Semantic Analysis — Philippians (English → Hindi)
Conventions
- Citation format follows the established Language Package convention: book name in Hindi, Arabic numerals — e.g. फिलिप्पियों 2:6 (Philippians = फिलिप्पियों, BSI OV/NV standard form).
- Every term already recorded in the baseline Romans/Galatians
translation_memory.jsonis reused exactly; this document does not re-argue those entries but flags where Philippians activates a new sense or new collision risk for an existing baseline term. - New terms proposed here will be submitted to
translation_memory.jsonas v4 entries in Step 8 (08_core_glossary.md). - Risk tiers (Critical/High/Medium/Low) follow the definitions in

PART 1 — CORE PASSAGE: Philippians 2:1-11 (Verse-by-Verse)
This passage (the “Christ Hymn”) is the theological anchor of the whole curriculum and of the Kenosis, Unity/Humility, and Lordship-of-Christ doctrines. Every load-bearing term is treated individually.
Philippians 2:1
Εἴ τις οὖν παράκλησις ἐν Χριστῷ, εἴ τι παραμύθιον ἀγάπης, εἴ τις κοινωνία πνεύματος, εἴ τις σπλάγχνα καὶ οἰκτιρμοί
| Term (Greek/translit.) | Literal meaning | Semantic range | English variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| παράκλησις (paraklēsis) | a calling-alongside; encouragement | comfort, exhortation, appeal, urging | ”encouragement,” “comfort,” “consolation” | Paul appeals to whatever encouragement believers have received in Christ as grounds for unity | प्रोत्साहन (protsāhana). Baseline verb form प्रोत्साहित करना (exhort) exists; this is the noun. Low-Medium risk; keep grounded “in Christ” (मसीह में) explicit so it is not read as generic self-help encouragement. |
| παραμύθιον (paramythion) | a speaking-alongside; soothing word | consolation, solace | ”comfort,” “consolation” | The comfort love produces between believers, not a philosophical consolation (contra Stoic paramythia literature Paul’s readers may have known) | प्रेम का समाधान/शान्ति — recommend “प्रेम की शान्ति” (comfort of love). Medium risk: avoid a term suggesting Stoic self-composure rather than relational comfort from others’ love. |
| ἀγάπη (agapē) | love | selfless, covenantal love | ”love” | The love that produces comfort among believers — not general benevolence | प्रेम (prema). Low risk; established Hindi Christian usage, distinct from Hindu prem/bhakti devotional love toward a deity — context (toward fellow believers) sufficiently disambiguates. |
| κοινωνία πνεύματος (koinōnia pneumatos) | shared participation of/in the Spirit | fellowship, joint-sharing, partnership | ”fellowship of the Spirit,” “participation in the Spirit” | Common experience of the one Holy Spirit uniting believers — grounds for unity in 2:2 | Reuse baseline संगति (fellowship) + पवित्र आत्मा. मसीह में एक जैसी संगति / पवित्र आत्मा की संगति. Medium risk: ensure संगति here is not read as merely social camaraderie (baseline caution already on record) but the Spirit’s own unifying work. |
| σπλάγχνα (splanchna) | inward parts, bowels (seat of emotion in Greek idiom) | deep affection, tender compassion | ”affection,” “tenderness,” “bowels of mercies” (KJV) | Deep, gut-level compassion Christians have received and now owe one another | करुणा (karuṇā) or गहरी करुणा. Medium risk: करुणा is a major Buddhist compassion-virtue term (the Buddha’s karuna); acceptable as established Hindi Christian usage but a brief distinguishing note (compassion flowing from union with Christ, not a detached universal benevolence cultivated by meditative practice) is warranted on first use. |
| οἰκτιρμοί (oiktirmoi) | acts of pity/mercy | compassion, mercy, pity | ”mercies,” “compassion” | Paired with σπλάγχνα for rhetorical intensity — the full range of tender mercy | Reuse baseline दया (mercy). Low risk. |
Synthesis: v.1 stacks four grounds (encouragement in Christ, comfort of love, Spirit-fellowship, affection/mercy) as the basis for the appeal that follows. All four must read as already possessed gifts of union with Christ, not qualities the Philippians must self-generate — this sets the grace-grounded tone before the ethical imperative of vv.2-4.
Philippians 2:2
πληρώσατέ μου τὴν χαράν, ἵνα τὸ αὐτὸ φρονῆτε, τὴν αὐτὴν ἀγάπην ἔχοντες, σύμψυχοι, τὸ ἓν φρονοῦντες
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| χαρά (chara) joy | gladness, delight, joy ”joy,” “gladness” | Paul’s own joy, made complete by their unity — the letter’s signature term (16 occurrences of χαρά/χαίρω, the highest density of any Pauline letter) | आनन्द (ānanda). CRITICAL. आनन्द is the central Sanskrit/Hindu philosophical term for the bliss-nature of Brahman/Atman (sat-chit-ānanda) and for the ecstatic bliss of bhakti devotion (premānanda), typically an impersonal or self-realized metaphysical state. Philippians’ joy is relational, Christ-grounded, and paradoxically compatible with chains and suffering (1:12-18; 4:11-13) — not a meditative or liberation-attained bliss-state. Every major joy-passage requires a translator note; mandatory theologian review given this doctrine’s curriculum-level status (“Joy in Suffering and Imprisonment”). |
| φρονεῖν / τὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖν (phronein / to auto phronein) to think, to set the mind on | mindset, attitude, disposition, way of thinking/valuing ”be of the same mind,” “have this mindset,” “agree” | The controlling verb of Philippians 2 (used again 2:5; cf. 3:15,19; 4:2,10) — a shared, Christlike disposition, not mere doctrinal agreement | एक मन रखना / यही मनसा रखो. High risk: must be rendered consistently across every occurrence (2:2, 2:5, 3:15, 3:19, 4:2, 4:10) so the reader recognizes the same recurring exhortation. Avoid terms suggesting meditative mind-control (manas-discipline); this is a relational disposition shaped by the gospel, exercised communally. |
