Doctrine Analysis
11 Doctrine Analysis — 2 Timothy
Full-Book Doctrine Matrix | English → Vietnamese
Purpose
This document provides the complete doctrine matrix for 2 Timothy, chapter by chapter, first verse to last. It is fully consistent with assets/doctrine_risk_registry.json: the same 22 doctrines, the same risk tiers, and the same review routing. The core passage (2 Timothy 3:14–4:5) is the theological anchor of the curriculum — the point where Inspiration and Sufficiency of Scripture, Guarding Sound Doctrine, Apostasy and False Teachers, and The Charge to Preach the Word converge — but every chapter of the letter is analyzed below so that no load-bearing content is silently omitted.
Risk tiers follow the baseline Romans definitions:
- Critical — Human theologian review required for every occurrence.
- High — Human theologian review required.
- Medium — Native speaker review recommended.
- Low — Automated review sufficient.
Chapter 1 (2 Timothy 1:1–18) — Charge Renewed Through Grace and Suffering
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grace and God’s Eternal Purpose | 1:9 | High | Grace and calling grounded in God’s purpose “before the ages began,” not human merit foreseen; must preserve baseline grace-merit contrast (never phước đức/công đức/ơn nghĩa). | Human theologian |
| Holy Spirit Empowerment for Ministry | 1:6–7, 1:14 | Critical | Đức Thánh Linh (never bare thần linh); the Spirit-given gift of power, love, self-control contrasted with “spirit of fear/cowardice” (tinh thần nhút nhát) must not read as one folk spirit among many. | Human theologian |
| Second Coming of Christ (The Appearing) | 1:10 | High | ἐπιφάνεια (“sự hiện ra”) — Christ’s one decisive appearing, not a recurring hóa thân-style manifestation. | Human theologian |
| Incorruption and Immortality | 1:10 | High | Death “abolished” (tiêu diệt sự chết) once for all; not a temporary interlude between rebirths. | Human theologian |
| Godly Household Transmission of Faith | 1:5 | Medium | Lois → Eunice → Timothy: genuine personally-owned faith via Scripture instruction, not inherited ritual obligation resembling ancestor veneration duty. | Native speaker review |
| Perseverance under Suffering | 1:8 | High | ”Do not be ashamed… share in suffering for the gospel” — suffering embraced purposefully for Christ, not karmic outworking. | Human theologian |
| Guarding Sound Doctrine | 1:13–14 | High | ”Pattern of sound words” (đạo lành) and “the good deposit” (điều đã được giao thác) entrusted to the Spirit’s guarding; never modeled on reciprocal-debt favor (ơn nghĩa). | Human theologian |
| Faithful Transmission of the Gospel | 1:5, 1:13–14 | High | The content guarded and handed on is fixed apostolic truth, distinct from sage-lineage transmission of accumulated personal insight (Confucian classics, Buddhist sutras). | Human theologian |
Chapter 1 coverage note: All verses reviewed (1:1–18). Opening greeting (1:1–2) and personal remembrance of Timothy’s tears (1:4) contribute relational/epistolary framing but introduce no additional load-bearing doctrinal terms beyond those tabulated above.
