Doctrine Analysis
11 Doctrine Analysis — 1 Timothy (Full Book, Mandarin Destination)
Purpose and Scope
Per PRD Phase 1 full-book-coverage mandate, this analysis spans 1 Timothy chapters 1–6 in their entirety. The core passage (3:1–13, Qualifications for Church Leadership) is the theological anchor of the curriculum, not its scope boundary. Every chapter is mapped below to the doctrines it carries; sections that recur established baseline doctrine without introducing new collision risk are noted explicitly as reviewed, not silently omitted.

Coverage confirmation: All six chapters of 1 Timothy are represented above. No chapter or major section is silently omitted; every verse range is assigned to at least one doctrine or explicitly marked “reviewed — no new risk beyond established baseline/established vocabulary.”
Part 2 — Full Doctrine Matrix (1 Timothy)
This matrix is fully consistent with assets/doctrine_risk_registry.json. Same 18 doctrines, same risk tiers, same review routing.
| # | Doctrine | Mandarin Doctrine Name | Risk | Supporting Passages (1 Timothy) | Translation Risk (grounded reason) | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sound Doctrine versus False Teaching | 纯正的教训与异端的教训 | High | 1:3-7, 1:10, 4:1-7, 6:3-5, 6:20-21 | 纯正 (“sound/healthy”) risks being read as social/institutional respectability rather than conformity to the apostolic gospel. 鬼魔的教训 must retain a real personal-demonic source, distinct from ancestral ghosts (祖灵/鬼魂) placated in Chinese folk religion — false teaching here is spiritual warfare, not mere error. 假冒的知识 must not be confused with Buddhist wisdom/gnosis vocabulary (智慧/般若). | Human theologian |
| 2 | Qualifications for Church Leadership (Elders and Deacons) | 教会领袖(监督与执事)的资格 | High | 3:1-13 (CORE), 5:1, 5:17-22 | 监督 collides with the modern secular sense “workplace supervisor”; must be taught as a spiritual shepherding office identical in function to 长老. 只作一个妇人的丈夫 collides with historic Chinese concubinage (妻妾制) and the contemporary “mistress” phenomenon (小三). 女执事 (3:11) resolves a genuine Greek ambiguity and must be flagged whenever taught. | Human theologian |
| 3 | Christ as the One Mediator | 基督是唯一的中保 | Critical | 2:5-6 | 中保 must never be confused with China’s many native intermediary figures — spirit mediums (灵媒), ancestor tablets as go-betweens with deceased forebears, bodhisattvas interceding for devotees, or temple priests performing rites on a petitioner’s behalf. “One mediator” (εἷς μεσίτης) is an emphatically exclusive claim. 赎价 must not be read as karmic-debt repayment (还债/消业) or a folk ritual payment to appease spirits (买命钱). | Human theologian |
| 4 | Public Worship and Prayer | 公众敬拜与祷告 | Medium | 2:1-2, 2:8, 4:3-5 | Basic prayer vocabulary (祷告/祈求/代求/感恩) is well-established and low-collision, but the instruction to pray “for kings and all who are in high positions” (2:1-2) requires native-speaker sensitivity given the political sensitivity of intercessory prayer language for government authorities in the contemporary Chinese context. | Native speaker review |
| 5 | Gender and Ministry Roles in Corporate Worship | 敬拜中男女事奉角色的教导 | Critical | 2:9-15 | 安静 (ἡσυχία) and 辖管 (αὐθεντέω, a rare NT word occurring only here) sit at the center of an unresolved interpretive debate over the passage’s scope; renderings must not prejudge the debate by importing connotations (total silence/exclusion; domineering control) beyond what the underlying terms denote. 在生产上得救 (2:15) risks appearing to teach a works-based or gender-differentiated path to salvation, directly contradicting the baseline’s Critical grace/faith framework and Romans 3:22’s “no distinction.” | Human theologian |