| σύμψυχος (sympsychos) joined in soul, of one soul together | unity of inner life, harmony ”united in spirit,” “of one accord” | A single Pauline coinage stressing depth of unity — one shared inner life among believers | एक प्राण होकर / एक जान होकर. Medium risk: avoid a rendering suggesting the merging or dissolution of separate persons into one undifferentiated soul (a possible Vedantic misreading); this is relational harmony among distinct persons, not ontological fusion. |
| τὸ ἓν φρονοῦντες thinking the one thing | singleness of purpose/intent ”intent on one purpose,” “of one mind” | Restates τὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖν with intensified singularity | Same rendering family as φρονεῖν above; Medium-High risk (consistency requirement). |
Philippians 2:3
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| ἐριθεία (eritheia) rivalry, factional self-interest | selfish ambition, party-strife ”selfish ambition,” “strife,” “rivalry” | The opposite of gospel unity — self-promotion at others’ expense | स्वार्थ-भाव (self-interest disposition). Medium risk; keep distinct from legitimate ambition/zeal (उत्साह, baseline). |
| κενοδοξία (kenodoxia) empty glory/opinion | vainglory, empty conceit ”vain conceit,” “empty ambition” | Seeking honor/status without substance — an honor-shame-culture vice needing careful handling in the Indian social context | व्यर्थ घमण्ड (reuse baseline घमण्ड “boasting” + व्यर्थ “empty”). Medium risk; flag for native-speaker review given honor/shame dynamics per baseline routing rule. |
| ταπεινοφροσύνη (tapeinophrosynē) lowliness of mind | humility, modesty ”humility,” “lowliness of mind” | The positive virtue that structures the whole hymn (cf. v.8’s ἐταπείνωσεν) — Christ’s own posture, now the church’s | विनम्रता (vinamratā). High risk. In an honor-shame culture, self-lowering can be heard as status-loss or weakness rather than gospel virtue; must also be distinguished from ascetic self-mortification (tapasya) — this is relational other-regard modeled on Christ’s voluntary self-giving, not renunciation practiced for personal spiritual merit. Theologian review recommended given the term’s centrality to the Unity/Humility doctrine and its structural link to v.8. |
| ὑπερέχοντας ἑαυτῶν surpassing/exceeding themselves | considering others as more important ”better than yourselves,” “more significant than yourselves” | Radical other-esteem, the practical shape of ταπεινοφροσύνη | अपने से बड़ा समझना. Medium risk; must not be read as false self-deprecation but genuine esteem for others’ worth. |
Philippians 2:4
μὴ τὰ ἑαυτῶν ἕκαστος σκοπούντες, ἀλλὰ [καὶ] τὰ ἑτέρων ἕκαστοι
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| σκοπέω (skopeō) to look at, fix attention on | to consider, to look out for, to aim at ”look to,” “have regard for” | Related noun σκοπός reappears at 3:14 (“the goal/mark”) — attentiveness/aim as a unifying Philippians motif | ध्यान देना / विचार करना. Low-Medium risk. |
| τὰ ἑαυτῶν / τὰ ἑτέρων the things of themselves / the things of others | one’s own interests / others’ interests ”your own interests” / “the interests of others” | The interest-orientation test of gospel humility | अपनी बातें / दूसरों की बातें. Low risk. |
Philippians 2:5
Τοῦτο φρονεῖτε ἐν ὑμῖν ὃ καὶ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| φρονεῖτε (phroneite) think, set your mind | have this disposition ”have this mind,” “have this attitude” | The hinge command: the disposition just described (vv.2-4) is now grounded in and modeled by Christ himself — introduces the hymn | Same φρονεῖन family as v.2; यही मनसा रखो जो मसीह यीशु में भी थी. High risk: this clause is the load-bearing bridge between ethical exhortation and Christology — the Hindi must make unmistakably clear that Christ’s own historical disposition/action (vv.6-8) is the content of the mind believers are to have, not a mystical inner state to individually cultivate. |
Philippians 2:6
ὃς ἐν μορφῇ θεοῦ ὑπάρχων οὐχ ἁρπαγμὸν ἡγήσατο τὸ εἶναι ἴσα θεῷ
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| μορφή θεοῦ (morphē theou) form of God | essential, visible nature/mode of being as God ”form of God,” “God’s very nature” (NIV) | Christ’s pre-incarnate possession of the very nature/mode of being of God — a Deity-of-Christ statement of the highest order | परमेश्वर का स्वरूप. CRITICAL. स्वरूप is the standard Hindi philosophical term for svarūpa — the true, essential, often impersonal nature of the Self (Ātman) or ultimate reality (Brahman) in Vedanta. Using it here risks a reader hearing “Christ’s essential nature is identical with the impersonal ultimate reality,” rather than “Christ possesses the full, personal, eternal nature of the one true God.” Mandatory theologian review and translator note on every occurrence; रूप alone was rejected as too weak (mere outward appearance, undercutting the deity claim). |
| ὑπάρχων (hyparchōn) existing, being (present participle) | continuous state of being; existing beforehand ”being,” “who, being” | Signals Christ’s pre-existent state before the self-emptying of v.7 — foundational to the Incarnation doctrine | जो…था / होते हुए. High risk (tied to Incarnation/pre-existence doctrine); must convey ongoing prior existence, not a state Christ entered at a point in time. |
| ἁρπαγμός (harpagmos) a thing seized/grasped; act of seizing | something to be forcibly held onto or exploited for advantage ”a thing to be grasped,” “something to cling to,” “to be used to his own advantage” (NIV) | Christ did NOT treat divine equality as a prerogative to selfishly exploit — the ground of the humility argument | छीनने/पकड़ रखने की वस्तु. Medium-High risk; must convey Christ already possessing equality with God and voluntarily not exploiting it — not “striving to attain” equality (which would wrongly imply Christ was not yet equal with God). |
| ἴσα θεῷ (isa theō) equal to God | full ontological equality ”equal with God,” “equality with God” | States Christ’s co-equality with the Father — Deity of Christ, directly parallel to the baseline son_of_god/deity_of_christ Critical entries | परमेश्वर के तुल्य / परमेश्वर के समान. Critical (ties to baseline देवत्व doctrine); must not be softened to “godlike” or “divine” in a lesser sense. |