Chapter 2 (2 Timothy 2:1–26) — Entrusting, Enduring, and Guarding the Deposit
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Faithful Transmission of the Gospel | 2:2 | High | Four-link chain (Paul → Timothy → faithful men → others); “giao lại” must convey deliberate, guarded handing-on, not informal opinion-sharing. | Human theologian |
| Guarding Sound Doctrine | 2:2, 2:15 | High | ”Rightly handling the word of truth” (ὀρθοτομέω) is interpretive integrity, not rhetorical skill or personal cleverness. | Human theologian |
| Perseverance under Suffering | 2:3, 2:10 | High | Soldier/farmer/athlete images of κακοπαθέω; endurance “for the sake of the elect” — active, faith-grounded steadfastness, not passive resignation or karmic debt. | Human theologian |
| Resurrection of Christ | 2:8, 2:18 | Critical | 2:8 affirms the true resurrection (never đầu thai/luân hồi); 2:18 records Hymenaeus/Philetus’s heresy that “the resurrection has already happened” — must be explicitly flagged as rejected false teaching, never presented neutrally. | Human theologian |
| Divine Faithfulness amid Human Unfaithfulness | 2:12–13 | Critical | ”If we deny him, he will deny us… if we are faithless, he remains faithful” — both the warning and the assurance must be preserved intact; neither may collapse into the other. | Human theologian |
| Union with Christ in Suffering and Glory | 2:11–12 | High | ”Die with him… live with him… reign with him” — future reign flows from union with Christ, not accumulated religious merit or ancestral lineage. | Human theologian |
| Church Purity and Holy Vessels | 2:20–21 | Medium | Household vessels “for honor/for dishonor” picture moral response, not a fixed inherited caste or worth. | Native speaker review |
| Sanctification and Self-Purification | 2:21–22 | Medium | ”Cleanse himself” is cooperative response within the Spirit’s sanctifying work, not self-powered moral cultivation achieving purity independently. | Native speaker review |
| Spiritual Warfare and the Devil | 2:26 | High | ”Escape from the snare of the devil” — a personal spiritual adversary, not impersonal ignorance/delusion or displeased-ancestor misfortune. | Human theologian |
Chapter 2 coverage note: All verses reviewed (2:1–26). The Onesiphorus-style greetings are absent in this chapter (they occur in ch.1/4); vv.14 and 16–17 (gangrene metaphor, quarreling about words) support Guarding Sound Doctrine above and introduce no separate doctrine category beyond the glossary-level “gangrene” term already tracked in 08_core_glossary.md.
Chapter 3 (2 Timothy 3:1–17) — The Last Days and the Sufficiency of Scripture
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apostasy and False Teachers in the Last Days | 3:1–9, 3:13 | High | ”Trong những ngày sau cùng” — linear historical eschatology moving to one consummation, never Buddhist cyclical kalpa ages; “impostor” (kẻ lừa gạt) must cover but not be limited to folk sorcerer/medium figures. | Human theologian |
| Godliness versus Religious Formalism | 3:5, 3:12 | High | ”Form of godliness, denying its power” — tin kính is Spirit-empowered relationship, not outward moral cultivation (đức hạnh) or ritual respectability. | Human theologian |
| Godly Household Transmission of Faith | 3:14–15 | Medium | ”From childhood you have known the sacred writings” — content transmitted is Scripture and gospel truth, not ritual obligation to departed family. | Native speaker review |
| Inspiration and Sufficiency of Scripture | 3:14–17 (core passage) | Critical | θεόπνευστος (“được Đức Chúa Trời soi dẫn”) must never model channeled trance-speech (hầu đồng) or a sage’s/enlightened teacher’s accumulated insight; sufficiency (“trọn vẹn,” “được sắm sẵn đầy đủ”) must not be diluted by placing Kinh Thánh alongside other authoritative sacred texts. Single most doctrinally load-bearing claim in the letter. | Human theologian |
| Guarding Sound Doctrine | 3:14 | High | ”Continue in what you have learned and firmly believed” anchors sound doctrine in Scripture’s sufficiency. | Human theologian |
| Perseverance under Suffering | 3:10–12 | High | Paul’s catalog of persecutions endured and escaped models purposeful endurance, not karmic retribution. | Human theologian |
Chapter 3 coverage note: All verses reviewed (3:1–17), including the full “last days” vice catalog (3:2–5) and the Jannes-and-Jambres reference (3:8–9), which reinforces Apostasy and False Teachers without introducing a separate doctrine category.