| 6 | The Church as Pillar of Truth | 教会是真理的柱石和根基 | High | 3:14-16 | 真理的柱石和根基 must be clarified as the church’s role in upholding and displaying revealed truth, not generating or possessing authority over truth independent of Scripture and apostolic teaching — a distinction that matters given both historic imperial-sponsored religious-institution patterns and contemporary institutional-authority expectations. 敬虔的奥秘 must be distinguished from esoteric secret-transmission traditions (密传) in Chinese Buddhism/Daoism. | Human theologian |
| 7 | Incarnation and Vindication of Christ (Christological Hymn) | 基督的道成肉身与被称义(基督颂) | Critical | 3:16 | Two distinct collisions: (1) 在肉身显现 reuses the baseline’s Critical Incarnation doctrine (道成肉身) — the personal, eternal Word taking flesh permanently, never a temporary bodhisattva-style manifestation (化身/下凡). (2) 被灵称义 directly collides with the baseline’s “never use 灵 alone” rule, because the established CUV text itself renders πνεύματι here as bare 灵. This tension between established translation tradition and baseline convention must be resolved by retaining the base text with a mandatory accompanying theologian’s note at every occurrence. | Human theologian |
| 8 | Godliness and Contentment | 敬虔与知足 | High | 4:7-8, 6:3-10, 6:11-12, 6:17-19 | 知足 (6:6) deeply resonates with Daoist ideals (Laozi’s “知足者富”) and Buddhist detachment from desire; must be clarified as flowing from active trust in God’s personal provision, not philosophical detachment or wu-wei technique. 敬虔是得利的门路 (6:5) strikingly parallels transactional folk-religious piety (worship of wealth-gods 财神 for material fortune) and the text explicitly condemns this. 操练自己以致敬虔 (4:7) risks collision with Daoist/qigong bodily cultivation (气功修炼). 永生 (6:12, 19) must be distinguished from Daoist physical-immortality-seeking (长生不老). | Human theologian |
| 9 | Care for Widows and the Household of Faith | 照顾寡妇与信徒一家的责任 | High | 5:1-16, 5:17-18 | Historic Confucian widow-chastity ideology (守节, commemorated by “chastity arches” 贞节牌坊) both stigmatized widows and pressured them against remarriage; 1 Timothy 5:14 actually recommends remarriage for younger widows and calls the church to structured, dignifying communal care. Teaching must neither reinforce widow-shaming stigma nor imply the text opposes remarriage. 报答父母 (5:4) is compatible with but must be theologically distinguished from Confucian filial piety (孝) grounded in ancestor-veneration duty. | Human theologian |
| 10 | Guarding the Deposit of Faith | 守住所交托的真道 | High | 1:18-19, 3:9, 6:20-21 | 守住所托付的 and 真道的奥秘 must be distinguished from esoteric master-to-disciple secret-transmission traditions in Chinese Buddhism/Daoism (口传心授, 密传), where teaching is guarded as privileged, restricted knowledge for select initiates. The apostolic deposit is public, unchanging gospel truth entrusted to the whole church for open transmission to all, never an inner-circle secret. | Human theologian |
| 11 | Conscience and Moral Integrity | 良心与道德的正直 | High | 1:5, 1:19, 3:9, 4:2 | 良心 in Mencian Confucian anthropology denotes an innately good moral sense requiring only cultivation to be realized; biblical conscience, by contrast, can be corrupted, defiled, or “seared” (4:2) and requires active cleansing through faith, not self-cultivation. The CUV’s shift to 心 for the same Greek term at 3:9 must be taught as the identical faculty as 良心 elsewhere, so learners do not perceive two different organs. | Human theologian |
| 12 | Church Discipline | 教会的纪律与责备 | High | 1:19-20, 5:19-21 | 交给撒但 (1:20) must be distinguished from folk cursing or exorcism rituals; this is a formal act of church discipline aimed at eventual restoration, not a magical curse invoking a spirit-being. 在众人面前责备他 (5:20) is highly sensitive given Chinese face-preservation (面子) norms around public correction; translation must preserve the necessary corrective force without excessive softening or needless humiliation beyond the text’s intent. | Human theologian |
