage (1 Corinthians 15:1-11) and every chapter of the book, first to last. Terms already fixed in the baseline Romans translation_memory.json are marked Reused and carry their baseline rendering and risk tier unchanged, per the hard rule that established renderings must be reused exactly. Consolidated Critical-Risk Notes for This Curriculum
The following terms/doctrines carry Critical risk and require mandatory human theologian review for every occurrence, on the same tier as the baseline’s treatment of grace, justification, election, and imputed righteousness:
- The Lord’s Supper (κυριακὸν δεῖπνον, τὸ σῶμά μου/τὸ αἷμά μου, κοινωνία τοῦ σώματος/αἵματος — 1 Cor 10:16-17; 11:17-34) — Catholic transubstantiation vs. Reformed real-spiritual-presence vs. Lutheran sacramental union vs. memorial-only readings, all present within the Hungarian Christian landscape. Render literally; do not embellish or flatten.
- Tradition / delivered-received (παραδίδωμι/παραλαμβάνω — 1 Cor 15:1, 3; also 11:2, 23) — Catholic Sacred Tradition vs. Reformed sola scriptura. Render as a fixed, apostolically-authenticated content, without importing either community’s developed doctrine of ongoing tradition.