Chapter 4 (2 Timothy 4:1–22) — The Charge, the Judgment, and the Crown
| Doctrine | Supporting Passages | Risk | Translation Risk Notes | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Charge to Preach the Word | 4:1–2, 4:5 | High | ”I solemnly charge you… preach the word” — quasi-judicial solemnity (long trọng răn bảo) and authoritative, commissioned proclamation (giảng), not casual personal opinion. | Human theologian |
| Eschatological Judgment | 4:1 | High | ”Judge the living and the dead” — one final, universal judgment by a personal God, explicitly distinct from repeating karmic cycles across rebirths. | Human theologian |
| Apostasy and False Teachers in the Last Days | 4:3–4 | High | ”Itching ears… turn aside to myths” — meaning-based rendering required (not literal “ngứa lỗ tai”); “myths” (truyện huyễn hoặc) must not blanket-dismiss valued Vietnamese legend/epic as a cultural genre. | Human theologian |
| Second Coming of Christ (The Appearing) | 4:1, 4:8 | High | ”His appearing” ties judgment and reward to the one final, visible, bodily appearing of Christ. | Human theologian |
| Assurance of Reward | 4:7–8, 4:14, 4:18 | High | ”Crown of righteousness” flows from grace and God’s own faithfulness (cf. 2:13), never công đức-style merit dispensed proportionally; “the righteous Judge” is personal, not impersonal karmic mechanism. | Human theologian |
| Perseverance under Suffering | 4:5 | High | ”Endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist” closes the perseverance theme begun in ch.1. | Human theologian |
| Gospel to the Nations | 4:17 | Medium | ”That all the Gentiles might hear” — reuses baseline dân ngoại; universal proclamation scope must remain explicit. | Native speaker review |
| Divine Deliverance and Providence | 4:17–18 | Medium | ”The Lord stood by me… will rescue me” — purposive care of a personal God acting in specific history, never số trời or nghiệp. | Native speaker review |
Chapter 4 coverage note: All verses reviewed (4:1–22). The personal travel instructions, greetings, and Alexander-the-coppersmith warning (4:9–15, 19–21) are pastorally significant but introduce no new doctrine categories beyond Assurance of Reward (4:14, “repay according to works”) already tabulated above; the closing benediction (4:22) reuses baseline “Chúa” and “ân điển” without new risk.

Core Passage Concentration (2 Timothy 3:14–4:5)
The core passage carries a disproportionate share of Critical- and High-risk doctrinal weight for the entire curriculum:
- Inspiration and Sufficiency of Scripture (Critical) — 3:16–17, the doctrinal center of gravity.
- Guarding Sound Doctrine (High) — 3:14.
- Godly Household Transmission of Faith (Medium) — 3:14–15.
- Apostasy and False Teachers in the Last Days (High) — 4:3–4.
- The Charge to Preach the Word (High) — 4:1–2.
- Eschatological Judgment (High) — 4:1.
- Second Coming of Christ (High) — 4:1.
Every Phase 2 translation pass over this passage must route to human theologian review; no segment within 3:16–4:2 may be approved by native-speaker or automated review alone.
This document must be loaded alongside assets/doctrine_risk_registry.json and analysis/08_core_glossary.md before any Phase 2 segment translation of 2 Timothy begins.
Critical Risk Doctrines
Inspiration and Sufficiency of Scripture
Vietnamese name: Sự Soi Dẫn và Sự Đầy Đủ của Kinh Thánh
Key terms: θεόπνευστος (God-breathed), γραφή (Scripture), ἄρτιος (complete), ἐξαρτίζω (fully equipped)
Review routing: Human theologian
θεόπνευστος (‘được Đức Chúa Trời soi dẫn’) must never be modeled on channeled trance-speech from Vietnamese spirit-mediumship (hầu đồng) or on a sage’s/enlightened teacher’s accumulated insight (as with Confucian classics or Buddhist sutras, also called ‘kinh’). The sufficiency claim (‘trọn vẹn,’ ‘được sắm sẵn đầy đủ’) must not be diluted by placing Kinh Thánh alongside other equally authoritative sacred texts or ancestral wisdom, a live syncretistic pressure in a plural Vietnamese religious landscape.
Resurrection of Christ
Vietnamese name: Sự Sống Lại của Đấng Christ
Key terms: ἐγηγερμένον ἐκ νεκρῶν (raised from the dead), ἀνάστασιν γεγονέναι (resurrection already happened — heresy)
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: ‘Sự sống lại’ must never be rendered with đầu thai/luân hồi (rebirth/reincarnation within the cycle of samsara). 2 Timothy 2:18 records Hymenaeus and Philetus teaching that the resurrection has already occurred (a spiritualizing denial of the future bodily resurrection); this false teaching must be explicitly marked in translation and teaching notes as a rejected heresy, never presented neutrally, since it directly denies the Critical-risk resurrection doctrine already anchored in the baseline Romans package.