| 13 | Eschatological Apostasy and Demonic Deception | 末后离弃信仰与鬼魔的迷惑 | High | 4:1-5 | 迷惑人的邪灵 and 鬼魔的教训 must use 邪灵/鬼魔, never bare 灵, to preserve the baseline’s Critical 圣灵-vs-any-other-spirit distinction, and must be kept distinct from folk “ghosts” (鬼) or ancestral spirits. 禁止嫁娶,禁戒食物 has strong surface resemblance to Buddhist monastic celibacy and vegetarian/fasting disciplines (素食, 守斋); must be framed as Paul’s condemnation of this specific false teaching’s denial of creation’s goodness (4:4), not a critique of Buddhist practice as such. | Human theologian |
| 14 | Household Relationships and Social Order | 家中的关系与社会秩序 | Medium | 6:1-2, 3:4, 3:12 | 奴仆在轭下/主人 must be carefully framed as addressing the pastoral reality of a specific ancient social structure, not a timeless endorsement of slavery/servitude; avoid parallels that dignify historic Chinese bonded-servant or feudal-serf hierarchies. 主人 here is a legitimate, non-Christological use of “master” and must not soften 主 (Lord) in Christological contexts elsewhere. | Native speaker review |
| 15 | Divine Sovereignty and the Kingship of God | 神的主权与至高的君王身份 | Critical | 1:17, 6:15-16 | 万王之王,万主之主 (6:15) reuses the baseline’s Critical exclusive-Lordship doctrine and must not be read through the lens of Chinese imperial titulature (e.g., 万岁) or the Daoist folk-pantheon’s Jade Emperor (玉皇大帝), sometimes styled supreme ruler over a hierarchy of lesser gods. This title asserts God’s unique, absolute sovereignty over every other authority, not primacy within a comparable pantheon. 不朽 (6:16) must be distinguished from the Daoist “immortal” (神仙/仙人) attained through cultivation; God’s immortality is inherent and uncreated. | Human theologian |
| 16 | Apostolic Calling and Grace Shown to the Foremost of Sinners | 使徒的呼召与向罪魁所显的恩典 | Medium | 1:1-2, 1:12-17 | Paul’s testimony of receiving mercy (怜悯) and grace (恩典) as “the foremost” of sinners (1:15-16) must not be reframed as an especially large merit-reversal within a merit-ledger worldview (功德); grace remains unearned favor apart from merit-accounting, consistent with the baseline’s Critical grace doctrine. 救主 (1:1) must be kept distinct from generic folk “savior” figures such as Maitreya (弥勒). | Native speaker review |
| 17 | Thanksgiving and Gratitude | 感恩 | Low | 1:12, 2:1, 4:3-4 | Standard, low-collision vocabulary reused from the Romans baseline; minor risk of generic secular gratitude without explicit reference to God, especially in 4:3-4’s discussion of food received “with thanksgiving.” | Automated review |
| 18 | Personal Exhortation and Mutual Encouragement | 彼此劝勉与勉励 | Low | 4:12-13, 5:1-2, 6:2 | Standard exhortation vocabulary reused from the Romans baseline’s Mutual Edification doctrine; low collision risk given established Christian usage. | Automated review |
Corrected risk tier count (computed directly from the 18 doctrines above, for internal audit against doctrine_risk_registry.json):
| Risk | Count | Review Routing |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | 4 | Human theologian, every occurrence |
| High | 9 | Human theologian |
| Medium | 3 | Native speaker review |
| Low | 2 | Automated review |
| Total | 18 | — |
(Note: doctrine_risk_registry.json’s summary block lists Medium as 4; recomputation from its own doctrine entries yields 3. This document flags the discrepancy for registry maintainers but does not alter any doctrine’s individually assigned tier, per the hard rule against contradicting the baseline/registry content itself.)
Part 3 — Doctrines Carried Over from the Romans Baseline (Reused, Not Re-Tiered)
The following terms/doctrines recur in 1 Timothy but are governed entirely by the Romans-curriculum baseline translation_memory.json and are NOT re-tiered here. They are listed for full-book-coverage completeness only.