Philippians 2:7
ἀλλ᾿ ἑαυτὸν ἐκένωσεν μορφὴν δούλου λαβών, ἐν ὁμοιώματι ἀνθρώπων γενόμενος
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| ἐκένωσεν (ekenōsen, root κενόω) he emptied, he made empty | to empty, to make void, to divest of privilege/status ”emptied himself,” “made himself nothing” (NIV), “made himself of no reputation” (KJV) | The kenosis: Christ’s voluntary self-emptying of the outward privileges of deity (not his divine nature itself) in taking on servanthood — the doctrinal hinge of the entire curriculum’s Incarnation doctrine | उसने अपने आप को रीता कर दिया / घटा लिया. CRITICAL — highest-risk term in this curriculum. रीता (plain “empty,” e.g. an empty vessel) is recommended over शून्य (zero/void), which is explicitly rejected: शून्य carries deep Buddhist (śūnyatā, ultimate emptiness/non-self) and Advaitic (nirguna Brahman, formless ultimate reality) philosophical loading, and could be misread as Christ dissolving into non-being or losing his personal, distinct identity — the opposite of what follows in vv.9-11, where he is exalted as a distinct, named person. Christ emptied himself of status/privilege, not of deity or personhood. Mandatory theologian review; mandatory translator note on every occurrence. |
| μορφὴν δούλου λαβών taking the form of a slave/servant | assuming servant-nature/status ”taking the form of a servant,” “taking the very nature of a servant” (NIV) | Christ’s voluntary assumption of δοῦλος-status — deliberate parallel/contrast to μορφή θεοῦ in v.6 | दास का स्वरूप लेकर. High risk; use स्वरूप here too (not रूप) to preserve Paul’s literary parallel between “form of God” and “form of a servant” — the same Greek word (μορφή) links both, and the contrast (not the change of “form”-word) is the rhetorical point. δοῦλος reuses the baseline दास/दासत्व family (Galatians). |
| ὁμοίωμα ἀνθρώπων (homoiōma anthrōpōn) likeness of men | resemblance, form corresponding to ”likeness of men,” “human likeness” | Christ’s genuine assumption of real human nature — must not suggest mere outward semblance | मनुष्यों की समानता में. Critical: this phrase, if mishandled, risks a docetic reading (Christ only appeared human) which would resonate dangerously with the Hindu concept of māyā (the phenomenal world, including divine appearances/avatars, as ultimately illusory manifestation rather than substantial reality). The Hindi must affirm real, full humanity (consistent with the baseline humanity_of_christ registry entry: “real physical human nature; not an illusion as in Advaita Vedanta”). Mandatory theologian review. |
Philippians 2:8
καὶ σχήματι εὑρεθεὶς ὡς ἄνθρωπος ἐταπείνωσεν ἑαυτὸν γενόμενος ὑπήκοος μέχρι θανάτου, θανάτου δὲ σταυροῦ
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| σχῆμα (schēma) outward fashion/form | external appearance, manner ”form,” “fashion,” “appearance” | Paired with ὁμοίωμα (v.7) to stress that Christ’s humanity was observable and real, not merely conceptual | रूप-रंग / रूप में. High risk; same docetism caution as ὁμοίωμα above — the outward form matched the inward reality; this was not divine costume. |
| εὑρεθεὶς ὡς ἄνθρωπος having been found as a man | recognized/discovered to be human ”being found in human form,” “found to be human” | Confirms genuine, verifiable humanity from the standpoint of observers | मनुष्य के रूप में पाया गया. High risk (same docetism caution). |
| ἐταπείνωσεν ἑαυτόν (etapeinōsen heauton) he humbled himself | voluntary self-lowering, self-abasement ”he humbled himself” | Christ’s own active humility — the model believers are commanded to imitate (v.3’s तापेइनोफ्रोसुने) | उस ने अपने आप को दीन किया / नम्र किया. High risk; must be read as voluntary, dignity-preserving self-giving (an act of supreme lordly authority choosing to serve), not forced degradation or loss of honor — critical distinction in an honor-shame social context, and distinct from ascetic self-mortification undertaken to earn merit. |
| ὑπήκοος (hypēkoos) obedient | compliant, submissive ”obedient,” “in obedience” | Christ’s obedience unto death — the ground of the baseline obedience_of_faith doctrine’s Christological pattern | आज्ञाकारी. Reuse baseline आज्ञाकारिता family (विश्वास की आज्ञाकारिता). Medium-High risk; obedience flowing from loving submission to the Father’s will, not fear-driven compliance to cosmic law. |
| θάνατος σταυροῦ (thanatos staurou) death of a cross | crucifixion, the specific and most shameful form of death ”death on a cross,” “even death on a cross” | The nadir of the descent — the most degrading death in the Greco-Roman world, now the ground of exaltation | Reuse baseline क्रूस (cross) exactly + मृत्यु (death). Critical; ties directly to baseline Atonement doctrine. The rhetorical shock (θανάτου δὲ σταυροῦ as an intensifying afterthought) should be preserved if possible — “यहां तक कि क्रूस की मृत्यु तक।“ |
Philippians 2:9
διὸ καὶ ὁ θεὸς αὐτὸν ὑπερύψωσεν καὶ ἐχαρίσατο αὐτῷ τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ὑπὲρ πᾶν ὄνομα
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| ὑπερύψωσεν (hyperypsōsen) he highly exalted, super-exalted | exalted to the highest degree ”highly exalted,” “exalted him to the highest place” (NIV) | God’s response to Christ’s self-humbling — the reversal pattern (down/up) central to the hymn and to the doctrine of Christ’s exaltation, related to but distinct from the baseline glorification entry | अत्यधिक ऊंचा किया / परम ऊंचाई पर बैठाया. High risk (relates to baseline महिमान्वित किया जाना/glorification entry, but this is exaltation to lordship specifically, not the believer’s future glorification — keep distinct). |
| ἐχαρίσατο (echarisato, root χαρίζομαι) he graciously granted/gave | to bestow as a gift/favor ”gave,” “bestowed,” “granted” | Note the χαρις-root verb: even Christ’s exaltation-name is given, a further grace-motif threading through the hymn | कृपापूर्वक दिया / प्रदान किया. Medium risk; the grace-root wordplay (χαρίζομαι shares its root with χάρις, “grace”) is largely untranslatable in Hindi but the gift character of the naming should be preserved. |