Divine Faithfulness amid Human Unfaithfulness
Vietnamese name: Sự Thành Tín của Đức Chúa Trời và Sự Bất Tín của Con Người
Key terms: ἀρνούμεθα…ἀρνήσεται (if we deny, he will deny), ἀπιστοῦμεν…πιστὸς μένει (if faithless, he remains faithful)
Review routing: Human theologian
Among the most theologically delicate statements in the letter, holding together a real warning against apostasy and an assurance grounded in God’s own unchangeable character. A Vietnamese rendering that over-softens the warning risks implying consequence-free unfaithfulness; one that over-softens the assurance risks making God’s faithfulness conditional on human performance, collapsing into a merit-based framework resembling công đức. Requires theologian review to preserve both halves intact.
Holy Spirit Empowerment for Ministry
Vietnamese name: Sự Ban Năng Lực của Đức Thánh Linh cho Chức Vụ
Key terms: Πνεῦμα Ἅγιον (Holy Spirit), χάρισμα (gift), δύναμις, ἀγάπη, σωφρονισμός (power, love, self-control), πνεῦμα δειλίας (spirit of fear)
Review routing: Human theologian
Đức Thánh Linh must never default to bare thần linh (the broad Vietnamese folk category of spirits and local deities, including tutelary land spirits and ancestor spirits); the Spirit who empowers Timothy’s gift and guards the deposit is the divine, personal third Person of the Trinity, not one spirit-power among the many spirits addressed in folk practice.
High Risk Doctrines
Guarding Sound Doctrine
Vietnamese name: Sự Giữ Vững Đạo Lành
Key terms: ὑγιαίνουσα διδασκαλία (sound doctrine), παραθήκη (the deposit), ὀρθοτομέω (rightly handling), φυλάσσω (guard)
Review routing: Human theologian
‘Đạo lành’ preserves Paul’s health metaphor and must be taught as life-giving, not merely propositionally correct, teaching. ‘Điều đã được giao thác’ (the deposit) must never be modeled on ơn nghĩa, the Confucian-style favor that creates a reciprocal debt already rejected in the baseline for ‘grace’ — here Timothy’s task is guarding a fixed trust intact, not repaying an obligation or increasing a merit-fund.
Faithful Transmission of the Gospel
Vietnamese name: Sự Truyền Lại Trung Tín của Tin Lành
Key terms: παρατίθημι (entrust/hand on), πιστοὶ ἄνθρωποι (faithful men), ἱκανός (competent), ἀνυπόκριτος πίστις (sincere faith)
Review routing: Human theologian
The four-generation transmission chain (Paul→Timothy→faithful men→others; and Lois→Eunice→Timothy) must be taught as a deliberate, guarded handing-on of fixed apostolic content, not an informal or optional sharing of personal religious opinion, and must be distinguished from the transmission of Confucian classics through a sage-lineage or Buddhist sutras through a teacher-disciple lineage, where emphasis falls on the transmitting figure’s own accumulated insight rather than a fixed, externally given divine content.
The Charge to Preach the Word
Vietnamese name: Sự Truyền Lệnh Giảng Lời Đức Chúa Trời
Key terms: διαμαρτύρομαι (solemnly charge), κηρύσσω (preach), λόγος (the Word), εὐαγγελιστής (evangelist)
Review routing: Human theologian
κηρύσσω (‘hãy giảng’) must retain the sense of authoritative, commissioned proclamation on behalf of the One who sent the herald, not casual personal opinion-sharing; ‘Lời’ (capitalized) must be visually and contextually distinguished from ordinary ‘lời nói’ (mere speech) so the reader understands God’s own Word is proclaimed, not the preacher’s.
Apostasy and False Teachers in the Last Days
Vietnamese name: Sự Bội Đạo và Các Giáo Sư Giả trong Những Ngày Sau Cùng
Key terms: ἐν ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις (last days), μόρφωσις εὐσεβείας (form of godliness), γόης (impostor), μῦθος (myths), κνηθόμενοι τὴν ἀκοήν (itching ears)
Review routing: Human theologian
‘Trong những ngày sau cùng’ must be taught within a linear, historical eschatology moving toward one final consummation, never the cyclical, repeating ages (kalpa) of Buddhist cosmology. γόης (‘kẻ lừa gạt’) must be rendered broadly enough to include but not be limited to Vietnamese folk sorcerer/medium figures (thầy pháp, thầy bói) still consulted in everyday practice — the term names any false religious teacher who exploits others’ trust for gain.