| Doctrine | Baseline Risk | 1 Timothy Occurrences | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grace | Critical | 1:2, 1:14, 6:21 | No new collision beyond baseline 功德/阴德 caution |
| Salvation | Critical | 1:15, 2:4, 2:15 (interacts with new Critical doctrine #5 above), 4:16 | 2:15 requires the additional Critical flag under Gender and Ministry Roles |
| Faith | High | Pervasive (1:2, 1:5, 1:14, 1:19, 2:15, 3:9, 3:13, 4:1, 4:6, 4:12, 5:8, 5:12, 6:10-12, 6:21) | No new collision |
| Righteousness | Critical | 6:11 | Same Confucian-virtue caution as baseline |
| Sanctification | Critical | 4:5 | Same Neo-Confucian self-cultivation caution |
| Lordship of Christ | Critical | 1:2, 1:12, 1:14, 6:3, 6:14-15 | Feeds into new doctrine #15 at 6:15 |
| Deity/Incarnation of Christ | Critical | 3:16 | Feeds into new doctrine #7 |
| Holy Spirit | Critical | (implicit background to 4:1, 3:16’s πνεύματι) | Directly implicated in the 3:16 bare-灵 tension under doctrine #7 |
| Law | High | 1:7-9 | Feeds into doctrine #1 |
| Sin | High | 1:9, 1:15, 5:20, 5:22, 5:24 | No new collision |
| Gospel | Medium | 1:11 | No new collision |
| Church | Medium | 3:5, 3:15 | Feeds into doctrine #6 |
| Spiritual Gifts | Medium | 4:14 | No new collision |
| Peace, Father, Apostle, Thanksgiving, Intercession, Gentiles, Glory, Prophecy | (baseline tiers) | Scattered throughout | No new collision |
This document must be loaded alongside doctrine_risk_registry.json (1 Timothy) and 08_core_glossary.md (1 Timothy) for all Phase 2 planning. It extends but never contradicts the Romans-curriculum baseline Language Package.
Critical Risk Doctrines
Christ as the One Mediator
Mandarin name: 基督是唯一的中保
Key terms: 中保, 赎价
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: 中保 must never be confused with the many intermediary figures native to Chinese religious life — spirit mediums (灵媒), ancestor tablets functioning as go-betweens with deceased forebears, bodhisattvas interceding for a devotee, or temple priests performing rites on a petitioner’s behalf. Verse 2:5’s ‘one mediator’ (εἷς μεσίτης) is an emphatically exclusive claim; teaching must foreground that Christ alone mediates, not one intermediary among many available options. 赎价 must not be read as karmic-debt repayment (还债/消业) or a folk ritual payment to appease spirits (买命钱).
Gender and Ministry Roles in Corporate Worship
Mandarin name: 敬拜中男女事奉角色的教导
Key terms: 安静, 辖管, 在生产上得救, 廉耻, 自守
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: 安静 (ἡσυχία) and 辖管 (αὐθεντέω, a rare word occurring only here in the NT) sit at the center of an unresolved interpretive debate over the passage’s scope (local Ephesian situation vs. universal principle); the Mandarin renderings must not prejudge this debate by importing connotations (total silence/exclusion; domineering control) beyond what the underlying terms denote. 在生产上得救 (2:15) carries the additional Critical risk of appearing to teach a works-based or gender-differentiated path to salvation, directly contradicting the baseline’s Critical grace/faith framework and Romans 3:22’s ‘no distinction.’ Every occurrence requires mandatory theologian review and an accompanying clarifying note.
Incarnation and Vindication of Christ (Christological Hymn)
Mandarin name: 基督的道成肉身与被称义(基督颂)
Key terms: 在肉身显现, 被灵称义, 被天使看见, 被传于外邦, 被世人信服, 被接在荣耀里
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL, TWO DISTINCT COLLISIONS: (1) 在肉身显现 reuses the baseline’s Critical Incarnation doctrine (道成肉身) — the personal, eternal Word taking flesh permanently, never a temporary bodhisattva-style manifestation (化身/下凡). (2) 被灵称义 directly collides with the baseline’s own ‘never use 灵 alone’ rule for the Holy Spirit, because the established CUV text itself renders πνεύματι here as bare 灵 without the 圣 prefix. This is a genuine tension between established translation tradition and the baseline convention; the base text must be retained for textual fidelity, but every occurrence requires a mandatory theologian’s note identifying this as the Holy Spirit’s vindication of Christ, not a human spirit, ancestral spirit (祖灵), or generic spiritual force.
Divine Sovereignty and the Kingship of God
Mandarin name: 神的主权与至高的君王身份
Key terms: 万王之王,万主之主, 永世的君王, 不朽, 人不能靠近的光
Review routing: Human theologian
CRITICAL: 万王之王,万主之主 (6:15) reuses the baseline’s Critical exclusive-Lordship doctrine and must not be read through the lens of Chinese imperial titulature (e.g., 万岁) or the Daoist folk-pantheon’s Jade Emperor (玉皇大帝), who is sometimes styled supreme ruler over a hierarchy of lesser gods. This title asserts God’s unique, absolute sovereignty over literally every other authority, not primacy within a pantheon of comparable powers. 不朽 (6:16) must be distinguished from the Daoist ‘immortal’ (神仙/仙人) attained through cultivation; God’s immortality is inherent and uncreated.
