This glossary consolidates every load-bearing theological term identified in 07_semantic_analysis.md across the entire book of Habakkuk (all 3 chapters), cross-referenced against the baseline Romans translation_memory.json and bible_term_registry.json. Terms already established in the baseline MUST be reused exactly as recorded there; this document does not alter any baseline entry. New terms proposed here are candidates for addition to translation memory before Phase 2 begins.

The passage’s mocking, polemical tone toward manufactured, silent idols MUST remain unmistakable in surrounding syntax (e.g., নির্বাক মূর্তি/প্রতিমা, ‘a mute/silent idol’) so it is never read as neutral or respectful language about a sacred image.