Perseverance under Suffering
Vietnamese name: Sự Bền Đỗ trong Sự Chịu Khổ
Key terms: ὑπομονή (endurance), κακοπαθέω (endure hardship), διωγμός (persecution), συγκακοπάθησον (suffer together)
Review routing: Human theologian
Suffering for the gospel (chịu khổ) must be taught as suffering embraced purposefully for Christ’s sake, distinguished from suffering understood as the outworking of impersonal karmic debt (nghiệp) carried over from a previous life — a default explanatory framework for hardship in Vietnamese Buddhist popular belief.
Assurance of Reward
Vietnamese name: Sự Chắc Chắn về Phần Thưởng
Key terms: στέφανος τῆς δικαιοσύνης (crown of righteousness), δίκαιος κριτής (righteous Judge), ἀποδίδωμι κατὰ τὰ ἔργα (repay according to works)
Review routing: Human theologian
The reward-crown (‘mão triều thiên’) must be taught as flowing from grace and secured by God’s own faithfulness (cf. 2:13), never as công đức — Buddhist-style merit accumulated through religious effort and dispensed proportionally. The ‘righteous Judge’ must be understood as a personal divine Judge rendering a specific verdict at a specific future moment, distinct from the impersonal, self-operating law of karmic cause-and-effect (nghiệp) already flagged in the baseline under ‘providence.‘
Union with Christ in Suffering and Glory
Vietnamese name: Sự Hiệp Một với Đấng Christ trong Sự Chịu Khổ và Sự Vinh Hiển
Key terms: συναποθνήσκομεν…συζήσομεν (die with him, live with him), συμβασιλεύσομεν (reign with him)
Review routing: Human theologian
Future reigning with Christ is the direct reward of present Christ-united endurance, not a status earned independently through accumulated religious merit; must be taught as flowing from union with Christ (cf. baseline ‘christian_identity_in_christ’), not from ancestral lineage or personal spiritual achievement.
Eschatological Judgment
Vietnamese name: Sự Xét Đoán Cuối Cùng
Key terms: κρίνειν ζῶντας καὶ νεκρούς (judge the living and the dead), δίκαιος κριτής (righteous Judge)
Review routing: Human theologian
Must be taught as a single, final, universal judgment by a personal God at one definitive future moment, explicitly distinct from the impersonal, repeating cycle of karmic retribution across successive rebirths central to Vietnamese Buddhist cosmology — the same category of risk the baseline flags for resurrection and salvation.
Second Coming of Christ (The Appearing)
Vietnamese name: Sự Hiện Ra của Đấng Christ
Key terms: ἐπιφάνεια (appearing), πᾶσι τοῖς ἠγαπηκόσι τὴν ἐπιφάνειαν αὐτοῦ (all who have loved his appearing)
Review routing: Human theologian
Christ’s appearing must not be modeled on the recurring, multiple manifestations (hóa thân) of a bodhisattva or deity across ages, paralleling the baseline’s caution on ‘incarnation.’ This is one final, visible, bodily appearing of the one Christ, not one instance in an ongoing series of divine manifestations.
Godliness versus Religious Formalism
Vietnamese name: Sự Tin Kính Thật đối lại Hình Thức Tôn Giáo Bề Ngoài
Key terms: εὐσέβεια (godliness), μόρφωσις εὐσεβείας ἔχοντες, τὴν δὲ δύναμιν αὐτῆς ἠρνημένοι (form of godliness, denying its power)
Review routing: Human theologian
‘Tin kính’ must be taught as a Spirit-empowered, transformative relationship with a personal God, not mere outward moral cultivation resembling Confucian virtue-cultivation (đức hạnh, already the rejected alternative for ‘righteousness’ in the baseline) nor ritual religious observance performed for social respectability without inward transformation — a live risk in a culture where outward religious form (temple attendance, ancestral rites) is often the primary visible marker of piety.
Spiritual Warfare and the Devil
Vietnamese name: Cuộc Chiến Thuộc Linh và Ma Quỉ
Key terms: διάβολος (the devil), παγίς (snare)
Review routing: Human theologian
The devil must be presented as a personal spiritual adversary actively ensnaring false teachers and their hearers, distinct from impersonal categories of ignorance or delusion (as in some Buddhist framings of avidya) or from ancestral misfortune/curses attributed to displeased spirits in Vietnamese folk belief.