High Risk Doctrines
Sound Doctrine versus False Teaching
Mandarin name: 纯正的教训与异端的教训
Key terms: 纯正的教训, 传别的教训, 荒渺无据的话语, 家谱, 鬼魔的教训, 假冒的知识, 迷惑人的邪灵
Review routing: Human theologian
纯正 (‘sound/healthy’) risks being read as conformity to social or institutional respectability rather than to the apostolic gospel specifically. 鬼魔的教训 must retain a real personal-demonic source (鬼魔), distinct from ancestral ghosts (祖灵/鬼魂) placated in folk religion, elevating false teaching to spiritual warfare rather than mere error. 假冒的知识 must not be confused with Buddhist wisdom/gnosis attainment vocabulary (智慧/般若).
Qualifications for Church Leadership (Elders and Deacons)
Mandarin name: 教会领袖(监督与执事)的资格
Key terms: 监督, 长老, 执事, 女执事, 只作一个妇人的丈夫, 好好管理自己的家, 无可指责
Review routing: Human theologian
监督 collides with the modern secular sense of ‘workplace supervisor’; must be taught as a spiritual shepherding office functionally identical to 长老 (elder), not a separate managerial or episcopal rank. 只作一个妇人的丈夫 collides with historic Chinese concubinage (妻妾制) and the modern ‘mistress’ phenomenon (小三); must be taught as a positive fidelity requirement. 女执事 (3:11) is an interpretive resolution of a genuine Greek ambiguity and must be flagged as such whenever taught.
The Church as Pillar of Truth
Mandarin name: 教会是真理的柱石和根基
Key terms: 神的家, 永生神的教会, 真理的柱石和根基, 敬虔的奥秘
Review routing: Human theologian
真理的柱石和根基 must be clarified as the church’s role in upholding and displaying revealed truth, not generating or possessing authority over truth independent of Scripture and apostolic teaching — a distinction that matters given both historic imperial-sponsored religious-institution patterns and contemporary institutional-authority expectations familiar to Chinese readers. 敬虔的奥秘 and its associated 奥秘 vocabulary must be distinguished from esoteric secret-transmission traditions (密传) in Chinese Buddhism/Daoism.
Godliness and Contentment
Mandarin name: 敬虔与知足
Key terms: 敬虔, 操练自己以致敬虔, 敬虔是得利的门路, 知足, 永生, 不朽
Review routing: Human theologian
知足 (6:6) is deeply resonant with Daoist ideals (Laozi’s ‘知足者富’) and Buddhist detachment from desire; must be clarified as flowing from active trust in God’s personal provision, not philosophical detachment or wu-wei technique. 敬虔是得利的门路 (6:5) strikingly parallels transactional folk-religious piety (offering worship to wealth-gods 财神 for material fortune) and must be taught as the text’s explicit condemnation of this error. 操练自己以致敬虔 (4:7) risks collision with Daoist/qigong bodily-energy cultivation (气功修炼) if read as a technique for spiritual power rather than Spirit-enabled discipline. 永生 (6:12,19) must be distinguished from Daoist physical-immortality-seeking (长生不老).
Care for Widows and the Household of Faith
Mandarin name: 照顾寡妇与信徒一家的责任
Key terms: 寡妇, 真是寡妇的, 报答父母, 加倍的尊敬
Review routing: Human theologian
Historic Confucian widow-chastity ideology (守节, commemorated by ‘chastity arches’ 贞节牌坊) both stigmatized widows and pressured them against remarriage; 1 Timothy 5:14 actually recommends remarriage for younger widows and calls the church to structured, dignifying communal care. Teaching must neither reinforce widow-shaming stigma nor imply the text opposes remarriage. 报答父母 (5:4) is compatible with but must be theologically distinguished from Confucian filial piety (孝) grounded in ancestor-veneration duty rather than Christian godliness and love.
Guarding the Deposit of Faith
Mandarin name: 守住所交托的真道
Key terms: 守住所托付的, 真道的奥秘, 假冒的知识, 良心
Review routing: Human theologian
守住所托付的 and 真道的奥秘 must be distinguished from esoteric master-to-disciple secret-transmission traditions in Chinese Buddhism/Daoism (口传心授, 密传), in which teaching is guarded as privileged, restricted knowledge for select initiates. The apostolic deposit is public, unchanging gospel truth entrusted to the whole church for open transmission to all, not an inner-circle secret.