| ὄνομα τὸ ὑπὲρ πᾶν ὄνομα (onoma to hyper pan onoma) the name above every name | supreme name, unsurpassed name/rank ”the name above every name,” “the name that is above every name” | The name “Lord” (κύριος, v.11) conferred on Jesus as the highest possible rank/authority | सब नामों से बड़ा नाम. High risk: in Hindu bhakti tradition, a deity’s name itself is held to carry ritual/mystical power when repeated (nāma-japa, nāma-smaraṇa) — the Hindi rendering must be clear this is about supreme authority and rank conferred on Jesus (a status/lordship claim, v.10-11’s confession), not a claim about the magical efficacy of pronouncing a divine name. |
Philippians 2:10
ἵνα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ πᾶν γόνυ κάμψῃ ἐπουρανίων καὶ ἐπιγείων καὶ καταχθονίων
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ in the name of Jesus | by the authority of, in recognition of ”at the name of Jesus,” “in the name of Jesus” | Universal submission is rendered to Jesus specifically, by name — exclusive, not generic, lordship | यीशु के नाम पर/से. Ties to baseline lord/lordship_of_christ Critical entry. |
| πᾶν γόνυ κάμψῃ every knee will bow | universal, total submission ”every knee will bow,” “every knee should bow” | Cosmic, comprehensive homage — echoes Isaiah 45:23 (a Yahweh-text applied to Jesus) | हर एक घुटना झुकेगा. Critical: this is an Old Testament citation applied to Jesus originally spoken of YHWH alone — must not be softened to “many will honor him” but retain the universal, exclusive-worship force. |
| ἐπουρανίων, ἐπιγείων, καταχθονίων heavenly ones, earthly ones, under-the-earth ones | the entire cosmos: heaven, earth, and the realm of the dead/underworld ”in heaven, on earth, and under the earth” | Totalizing merism affirming Christ’s lordship over the entire created and spiritual order, including any beings Indian cosmology might locate in other realms (devas, ancestors, underworld spirits) | स्वर्ग में, पृथ्वी पर, और पृथ्वी के नीचे. High risk: in a context with a rich cosmology of celestial and subterranean beings (devas, nāgas, pitṛs/ancestors), this verse must be read as asserting Christ’s lordship over all such realms and beings, not as affirming their independent legitimacy as parallel objects of devotion. |
Philippians 2:11
καὶ πᾶσα γλῶσσα ἐξομολογήσηται ὅτι Κύριος Ἰησοῦς Χριστός εἰς δόξαν θεοῦ πατρός
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| πᾶσα γλῶσσα ἐξομολογήσηται every tongue will confess/acknowledge | universal, verbal, public acknowledgment ”every tongue confess,” “every tongue acknowledge” | Reuse baseline अंगीकार करना (confession_of_faith) — public, personal allegiance | हर एक जीभ अंगीकार करेगी. High risk; consistency with baseline अंगीकार करना term required. |
| Κύριος Ἰησοῦς Χριστός (Kyrios Iēsous Christos) Jesus Christ is Lord | the supreme confessional formula ”Jesus Christ is Lord” | Identical confession-content to Romans 10:9’s salvation confession — must be rendered consistently with the baseline rule | यीशु मसीह प्रभु है. CRITICAL — must match the established Romans 10:9 pattern (यीशु प्रभु है) exactly, extended with मसीह for the fuller title here. No qualification (“a great lord,” “one lord among others”) is permitted, per the baseline’s absolute rule on this confession. |
| εἰς δόξαν θεοῦ πατρός to/for the glory of God the Father | ultimate purpose/result: God’s glory ”to the glory of God the Father” | Christ’s exaltation and universal lordship terminate in, and never compete with, the Father’s glory — a Trinitarian, not competing-deities, structure | परमेश्वर पिता की महिमा के लिये. Reuse baseline महिमा (glory) + पिता (Father) exactly. High risk; must preserve the Trinitarian coherence (Son’s exaltation glorifies the Father, not a rival deity) against any polytheistic-pantheon misreading. |
PART 2 — CHAPTER-BY-CHAPTER ANALYSIS OF THE WHOLE BOOK
Chapter 1 (Philippians 1:1-30)
| Term (Greek/translit.) | Literal meaning | Semantic range | English variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| δοῦλος (doulos, 1:1) | slave/servant | bondservant, slave | ”servants,” “bond-servants” | Paul and Timothy’s self-designation — voluntary, honorific self-lowering before Christ, anticipating the hymn’s δοῦλος in 2:7 | Reuse baseline दास/दासत्व family exactly (Galatians). Medium-High risk; must read as honored identity-in-Christ, not degrading social status, since it deliberately foreshadows Christ’s own δοῦλος-form. |
| ἐπίσκοπος (episkopos, 1:1) | overseer | bishop, overseer, superintendent | ”overseers,” “bishops” | A recognized local-church office of oversight — distinct from an apostle or itinerant teacher | अध्यक्ष (adhyakṣa). New term, Medium risk; must be distinguished from a guru-like figure whose authority is personal/charismatic rather than an appointed, accountable church office. |
| διάκονος (diakonos, 1:1, masc. plural) | servant/minister | deacon, servant, minister | ”deacons” | A recognized local-church office of service | Reuse baseline gendered convention: masculine = सेवक (per the established deacon entry, feminine सेविका reserved for Phoebe-type contexts). Low-Medium risk. |
| χάρις καὶ εἰρήνη (charis kai eirēnē, 1:2) | grace and peace | the standard Pauline epistolary greeting | ”grace and peace” | Reuse baseline exactly | अनुग्रह और शांति. Critical/High per baseline entries; no deviation. |
| κοινωνία εἰς τὸ εὐαγγέλιον (koinōnia eis to euangelion, 1:5) | partnership/fellowship unto the gospel | joint participation, sponsorship, shared mission investment | ”partnership in the gospel,” “fellowship in the gospel” | Foundational statement of the “Partnership in the Gospel” doctrine — the Philippians’ shared material and spiritual investment in Paul’s mission | सुसमाचार में संगति/भागीदारी. Reuse baseline संगति (fellowship) + सुसमाचार (gospel) exactly. High doctrinal routing despite Low-risk vocabulary components — flag for theologian review given curriculum-level doctrine status; must convey active co-participation (financial, prayer, personal risk), not passive spectator agreement. |
