0. Purpose and Method
This matrix drives Phase 2 Step 17 review routing. For every doctrine:
- Risk = same tier as
doctrine_risk_registry.json(Critical / High / Medium / Low). - Supporting passages = drawn from the entire book of 1 Peter, not only the core passage (1:3-9).
- Translation risk = the specific Marathi-context collision (Warkari-Hindu bhakti devotionalism, caste/watandari social structures, and Navayana Ambedkarite Buddhist doctrine/social history) that could distort the doctrine if mistranslated.

This document extends the Romans-curriculum doctrine analysis conventions (see baseline 11_doctrine_analysis.md referenced in 12_ai_translation_requirements.md) to the 1 Peter curriculum and must be loaded alongside assets/doctrine_risk_registry.json, assets/translation_memory.json, and assets/bible_term_registry.json before Phase 2 segment translation begins.
Critical Risk Doctrines
The Living Hope of the Resurrection
Marathi name: पुनरुत्थानाची जिवंत आशा

The core passage’s central claim. जिवंत आशा must be anchored to a historical, bodily resurrection event (पुनरुत्थान), never generic optimism, fatalistic expectation, or devotional longing for future darshan of a deity. Because this hope arises through ‘being born again’ (नवजन्म), the same forbidden-term discipline applies as for ‘resurrection’: never पुनर्जन्म, since Marathi readers from Warkari-Hindu backgrounds would hear a reincarnation claim rather than a one-time, Spirit-given transformation of the same person.
New Birth and Regeneration
Marathi name: नवजन्म आणि पुनर्निर्मिती

CRITICAL: दुःख (duḥkha) is the single most important technical term of Buddhist doctrine — the First Noble Truth that all existence is duḥkha, to be escaped through detachment on the Eightfold Path.