Grace and God’s Eternal Purpose
Vietnamese name: Ân Điển và Mục Đích Đời Đời của Đức Chúa Trời
Key terms: χάρις (grace), πρόθεσις (purpose), κλῆσις ἁγία (holy calling), πρὸ χρόνων αἰωνίων (before eternal times)
Review routing: Human theologian
Grace given ‘before the ages began’ must retain the baseline’s grace-merit contrast: never phước đức/công đức (Buddhist accumulated merit) or ơn nghĩa (a reciprocal-debt favor). Because this grace and calling are grounded in God’s purpose predating all human history, they must not be reframed as a response to foreseen human virtue or effort.
Incorruption and Immortality
Vietnamese name: Sự Không Hư Nát và Sự Sống Bất Diệt
Key terms: ἀφθαρσία (incorruption/immortality), καταργήσαντος τὸν θάνατον (having abolished death)
Review routing: Human theologian
Must be taught as a single, permanent, bodily immortality secured once for all in Christ’s decisive defeat of death, not confused with a temporary respite between rebirths within the Buddhist cycle of samsara, nor with an impersonal disembodied eternality untethered from bodily resurrection hope.
Medium Risk Doctrines
Church Purity and Holy Vessels
Vietnamese name: Sự Trong Sạch của Hội Thánh và Bình Chứa Thánh
Key terms: σκεῦος (vessel), εἰς τιμήν…εἰς ἀτιμίαν (for honor…for dishonor), ἐκκαθαίρω (cleanse oneself)
Review routing: Native speaker review
The household-vessel image pictures the mixed, visible church community and must be taught as a matter of moral response and self-purification, not a fixed, inherited spiritual worth or caste — a risk given the cultural resonance of hierarchical family/social status categories in Vietnam.
Gospel to the Nations
Vietnamese name: Tin Lành cho Muôn Dân
Key terms: ἔθνη (Gentiles/nations), κήρυγμα (proclamation), ἵνα…ἀκούσωσιν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη (that all nations might hear)
Review routing: Native speaker review
Reuses the baseline’s ‘dân ngoại’ rendering; carries comparatively low direct syncretism risk in the Vietnamese context, but should be taught alongside the Charge to Preach the Word to keep the universal proclamation scope explicit.
Divine Deliverance and Providence
Vietnamese name: Sự Giải Cứu và Sự Quan Phòng của Đức Chúa Trời
Key terms: ἐρρύσατο (rescued), παρέστη καὶ ἐνεδυνάμωσέν (stood by and strengthened), ῥύσεταί με ὁ Κύριος (the Lord will deliver me)
Review routing: Native speaker review
Paul’s testimony of personal, historical deliverance must be taught as the purposive care of a personal God who acts in specific historical circumstances, never as số trời (impersonal fate-dispensing ‘Heaven’) or nghiệp (karma) — reusing the baseline’s caution already established for ‘providence.‘
Godly Household Transmission of Faith
Vietnamese name: Sự Truyền Đức Tin trong Gia Đình Tin Kính
Key terms: ἀνυπόκριτος πίστις (sincere faith), ἀπὸ βρέφους (from infancy), τὰ ἱερὰ γράμματα (sacred writings known from childhood)
Review routing: Native speaker review
Timothy’s faith transmitted through his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice must be taught as a genuine, personally-owned faith received through family instruction in Scripture, not as inherited religious obligation comparable to ancestor veneration duties (thờ cúng tổ tiên) passed down through family lineage; the content transmitted is Scripture and gospel truth, not ritual obligation to departed family members.
Sanctification and Self-Purification
Vietnamese name: Sự Nên Thánh và Sự Tự Thanh Lọc
Key terms: ἐκκαθαίρω (cleanse oneself), δίωκε δικαιοσύνην, πίστιν, ἀγάπην, εἰρήνην (pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace)
Review routing: Native speaker review
The believer’s responsive pursuit of holiness must be taught as cooperating with, not replacing, the Spirit’s sanctifying work (sự nên thánh, already fixed in the baseline); avoid framing as self-powered moral cultivation achieving purity independent of grace.