| ἡμέρα Χριστοῦ (hēmera Christou, 1:6, 1:10) | day of Christ | the eschatological day of Christ’s return/judgment | ”day of Christ,” “day of Jesus Christ” | The horizon of confident hope for the completion of God’s work begun in believers | मसीह का दिन. Medium risk; clarify (via note) this is Christ’s future return/judgment day, not a weekly holy day, and not a cyclical cosmic-age concept (yuga). |
| ἐπίγνωσις καὶ αἴσθησις (epignōsis kai aisthēsis, 1:9) | full knowledge and perception | discernment, moral insight | ”knowledge and discernment,” “knowledge and depth of insight” | Love must grow informed, not sentimental — a discernment enabling right ethical choices (v.10) | ἐπίγνωσις: पहचान/समझ (recognition/understanding) rather than bare ज्ञान — see the Chapter 3 γνῶσις entry below for the fuller collision-risk rationale. αἴσθησις: विवेक (reuse baseline conscience-adjacent term) or समझ. High risk (see ch.3 discussion); flag for theologian review to keep this consistent with the γνῶσις caution. |
| καρπὸς δικαιοσύνης (karpos dikaiosynēs, 1:11) | fruit of righteousness | the visible outcome/produce of right standing lived out | ”fruit of righteousness” | Righteousness (reuse baseline धार्मिकता, Critical) bearing observable, character-shaped fruit | धार्मिकता का फल. High risk: reuse baseline फल caution (कर्म-फल collision, per the fruit_of_the_spirit entry) — this fruit flows from righteousness received through Christ, not fruit that produces or earns righteousness. |
| δεσμά / δεσμοῖς (desma, 1:7,13,14,17) | bonds, chains | imprisonment, custody | ”chains,” “imprisonment,” “bonds” | Paul’s imprisonment reframed as gospel-advancing rather than gospel-defeating — core to the “Joy in Suffering and Imprisonment” doctrine | बंधन / कैद. Medium-High risk: doctrinally weighted (imprisonment is not evidence of divine disfavor or bad karma but an occasion of gospel advance and rejoicing) though the vocabulary itself is plain; flag for theologian review given the doctrine’s curriculum status. |
| παρρησία (parrēsia, 1:20) | freedom of speech, boldness | confidence, boldness | ”boldness,” “courage” | Paul’s hoped-for confidence to honor Christ “whether by life or by death” | निडरता / हियाव. Low-Medium risk. |
| τὸ ζῆν Χριστός, τὸ ἀποθανεῖν κέρδος (1:21) | to live [is] Christ, to die [is] gain | a summary maxim of Paul’s existential orientation | ”to live is Christ and to die is gain” | The central verse of the Joy-in-Suffering doctrine: death is “gain” specifically because it means fuller, unhindered presence with Christ (v.23), not escape from embodied/worldly existence itself | जीना मसीह के लिये है, और मरना लाभ है. Critical: must not be read as a fatalistic death-wish, nor assimilated to a moksha-through-death release from the cycle of rebirth, nor to any general “release is always better than life” logic. The reason death is gain (union with Christ, v.23) must remain attached to this verse in any teaching material. Mandatory theologian review. |
| πολιτεύεσθε ἀξίως τοῦ εὐαγγελίου (1:27) | conduct yourselves as citizens worthy of the gospel | to live out one’s public, civic-styled identity | ”let your manner of life be worthy of,” “conduct yourselves worthily” | First appearance of the πολιτ- root that culminates in 3:20’s πολίτευμα — introduces the Citizenship in Heaven doctrine already in ch.1 | सुसमाचार के योग्य नागरिक जीवन बिताओ. High risk; see full treatment under Chapter 3 (πολίτευμα) below — flag both occurrences together for theologian review, and keep consistent vocabulary between 1:27 and 3:20. |
| ἐχαρίσθη τὸ ὑπὲρ Χριστοῦ πάσχειν (1:29) | it has been granted, on behalf of Christ, to suffer | suffering itself as a granted grace-gift | ”it has been granted to you… to suffer for his sake” | Suffering for Christ is itself framed with the χάρις-root verb — a grace-gift, not a punishment or bad-karma outcome | यह अनुग्रह किया गया है कि तुम…दुख भी उठाओ. Reuse baseline अनुग्रह exactly. High risk: must not be read as suffering being deserved/earned consequence (karma); it is granted alongside faith as part of the same gift-economy. Theologian review recommended. |
Chapter 2 — Remainder (Philippians 2:12-30; vv.1-11 treated above)
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| κατεργάζεσθε τὴν ἑαυτῶν σωτηρίαν μετὰ φόβου καὶ τρόμου (2:12) work out your own salvation with fear and trembling | to bring to full effect/completion; reverent, careful diligence ”work out your salvation with fear and trembling” | Read together with v.13 (“for it is God who works in you”), this is the outworking of a salvation already given, not the earning of one not yet possessed | Reuse baseline उद्धार (salvation) exactly. CRITICAL: must always be taught/annotated together with 2:13 to prevent a works-righteousness misreading that would contradict the baseline salvation/grace Critical entries and the law_and_grace doctrine; भय और कंपकंपी के साथ (fear and trembling) = reverent seriousness, not anxious uncertainty about one’s ultimate standing (contra typical karmic uncertainty about a future rebirth/outcome). Mandatory theologian review. |
| εὐδοκία (eudokia, 2:13) good pleasure, good will | favorable disposition, purpose ”good pleasure,” “good will” | God’s own gracious purpose at work within believers, grounding v.12’s imperative | अपनी सुइच्छा से / भली इच्छा से. Low-Medium risk. |
| ἄμωμος, ἀκέραιος, τέκνα θεοῦ (2:15) blameless, innocent/unmixed, children of God | moral purity; sonship ”blameless,” “innocent,” “children of God” | The Philippians’ visible moral distinctiveness within a “crooked and twisted generation” | निर्दोष, निष्कलंक, परमेश्वर की सन्तान. Low-Medium risk; τέκνα θεοῦ lightly touches the baseline adoption doctrine without requiring the full दत्तक-पुत्रता compound (reserved for υἱοθεσία specifically). |