Conscience and Moral Integrity
Mandarin name: 良心与道德的正直
Key terms: 良心, 清洁的心, 良心如同被热铁烙惯了一般
Review routing: Human theologian
良心 in Mencian Confucian anthropology denotes an innately good moral sense requiring only cultivation to be realized; biblical conscience, by contrast, can be corrupted, defiled, or ‘seared’ (4:2) and requires active cleansing through faith, not self-cultivation. The CUV’s shift to 心 for the same Greek term in 3:9 must be taught as referring to the identical faculty as 良心 elsewhere, to avoid learners perceiving two different organs.
Church Discipline
Mandarin name: 教会的纪律与责备
Key terms: 交给撒但, 在众人面前责备他, 两三个见证人, 偏心
Review routing: Human theologian
交给撒但 (1:20) must be distinguished from folk cursing or exorcism rituals; this is a formal act of church discipline aimed at eventual restoration, not a magical curse invoking a spirit-being. 在众人面前责备他 (5:20) is highly sensitive given Chinese face-preservation (面子) norms around public correction; translation must preserve the necessary corrective force without either excessive softening or needless humiliation beyond the text’s intent.
Eschatological Apostasy and Demonic Deception
Mandarin name: 末后离弃信仰与鬼魔的迷惑
Key terms: 迷惑人的邪灵, 鬼魔的教训, 离弃信仰, 禁止嫁娶,禁戒食物
Review routing: Human theologian
迷惑人的邪灵 and 鬼魔的教训 must use 邪灵/鬼魔, never bare 灵, to preserve the baseline’s Critical 圣灵-vs-any-other-spirit distinction, and must be kept distinct from folk ‘ghosts’ (鬼) or ancestral spirits.
Medium Risk Doctrines
Public Worship and Prayer
Mandarin name: 公众敬拜与祷告
Key terms: 祷告, 祈求, 代求, 感恩, 圣洁
Review routing: Native speaker review
The basic vocabulary of prayer (祷告/祈求/代求/感恩) is well-established and low-collision, but instruction to pray ‘for kings and all who are in high positions’ (2:1-2) must be handled with native-speaker sensitivity given the political sensitivity of intercessory prayer language for government authorities in the contemporary Chinese context.
Household Relationships and Social Order
Mandarin name: 家中的关系与社会秩序
Key terms: 奴仆在轭下, 主人, 顺服
Review routing: Native speaker review
奴仆在轭下/主人 must be carefully framed as addressing the pastoral reality of a specific ancient social structure, not a timeless endorsement of slavery/servitude; avoid parallels that dignify historic Chinese bonded-servant or feudal-serf hierarchies. Note that 主人 here is a legitimate, non-Christological use of ‘master’ for δεσπότης and must not be allowed to soften 主 (Lord) in Christological contexts elsewhere.
Apostolic Calling and Grace Shown to the Foremost of Sinners
Mandarin name: 使徒的呼召与向罪魁所显的恩典
Key terms: 怜悯, 恩典, 救主, 这话是可信的
Review routing: Native speaker review
Paul’s testimony of receiving mercy (怜悯) and grace (恩典) as ‘the foremost’ of sinners (1:15-16) must not be reframed as an especially large merit-reversal within a merit-ledger worldview (功德); grace remains unearned favor apart from merit-accounting, consistent with the baseline’s Critical grace doctrine. 救主 (1:1) must be kept distinct from generic folk ‘savior’ figures such as Maitreya (弥勒).
Low Risk Doctrines
Thanksgiving and Gratitude
Mandarin name: 感恩
Key terms: 感恩, 祷告
Review routing: Automated review
Standard, low-collision vocabulary reused from the Romans baseline; minor risk of generic secular gratitude without explicit reference to God, especially in 4:3-4’s discussion of food received ‘with thanksgiving.‘
Personal Exhortation and Mutual Encouragement
Mandarin name: 彼此劝勉与勉励
Key terms: 劝勉, 凡事忠心, 温柔
Review routing: Automated review
Standard exhortation vocabulary reused from the Romans baseline’s Mutual Edification doctrine; low collision risk given established Christian usage.
