Cross-Reference Notes for Phase 2
- সদাপ্রভু (Sadaprabhu) is the single highest-priority new addition to translation memory — it occurs in nearly every chapter of Isaiah and has no baseline precedent, since Romans (a New Testament epistle) never needed to render the Old Testament covenant name YHWH.
- The atonement-vocabulary cluster in Isaiah 53 (দোষার্থক বলি, দোষ, অপরাধ, বিদ্ধ, চূর্ণ, শাস্তি, বহন করা, ধার্মিক বলে গণ্য করা) is the highest doctrinal-density term cluster in the whole book and should be finalized and locked before any Phase 2 translation of chapter 53 begins.
- মূর্তি (idol) carries a distinctive collision risk for this curriculum, greater than anything flagged in the Romans baseline, because Isaiah’s idol polemic is extensive (chs. 2, 40-48, 57) and the word মূর্তি is simultaneously the ordinary Bengali word for a Hindu devotional image. Recommend a standing translator’s introductory note for the whole book, not just isolated per-verse footnotes.
- অভিষিক্ত vs. অভিষেক করা vs. খ্রীষ্ট: three related-but-distinct renderings of the mashiach/mashach root must be kept rigorously separate (Cyrus’s non-Messianic anointing at 45:1; the Messianic Spirit-anointing at 61:1; the fixed title খ্রীষ্ট reserved for Jesus). This three-way distinction is unique to the Isaiah curriculum and does not appear in the Romans baseline.