| σκολιὰ καὶ διεστραμμένη γενεά (2:15) crooked and perverted generation | morally corrupt society ”crooked and perverse generation” | Echoes Deuteronomy 32:5 — describes the surrounding culture, not a specific ethnicity | कुटिल और बिगड़ी जाति. Low risk; ensure “generation/society,” not ethnic group. |
| φωστῆρες (phōstēres, 2:15) luminaries, stars | lights, heavenly bodies ”lights [in the world]“ | Believers as visible witnesses in a dark culture — a light-metaphor requiring the baseline caution against Hindu divine-light conflation | Reuse baseline light-metaphor caution from ज्योति के हथियार/glory entries. ज्योति के समान. Medium risk. |
| λόγος ζωῆς (logos zōēs, 2:16) word of life | the life-giving gospel message ”word of life” | The gospel Paul holds fast to and hopes his labor for was not in vain | जीवन का वचन. Low-Medium risk; reuse baseline वचन caution where relevant (distinguish from mere spoken word). |
| σπένδομαι (spendomai, 2:17) I am poured out (as a drink/libation offering) | sacrificial self-expenditure ”I am poured out as a sacrificial offering,” “if I am poured out like a drink offering” | Paul’s ministry and potential martyrdom framed as a sacrificial libation accompanying the Philippians’ own sacrifice of faith | मैं बलिदान की तरह उंडेला जाता हूं. Medium-High risk; reuse baseline living_sacrifice caution (avoid बलि/यज्ञ generic ritual-offering register) — this is self-giving in ministry, not a means of securing divine favor. |
| θυσία καὶ λειτουργία τῆς πίστεως (2:17) sacrifice and service of faith | the Philippians’ own faith-offering ”sacrifice and service of your faith” | The Philippians’ faith itself pictured as an offering, paired with Paul’s libation | तुम्हारे विश्वास का बलिदान और सेवा. Medium-High risk; same living_sacrifice caution. |
| λειτουργός (leitourgos, 2:25, of Epaphroditus) minister, servant (public-service term) | minister, servant, helper ”minister,” “messenger and minister” | Epaphroditus’s ministry to Paul’s need — a recognized service-role, not a cultic priestly office | सेवक. Low-Medium risk; keep distinct from any priestly-mediator connotation. |
| παραβολευσάμενος τῇ ψυχῇ (2:30) having gambled/risked with his life | risking one’s life ”risking his life” | Epaphroditus’s sacrificial service — commends costly gospel partnership (ties to the Partnership doctrine) | अपना जीवन जोखिम में डालकर. Low risk. |
Chapter 3 (Philippians 3:1-21)
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| χαίρετε ἐν Κυρίῳ (3:1) rejoice in the Lord | joy grounded specifically in the Lord ”rejoice in the Lord” | Reuse the χαρά caution from 2:2/4:4 — joy’s object (ἐν Κυρίῳ) must remain explicit | प्रभु में आनन्द करो. Critical — see the full χαρά discussion at 2:2 and 4:4; the qualifier “in the Lord” is theologically load-bearing and must never be dropped in paraphrase. |
| περιτομή, Φαρισαῖος, ζῆλος (3:5-6) circumcision, Pharisee, zeal | Paul’s Jewish covenantal pedigree ”circumcision,” “a Pharisee,” “zeal” | Paul’s impressive law-based credentials, listed only to be renounced as a ground of righteousness | Reuse baseline खतना and उत्साह exactly; फरीसी (Pharisee, transliteration) new but low risk. |
| δικαιοσύνη ἐκ νόμου / διὰ πίστεως Χριστοῦ (3:6,9) righteousness from the law / through faith in Christ | forensic standing based on Torah-performance vs. Christ-given standing by faith ”righteousness which is in the law” / “righteousness…through faith in Christ” | The letter’s clearest statement of the Righteousness by Faith versus the Law doctrine, directly parallel to Galatians/Romans | Reuse baseline धार्मिकता, व्यवस्था, विश्वास exactly — no deviation permitted. Critical; this passage should route with the existing justification_by_faith doctrine entry. |
| σκύβαλα (skybala, 3:8) refuse, dung, rubbish | worthless waste, excrement (vivid/coarse register) “rubbish,” “garbage,” “dung” (KJV) | Paul’s former law-based credentials counted as worthless waste compared to knowing Christ | कूड़ा-करकट / गोबर के समान. Medium risk; preserve the vivid force (Paul deliberately uses a coarse term) without becoming crude in formal register — “कूड़ा-करकट” balances intensity with formality. |
| γνῶσις / ἐπίγνωσις τοῦ Χριστοῦ (3:8) knowledge / full knowledge of Christ | relational, personal knowing (not abstract information) “the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord,” “surpassing worth of knowing Christ” | Personal, relational knowing of Christ as supremely valuable — set explicitly against law-righteousness | मसीह को जानने का ज्ञान (never bare ज्ञान standing alone). CRITICAL — newly identified high-collision term. ज्ञान (jñāna) is the central term for the liberating, self-realizing insight of the jñāna-mārga path to mokṣa in Hindu philosophy — knowledge that itself liberates the knower by dissolving ignorance (avidyā/māyā). Paul’s γνῶσις is not self-attained metaphysical insight but relational, personal knowledge of a specific, distinct divine Person (parallel to the baseline faith entry’s rule that “the object of faith must always be specified”). The Hindi must always attach the personal object (मसीह को जानना, “knowing Christ”) and never let ज्ञान stand as an abstract, self-liberating noun. Mandatory theologian review on every occurrence. |
| κοινωνία [τῶν] παθημάτων αὐτοῦ (3:10) fellowship/participation in his sufferings | shared experiential participation in Christ’s suffering ”fellowship of his sufferings,” “participate in his sufferings” | Deep integration of the Joy-in-Suffering and Partnership doctrines — suffering itself as a mode of union with Christ, not evidence against it | उसके दुखों में सहभागी होना. Reuse baseline संगति family. High risk; must not be read as merit-earning suffering (tapasya) but as relational union with a person. |
| σύμμορφος / συμμορφιζόμενος (symmorphos, 3:10; cf. 3:21) co-formed, sharing the same form | conformed/patterned to another’s form ”becoming like him in his death,” “conformed to his death/glory” | Progressive conformity to Christ’s pattern (death now, glory later, v.21) — reuses the μορφή root from the core hymn | उसके स्वरूप के समान होना/बनना. High risk: same स्वरूप collision as 2:6-7 — must read as the believer being progressively patterned after a distinct personal Christ, not merging/dissolving into an impersonal form or losing individual identity (cf. baseline christ_lives_in_me guardrails). Theologian review recommended. |
| ἐξανάστασις τῶν νεκρῶν (3:11) the out-resurrection from the dead (intensified compound) | bodily resurrection, emphatic form ”the resurrection of the dead” | An intensified synonym of ἀνάστασις, used only here in the NT | Reuse baseline पुनरुत्थान exactly. Critical (baseline); note the intensified Greek form does not require a different Hindi word, only emphasis in surrounding prose if desired. |
| διώκω (diōkō, 3:12,14) to run after, pursue, chase | to press on, pursue, persecute (context-dependent) “press on,” “pursue” | Paul’s eager, ongoing pursuit of Christ-likeness — explicitly not self-generated achievement but response to “Christ Jesus has laid hold of me” (v.12) | लक्ष्य की ओर दौड़ता/पीछा करता रहता हूं. High risk: must not be read as autonomous spiritual striving toward self-attained liberation (paralleling karma-yoga effort toward mokṣa); this pursuit is itself enabled by, and responsive to, having already been grasped by Christ. Theologian review recommended given the “Pressing on toward the Goal” doctrine’s curriculum status. |
| βραβεῖον (brabeion, 3:14) prize (athletic) | reward, prize ”prize,” “the prize” | The eschatological goal, pictured as an athletic prize — not earned by merit-accumulation but the fulfillment of God’s call | पुरस्कार. Medium risk; note (via annotation) that this is the goal of God’s call fulfilled, not a merit-earned reward comparable to karma-fruit. |
| σκοπός (skopos, 3:14) mark, target aimed at | goal, aim ”goal,” “mark” | Related to σκοπέω (2:4) — the singular aim of Paul’s pursuit: Christ himself and the upward call | निशाना / लक्ष्य. Low-Medium risk. |
| ἡ ἄνω κλῆσις (3:14) the upward call | the heavenly summons ”the upward call,” “the heavenly call” | Reuse baseline calling/बुलाहट family — God’s own summons, not human aspiration | Reuse baseline बुलाहट exactly. High risk (per baseline calling entry). |
| πολίτευμα / πολίτευμα ἐν οὐρανοῖς (3:20) commonwealth, state, body of citizens; “our citizenship is in heaven” | corporate civic identity/homeland ”our citizenship is in heaven,” “we are citizens of heaven” | The letter’s signature statement for the Citizenship in Heaven doctrine — believers’ primary corporate identity and allegiance belong to a heavenly, not earthly, πολιτεία, while they live out that identity in the present as ambassadors (cf. 1:27’s πολιτεύεσθε) | हमारी नागरिकता स्वर्ग में है / हम स्वर्ग के नागरिक हैं. High risk, curriculum-level doctrine. Two distinct hazards: (1) नागरिकता is a modern civic/political-nation term; readers could hear this as a claim about political allegiance or nationalism rather than ultimate spiritual belonging, especially sensitive given India’s own contested citizenship discourse; (2) it must be clearly distinguished from Hindu eschatological destinations (e.g., attaining a heavenly loka such as Vaikuṇṭha or Svarga through accumulated merit) — heavenly citizenship here is a present, Christ-secured status (cf. 1:27, “conduct yourselves as citizens now, worthy of the gospel”) awaiting a future bodily transformation (v.21), not a post-mortem merit-based promotion. Mandatory theologian review; keep 1:27 and 3:20 terminology consistent. |
| σωτήρ (sōtēr, 3:20) savior, deliverer | one who saves/rescues ”Savior” | Christ awaited as Savior — ties directly to the baseline salvation Critical entry | उद्धारकर्ता. Reuse the उद्धार root exactly (baseline salvation family). Critical; never मुक्तिदाता or मोक्षदाता. |
| μετασχηματίσει τὸ σῶμα τῆς ταπεινώσεως ἡμῶν (3:21) he will transform/refashion the body of our lowliness | eschatological bodily transformation ”will transform our lowly bodies,” “will change our lowly body” | Final bodily glorification, patterned on Christ’s own resurrected body — a once-for-all transformation, not cyclical rebirth | Reuse रूपांतरित per the established baseline renewing_of_the_mind note. हमारी दीन देह को रूपांतरित करेगा. Critical: must not be assimilated to reincarnation/transmigration into successive bodies; this is a singular, final, resurrection-pattern transformation (ties to baseline resurrection Critical entry). |
| σύμμορφον τῷ σώματι τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ (3:21) conformed to the body of his glory | patterned after Christ’s own glorified body ”conformed to his glorious body,” “like his glorious body” | Reuse महिमा (glory, baseline) + देह (body) + the स्वरूप caution from σύμμορφος above | उसकी महिमा की देह के समान. High risk (glory + conformity double caution as above). |
| ἐχθροὶ τοῦ σταυροῦ τοῦ Χριστοῦ (3:18) enemies of the cross of Christ | opponents of the gospel’s cross-centered message ”enemies of the cross of Christ” | Those whose lifestyle contradicts cross-shaped discipleship | Reuse baseline क्रूस exactly. मसीह के क्रूस के दुश्मन. Medium risk. |
| ἡ κοιλία θεός (3:19) the belly [is their] god | appetite/self-indulgence as ultimate devotion ”their god is their belly,” “whose god is their appetite” | A biting idiom for self-worship through indulgence | उनका पेट ही उनका ईश्वर है. Medium risk; idiom requiring natural Hindi phrasing, not overly literal; low doctrinal-collision risk but flagged for native-speaker review for naturalness. |
Chapter 4 (Philippians 4:1-23)
| Terms | Variants | Contextual theological meaning | Hindi rendering & risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| χαίρετε ἐν Κυρίῳ πάντοτε (4:4) rejoice in the Lord always | continuous, circumstance-independent joy ”rejoice in the Lord always” | The letter’s climactic joy-command, immediately followed by “the Lord is at hand” and the peace of God (vv.5-7) — joy as settled disposition, not emotional high | Reuse the χαρά/आनन्द treatment from 2:2 and 3:1. Critical; “in the Lord” and “always” (amid the imprisonment context) must both be retained — this is precisely the collision point with Vedantic/bhakti “ananda” that requires the mandatory translator note wherever this verse is taught. |
| εἰρήνη τοῦ θεοῦ (4:7) the peace of God | God’s own peace, not humanly generated calm ”the peace of God” | Reuse baseline exactly; guards the mind and heart, a gift, not an achieved inner tranquility | Reuse baseline शांति exactly. High risk per baseline peace entry; distinguish from meditation-achieved calm. |
| νοήματα (noēmata, 4:7) thoughts, minds | thoughts, minds, perceptions ”minds,” “thoughts” | What God’s peace guards, alongside the heart | विचार / मन. Low risk. |
| αὐτάρκης / αὐτάρκεια (autarkēs/autarkeia, 4:11) self-sufficient / self-sufficiency | contentment, satisfaction irrespective of circumstance ”content,” “I have learned to be content” | The letter’s signature Contentment doctrine statement — contentment learned through varied circumstance, sourced in Christ’s strength (v.13), not self-generated detachment | संतोष. CRITICAL. संतoṣa (santoṣa) is one of the classical Hindu niyamas (Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras) — a self-cultivated virtue of contentment achieved through disciplined detachment (vairāgya) from desire, typically oriented toward liberation (mokṣa) through renunciation. Paul’s contentment is explicitly learned (v.11, ἔμαθον) through lived experience of both abundance and want, and is Christ-empowered (v.13, “through him who strengthens me”), not self-achieved detachment from desire itself; it also coexists with active engagement in ministry and relationship (contra withdrawal/renunciation). Mandatory theologian review; mandatory translator note distinguishing Christ-dependent contentment from self-cultivated ascetic detachment. |
| μεμύημαι (memyēmai, root μυέω, 4:12) I have been initiated (mystery-religion technical term) | to be let into a secret, initiated ”I have learned the secret,” “I am initiated” | A striking borrowed term from Greco-Roman mystery-cult initiation vocabulary, repurposed by Paul for hard-won experiential wisdom about contentment in all circumstances | मैंने यह भेद सीख लिया है. CRITICAL. Must reuse the baseline भेद (mystery) term — “a now-revealed secret… not esoteric hidden knowledge” — and must explicitly avoid दीक्षा (guru/tantric initiation into secret spiritual knowledge transmitted through a lineage or ritual), which would recast Paul’s hard-won, experience-based learning as a mystical initiation event conferring special hidden knowledge. Mandatory theologian review; mandatory translator note. |
| ὁ ἐνδυναμῶν με (ho endynamōn me, 4:13) the one strengthening me | empowerment for endurance/action ”him who strengthens me,” “who gives me strength” | Christ as the personal source of Paul’s capacity for contentment in all circumstances — the answer to how contentment (v.11) is possible | Reuse baseline सामर्थ्य (power_of_god family) exactly. मुझे सामर्थ्य देनेवाले [मसीह] के द्वारा. High risk; never शक्ति. |
| συγκοινωνήσαντές μου τῇ θλίψει (4:14) having shared/partnered with me in my affliction | joint participation in suffering through material support ”you have shared in my trouble,” “you did well to share with me in my trouble” | Reuse the κοινωνία family — partnership expressed concretely through financial gift-giving in Paul’s affliction | तुम मेरे दुख में सहभागी हुए. Reuse baseline संगति exactly. High doctrinal routing (Partnership in the Gospel). |
| δόσις καὶ λῆψις / εἰς λόγον ὑμῶν (4:15,17) giving and receiving / to your account | reciprocal exchange; accounting-ledger metaphor ”giving and receiving,” “credited to your account” | Financial-partnership language recording the Philippians’ generosity — Paul insists he does not seek “the gift” itself but their spiritual benefit | देने और लेने का सम्बन्ध / तुम्हारे लाभ के खाते में. High risk: this accounting/ledger metaphor superficially resembles a karma-ledger (deeds credited to a moral account determining future outcome/rebirth); the Hindi must be accompanied by a note clarifying this is relational partnership-language describing a gift already freely given in the gospel-partnership relationship (κοινωνία), not a system by which merit is accumulated toward salvation or reward. Theologian review recommended. |
| καρπός (karpos, 4:17) fruit | produce, result, outcome ”fruit that increases to your credit” | The spiritual benefit accruing to the Philippians on account of their generosity | Reuse baseline फल caution (fruit_of_the_spirit entry: collision with कर्म-फल). तुम्हारे लाभ के लिये बढ़ता फल. High risk; must not stand as an isolated merit-fruit concept detached from the relational gift-partnership framing above. |
| θυσία δεκτή, εὐάρεστος τῷ θεῷ, ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας (4:18) acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God, fragrant aroma | sacrificial/cultic acceptance language applied metaphorically to the Philippians’ gift ”a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” | The Philippians’ material gift described in temple-sacrifice terms — a metaphor, not a literal cultic offering earning favor | Reuse baseline living_sacrifice caution (avoid बलि/यज्ञ generic ritual sense). सुखदायक सुगन्ध, ग्रहणयोग्य और परमेश्वर को भावता हुआ बलिदान. High risk; must be read as a metaphor for grateful, Spirit-prompted generosity, not a claim that material gifts to ministers function as ritual offerings securing divine favor. |
| πληρώσει πᾶσαν χρείαν ὑμῶν (4:19) he will fill/supply every need of yours | complete provision ”will supply every need of yours” | God’s providence, meeting real need (not necessarily every want) — ties to the baseline providence entry | Reuse baseline परमेश्वर का विधान (providence) framing where relevant. तुम्हारी सब आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करेगा. Medium risk. |
| τῷ θεῷ καὶ πατρὶ ἡμῶν ἡ δόξα (4:20) to our God and Father [be] glory | closing doxology ”to our God and Father be glory” | Reuse baseline doxology entry | Reuse baseline महिमा-गान exactly. Low risk. |
